I just took delivery of my 2023 Elevation about 2 weeks ago. I got the double cab in Titanium Gray, with the leveling kit and the Nitto mud tires. I'm loving it.
@@whitetailwidowmakers Sorry I have no clue, all I know is it was a 2" leveling kit. But I will say the heavy lug on the Nitto Mud tires has made my gas milage average around 13 mpg......18mpg on the highway.
i got the same truck just in white elevation. What i did to mine and made it look ALOT better is i vinyl wrap in glossy black that pieace thats between the front grill and hood. bigger grill look more agressive. do it and do a video on it for all of us elevation guys.
Nice truck!!! I bought a 2024 GMC 2500 HD in July 23 and no issues whatsoever. It has the 6.6 gas with the Allison 10 speed. Long box double cab. There was a roof issue on some, but so far this one is not on the list. Not using oil or any other problem so far. This one is the SLT model so not l the fancy stuff, but enough for me. I haul a camper and pull a 22' boat at the same time. This thing rocks!!! It really has more than enough power and very comfortable. I hope your new truck exceeds your expectations and I'm glad that GM took care of you. I didn't like seeing you go through all that BS!!
No they call it DFM dynamic fuel management. It's the same junk with a different name. And you can delete it and if you have the money I would cause it will save you much pain
Beautiful truck J. Glad everything worked out for you. I’ve had my refresh Silverado for 6 months now and it never gets old. All the stuff you have except adaptive cruise. Can’t wait to see what mods you do but it looks great just the way it sits right there. Get some black lug nuts and center caps. You’ll see a big difference. Best of luck. Your like a kid in a candy store 👍🏼
What % of tint is that because I just bought mine yesterday in all black. I was just going to match the stock rear tint to all match. Your truck looks great
That's great fuel mileage, I avg 16 in my 21 trail boss with the 5.3 and ten speed. Beautiful truck and glad they got you taken care of and most importantly that your happy with it. Happy new year.
Me and my wife average 16.5 miles in our 22 GMC Sierra 1500 limited Slt 5.3L V8 when we drove from San Antonio Texas to Rapid city South Dakota with my parents in tow we were averaging 17.7 miles but that's because we were driving on mainly interstate and No stops !!! Lol
Glad it all turned out right , but I can’t help but think that it wasn’t the type of motor you had but just the technology in these new trucks. I’ve been watching a lot of vids on the 3.0 because I’m leaning that way but alway want to hear the good and bad more so the bad to see what to expect. Guess what I’m getting is I hope it was just that particular truck or what ever the shop did and not all the Chevy, gmc trucks. I have an 2007 Silverado bought new with 240,000 with no issues whatsoever. Scary to go pay 60,70,000+ to have them issues to worry about. Thanks for sharing
V8 gas power will never ever be beaten! No turbo 4cyl. Oh I forgot the new Hurricane straight 6 producing 510hp 510 sounds exactly like a V8 in grand Wagoneer format. Your new truck looks and sounds even better! New Camaro V8 and new GMC V8. My brand new Chrysler 300S V8 also went way up in price but I really enjoy driving my beast👍🇺🇸🥃
Ordered my Silverado March 22nd.. finally supposed to get it this week. I love how you have received 2 trucks within that timeline lol.. I just dont get it.. either way Im happy for you, beautiful truck!
Great truck J once again patience pays off I love it. I'm hoping to purchase one soon different color through by the way I notice your ring did you serve in the military? Artillery?
Beautiful truck! I was wondering if you were going to upload the sticker. I thought you mentioned showing it. This has a lot of uncommon features for the elevation but also the ones I’m looking for and wondering the price. Thanks.
Aren't the vents supposed to be above the infotainment screen in the GMC's? I thought it was the silverados had the vents on the sides of screen. That's what I see on GM's build and price site
On your Bose System, did you try adjusting your equalizer? I have the 12 Speaker System, and it sounds great; however, my Denali (2019), had basically the same system as your Elevation, and it sounded pretty good.
That’s funny you say you are waiting on parts. I’m waiting on parts also. The consumer is paying a big price for parts not being there for your vehicles. They’ve had mine for two weeks now.
Quick question sir , i know you got that katskin leather on the last truck , do they take the old seat covers off ,or do they put them over the existing seats ?
After a lot of aggravation, it looks like your dealer did right by you. Good on you. The 5.3 V8 has been around for awhile, but it has a reputation for being pretty much bulletproof. Glad your adventures had a happy ending.
I like it, very nice. I look forward to hearing how well it does at the 1k, 5k and 10k miles. As I mentioned before, I have 2017 Sierra 1500 Crewcab. At this time it’s in the shop with a misfire on cylinder 7. I’m hoping it’s something on the simple side like coil or spark plug. The problem was very intermittent until we finally got the check engine light to come on. If any of you guys had this problem I would love to know what’s the fix. Otherwise enjoy your 2023 J. So, the fix to my cylinder 7 misfire was to replace the fuel injectors on the left bank (computer test said all left bank injectors were failing) of the engine which were covered by an extended warranty. I paid out of pocket to have the right side replaced. So, all 8 injectors were replaced for approx $2,600 total cost. Truck is running like new...
nice truck. just getting caught up on all of the past videos of issues you've been recording.. glad it finally worked out. I have a 23 Elevation in black and love it. Coming from an older Sierra Denali with the 6.2 liter V8, I took a chance on the new 2.7 turbo engine but so far it's been great. it's a beast and more power than most will need. Hopefully none of us will have any of the issues you experienced in the 22 model. good luck, keep us posted..
Hey bro i thought the elevations didn't have the option for sunroof, leather seats and the bucket seats with the center console did you order this truck the way you wanted or was it already built sitting at the dealer lot?
First off a big Happy New Year🎊🎉. What a way to start off the new year 🙌 but with a new truck. That red is BEAUTIFUL 😍. Would love to hear more on the exchange, and update on the mileage. Which transmission did you get? Great walk around. Peace ✌️ out. 😊
It's a great engine, so yes I would. If you want the best fuel economy go with the Duramax. I've had one of those two, and it's amazing as well. I like the V8 though, as gas cost mich less.
@J. Williams I was thinking of getting the duramax but as you said the high price of diesel offsets the great mpg. Whatever I end getting won't be my daily driver, at least not immediately. Thanks for responding
I know you said you had issues with your Duramax and im not sure what thay was but 100% hands down the 3.0L duramax is a better motir for almost everything. Better fuel city, better highway, almost double fuel towing. Blows my mind when i see sosmeon buy a V8 now in a halfton when there is a diesel option. You must have had a lemon and would have sticked with Duramax. I have about 12 guys i work with that have had previous v8 and now duramax and not a single one said they would ever go back to gas
Great Truck brother. Once the girl graduates from college I'm buying a new sports car or truck. You got me thinking truck now sir👍🏿 Great video as always homie✊🏿
Amazing color - I have a 23 Tahoe on order and was hoping to get this color but its discontinued - the new color is very close but not exactly the same which is a shame. The interior does look a very dark gray to me but cameras never really pick up true interior colors. I test drove a 23 chevy Silverado High Country with the Jet Black interior and it was really jet black so its surprising that yours is dark gray….still, a great truck and I hope it serves you well for years to come given what you went through. One question: Can you switch the adaptive cruise control to work as a normal cruise when needed or is it Adaptive cruise or nothing? Happy New Year.
You hold down the cruise on off button that is on the steering wheel (far left button) to change between adaptive and normal cruise control. When you set the cruise there is a quick message in the infotainment center telling you how to switch between each function.
Thanks for the update. Good to know. There are times based on traffic congestion, physical gap between vehicles, passing behavior of drivers (cutting back in right in front of you) and speed traffic is moving on interstates that Adaptive can be a major pain in the neck.
Nice! I like the standard tailgate! Gives a cleaner look at the rear… plus 10 years from now it will still work.
you changed it for the silverado
That thing is FRESH!!! Happy New Years to you brotha and congrats on the RETURN...of Big Poppa!
Man, that V8 sound, thank goodness you finally got your new truck lol.
You and me both!
Picked up a 2023 AT4 Diesel with the exact same color for my wife last week.
I just took delivery of my 2023 Elevation about 2 weeks ago. I got the double cab in Titanium Gray, with the leveling kit and the Nitto mud tires. I'm loving it.
Any chance anyone can inform on what the leveling kit brand would be and how many inches, and also if it was just fronts or also back blocks? Thanks!
@@whitetailwidowmakers Sorry I have no clue, all I know is it was a 2" leveling kit. But I will say the heavy lug on the Nitto Mud tires has made my gas milage average around 13 mpg......18mpg on the highway.

Yea sir. My dealer really took care of this for me, I’m pleased. I’m deciding on the color for my interior now.

i wish you could disable the on off starting on these trucks permanetly also the cylinder deactivation as well

wondering if you know how to keep the car on / engine off for like movie drive-ins?
Tap the start/stop button once, no foot on the brake. It will stay on for about 15 to 20 minutes, and then you’ll need to do it again.
