Right when you start at 1:29, they seem to be breaking up. Might be the head unit clipping. But it seems that these need a higher order crossover as this seems to be to low for them.
They do sound good for the price point. They definitely look great and easy to mount.
Not sure about the high end moniker, but they do sound more open. But I seem to hear some breakup. Might just be the microphone.
It was definitely the microphone not being able to handle the high frequencies. In person they’re 100% clear no static or break up.
I would love to see these on a 75watt RMS amp....I'm on my 3rd pair because that's what's I'm pushing and none can handle it...all are added to a JL audio C2 component set with the crossover set to -3db
