    Hi Tamara. Love your videos. I have a question....what is the red sticky liner tape you are using?
    I'm sure that if you are making albums with it, then it is strong.
    Thank you

      Hi, thank you for your comment. The red sticky tape is called Red Liner tape it is pretty strong. I get mine from Amazon but if you search on the internet lots will come up. xx

    Hi Tamara these videos are great I'm just making my first memory book and these videos have been so helpful, however, I don't have the dies for memory book 1 can I still make the flaps from the memory book 2 die collection please

    • @TamaraMortonCrafts
      @TamaraMortonCrafts  6 років тому

      Lisa Williams Hi Lisa, I don’t see why not. Just measure the width with one of the smaller MB2 dies. I’m not in my studio at the mo. Give me an hour and I’ll have a look. You could also make the flaps using your trimmer and have them exactly the size you want. I would just allow 1/2” and score for a glue tab. Hope that makes sense. x

      I didn't think of that thank you Tamara it's a little bit daunting on your first attempt and I'm crafting along with you and I got a bit worried when the mb1 dies where used I've looked everywhere to buy them but they are like gold dust so I'll have to make do with my mb2 set but thank you so much for your reply and help I absolutely love these videos and you explain things so well thank you xx

      Lisa Williams you’re so welcome. I know that it can be really daunting the first time, but don’t worry at the end of the day it’s only paper and any mistakes are easily fixed. Let me know if you need any help. I’ve just measured the book for the flaps and the two smallest MB2 dies would be a good fit you just have to turn them horizontal and make a hinge strip. X

    Hi!! Learned a little trick when sticking magnets...if you cut a little strip of the red double sided tape on each magnet, it wouldn't take long to stick it properly on their respective sides/

      Sophie Manning , thank you for your wonderful comment. The weight of card is 300gsm. I wouldn’t use any heavier and not less than 260gsm xx

    Is there any was to get a tutorial on the memory book maker base creator die set. I watched this tutorial but could not get the the first one where you made the spine. I’m fairly new to this and have no idea how to start this book but want to make it right away.

      Sue Ross Redmon hi Sue, first off welcome to the world of book making. I have the first album down on my list of tutorials to do. If I get time later today I’ll pop a video up. In the mean time if you have Facebook do a search for tutorials on memory book creator dies and you should get a few come up. X
