Get your pencil out and compare the cost of AI with the extra income for five years of extra milk from your cows and you will see it did not cost you anything! It is amazing how much difference it will make! Have you checked on the protein and TDN count of the maise stalks? Try tall beans planted among the maise plants for extra protein. You have to plant them at just the right time to get it just right but it can add to your yield if you get it right! Good luck on your farm!

I went to a farm somewhere and i was told when you cut the banana stalk to milking cows it reduces the amount of milk produced, is it true?
It has no nutrition value for the animals. If you don't supplement, the milk quality will not be good and definitely not the quantity
We have used it for a while, but we mix with the other mentioned feeds, and the yield has been good.
