I love seeing other people's collections. Seeing what other people like and collect compared to me. I have approximately forty watches and we only have one watch in common, the Seiko Samurai but mine is in black. That's what makes this such a fun hobby.
Exactly! There are so many options from budget, high end and no microbrands too so every collector can find what they like and it'll be completely different to someone else
A very impressive collection. Not surprisingly, my favourites of yours were the two Grand Seikos. They looked beautiful on screen and I can only imagine how much more striking they must be in the flesh.
I just got across your video and I really like your collection. I wonder what is the core collection of yours. You also asked in end of the video how many of watches do we have in our collection. I have more than you but... believe it or not my entire collection will be worth less than two of your watches. Yes, the Grand Seiko ones. What a beautiful pieces...
Thanks for watching! I may do another video soon with an updated view of the collection and talk more about my core collection. That's quite a collection you've got without breaking the bank! I don't think price always equals enjoyment and as long as they make you happy when you wear them, that's the #1 priority
@@addicted_to_watches oh, no way! Thanks, that's awesome, I see we have a few of the same prices, so hopefully some of my videos were helpful in your decision making.
I love your passion for the watches you love to collect. My addiction started around 4 years ago and 230+ watches mean I need to attend meetings... lol! I'm from Sydney, Australia and trying to pick your accent. Enjoy and Merry Xmas!
Thank you! That's a watch collection and a half you have 😮 I'm a Sydney local and have lived here all my life except for a couple of years in Japan. Have a great holiday season!
@addictedtowatches9458 , we have a social watch group of around 14 guys that chat, have WOTD, meet up monthly or so for dinner and tell stores, sell and swap. Oz Watch Boys. Jody from JOMW and Aussie Wrist Watch hope to join us in the new year. Are you interested?
@@addicted_to_watchesit really is. for me this seiko is the anti thesis of the begining of my journey. I "hate' white dial, integrated bracelet and quartz, but I wear it more often now 😅. 6-8 watches seems manageable. I'm chopping down my collection too. when selling, dealing with low baller needs more patience 😂.
Many UA-camrs use the world collection quite loosely including the inane "one watch collection." but your heavy focus on one brand is the very definition of collection, though in my humble opinion those two GS and perhaps a third diver or hi beat GMT in a 44GS case could take the place of all the others.
Only some? 😢 just kidding. Thank you! I sell them locally here in Australia through various online platforms. So if you live here keep an eye out, but if you're anywhere else you're out of luck for now
Im a solar watch fan, better if is titanium. But that lasts Grand Seikos and the Baby Alpinist would keep I'm my collection. How you manage to use all your collection?
The good thing is that in Seiko's JDM range there are plenty of titanium solar watches to choose from. I generally try and rotate through them as much as I can, with a different one each day but there are definitely some that don't get worn as much as they deserve unfortunately
@@addicted_to_watches I didn’t notice the Aussie accent, probably been watching too much Mr Inbetween. Lol I think Seiko has done a poor job advertising this watch. The stock picture makes the numbers look light blue but they are dark blue, correct? You said the white was a “milky”? Would you say the colors are the same as the spb267?
Hahaha yeah, I don't think I have a particularly strong accent. Agree about what Seiko has done/not done advertising the watch. The SPB267 is more of a place blue isn't it? This one leans more towards ever so slightly cream
Mate why the need to wave your hands all over the place? I would prefer you see you pick up the watch and show them. thats just me. Thanks for showing your collection
Way too manY Seiko’s mate. You have several thousands of dollars worth of average Seiko’s. With that amount of money spent on watches you could have a Omega Speedmaster and a nice used Rolex. You can’t possibly wear most of those watches. Early in y collecting days I had quality over quality. I then realized I only wore a few watches anyway. I now have 12 watches and 8 are “heavy hitters”

Thank you! Yes, the look good on camera but it doesn't do them justice. The lake suwa especially really does look like ripples on the surface of water

What's the model of that vintage Citizen watch? It looks so gorgeous!
It is a great looking little watch isn't it! I can't find a lot of information about it but the case ref is 63-0578
Bro your video is inspiring. Will continue watching your content. Thank you!
Appreciate it! Thanks for watching
Excellent review and collection, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching. Love you channel!

Great collection! Keep the videos coming…

Solid Seiko collection
Thank you!
Nice collection,my favorite is the Credor
Thank you for watching!
What is the model of the black radiowave solar Seiko at 3:20?
That one is a SBTM159
I have that same 8F32 but white dial. and is that seiko SBTM-217?
Nice! I bet the white version really pops. Yep, it is the 217

If the gs divers were a bit smaller that might be at risk of happening 🤣
Hi love the collection. Love some of the pieces. How and where would you sell them?

I try not to think about that 😅
Nice looking pieces just need some different straps
Awesome. I'm blown away.
any desire to sell the sarx095 or trade+cash? i am in the market but i hate the bracelet.
I will probably sell it eventually. I generally only sell locally here in Australia so if you're not here it will be tough

Dark side of watch collecting .........."High Credit Card Debt".......
Always best to live within your means
Good collection but slightly more duplicates than I would have IMO
Most of those duplicates are for review rather than to keep but yeah, there are a few doubles or really similar ones in there
You need more variety homeboy and get rid of a couple. You only need 4-5 watches
To be fair there's a core collection of 6-8, the others come and go
I hate quartz watches ALL of them but the Casio and a manual wind up is just out of the question
To each their own but it never hurts to expand your horizons ;)
Buying 38 cent Ali Express watches… the dark side…!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That's going where no man should ever go!

😅 not at that point in time no. But there were some swiss in the collection before and some coming soon too 👀
