I have been around every mountain of this lake with my friends.3 days camp .
One night baisaran one night kanimoel and one night tuliyan.
It was amazing to be there

The carrying capacity of mountains is very less and its highly fragile ecosystem. Being a kashmiri myself ik locals also have no regard to our home and now when so many tourists come they do they same. Its so heartbreaking
Also i hope going into glacial lakes and springs would be banned ,these are pristine and deserve to be respected
I rather recommend that there should be dustbins and waste collections in these places. Waste management is a desperate need.

Hey phil bland . Please visit Manimahesh temple . That is in chamba district Of himachal pradesh ..not far from jammu . right now we have a festivel going on there. It will last for 14 day. After a climb. . On top There is a holy Lake. And peaple use to bath in that

Very painful to see our public places littered with trash. When will we understand the importance of taking responsibility to carry our trash ourselves till we can dump it in appropriate bins. So ashamed of citizens who do this!
You started a hunter gather life.
Those trashes are usually in piles so that someone can come by to burn them. There's just no other method to control the waste. Because of high population, people could not keep up with their environment. It's the common practice in other Asian countries except for Singapore.
That's exactly what I thought at the first place.. but I don't think there's overpopulation problem in Kashmir they're 6mill people and the Indian troops make up more than that in the region..... But the litter is depressing me.

Phil, I saw one of your previous videos when you dropped your kulfi stick on the road in Srinagar. As a vlogger, you should have been more responsible. Tourists should pick up their own trash in the mountains as it is fragile.
As you’ll probably have also seen I apologised in the comment section of that Vlog, it was in the middle of the city which is not as bad as the countryside, a local told me to, and those sticks were wooden, not plastic so biodegradable. I picked up trash on the mountain that someone else left in the last Vlog. The trash in this video is next level bad a lot of plastic. Anyway, thanks so very much for taking the time to remind me of my momentary slip.
