Hi Tamara, thank you very much for these videos which I’m following to make my first album which I shall be giving away so it needs to be perfect! I have made your extended spine and have attached the front and back covers now. Crafting friends that have made this tell me I should strengthen the spine and covers with chipboard with my chosen card on top and then decorate. Do I actually need to do this, the a,bum is going to be quite chunky with a drop in on each page as it will have the first year of babies life in it. Many thanks, Jan
Dani Cariaso Hi Dani, have you watched the video on extending the spine? Best thing would be to die cut all the spine pieces and go from there. I would die cut on scrap paper first. Let me know how you get on😊
Hi Adonna, you don’t have to buy a Gemini but you will need a die cutter, one that will cut larger dies. I’m not sure what you mean about the purple mat. Let me know where about in the video I mentioned it. x
@@TamaraMortonCrafts I am sorry, I mean the bottom one. I am enjoying , making your journal. I am on page one. Wishe I would ave known about shading the edges, for antique look. Great fun you are talented.

The dies won’t cut heavy chipboard so you could double layer the front, back and spine with cardstock.
Hi, Tamara... I will let you know how it turns out 😉👍
Hello, Can you let me know where I can get the die set
I am still somewhat confused with how you made the extended spine. I will try and make it and see how it turns out.
