While I appreciate that you published this comparison, you did leave out one of the MOST IMPORTANT things to consider between using both apps, and that is how harshly they tax your system. It's vital for those who have head units with a limited amount of memory, graphics strength or processor strength. Too many times Google Maps runs very slowly on some of my previous head units. So knowing if Sygic, Waze or Google Maps runs more efficiently, is a vital decision maker when deciding which one to use. Please include this metric in future comparisons, or edit these last few vids and add it in. Thanks.
Sygic is by far better than Google map. Sygic is always improving. My brother and l was trying to find a location and we almost lost. He was using Google maps. I used my Sygic and we were able to find the location.
I use both gmaps to copy the gps coordinat, and sygic for navigate the way. Sygic have strong advantage especially when you need to change the line in the highway so helpful

To me Google maps will lags by the time you gotten to close to a turn off. I tested it on well known routes where I've lived. I felt it would have gotten a stranger confused and possibly lost. My stand alone Garmin was far better, and it would tell me off construction zones.

Googlemap have only one types of vehicle type and its car , not truck or bus or others types of vehicle . Others are just cycle route or plan or timing of public transport .
Hi, I have downloaded Sygic, but I was very disappointed when it was a road block because of road construction, and it did want to go through and did not change course though on the map I could see that the system recognized the road block. What can I do to avoid this huge mistake? I could not find anything in the set up, though it was a road I knew so it was no problem. I am planning a longer trip and I cannot afford get into a closed route. If anyone have a suggestion please help.

Google maps is not free it uses data and sometimes if you haven't realised it you can go places that have no mobile signal. Got lost in the Welsh mountains at midnight thanks to this. It's OK if you know before hand and download offline maps but not if you're not expecting it. I paid a small lifetime update fee for world maps on Sygic. Always have a map of the whole of the UK on my device which automatically updates every three months and if I'm going somewhere outside the UK I load up only the maps of countries I need to save space. You can use Sygic with live traffic if you don't mind using data but you'll never be lost and most of the time I use it offline on my motorcycle and car. Never had problems with finding addresses but we use post codes here. Both are certainly better than the one that came with the company van. The maps were out of date when I got the van new and cost a fortune to update. I'll never buy a vehicle with fitted GPS unless it can run Google maps. I normally end up using Google maps for the last couple of miles on the phone because the van GPS gets lost....

The Sygic interface is nice, granted, but in the end a navigation program serves one purpose: a correct indication of the road to travel...
I just switched from an I phone to an android. I gotta say I enjoyed Apple maps better cuz it brought me straight to the doorstep where as Google maps takes me to like 3-4 doors down
@@mks-mobile well Google maps doesn't support area wise download. We can only download particular area with predefined rectangular scale provided which is troublesome . Would have been better if they would give option to download particular area like whole India or Only one state in particular.

Not worth paying for navigation. Most free navigation applications like Waze and Naps are just as good. Paying for navigations ads nothing but dumbness.

The most important part these days is the RAM, and also internal memory. Because, you can download offline Maps on Google Maps. Google Maps, however is heavy, so it requires good RAM to run. In the case of Waze, I would say, internet is more important.

All nav apps do this. It depends on not having accurate information about the roads in question. I've experienced it with Sygic and Google Maps. Don't forget to check your navigation settings. If all seem confused, enable satellite view in Google Maps and study your location.

No Google maps is not efficient if you travel to different countries its no good having to be online all the time. Furthermore Sygic uses Tomtom maps

Google Maps says "you have arrived" when you are close, because it takes some time for the vehicle to stop. That's why that's it, I believe
If it's wrong you can update the map (feedback), No map will be 100% correct ever
