Is there actually time travel or moments of time travel in this book or is it really just time dilation? Would you recommend it as or call it a time travel book?
One of the best books I've ever read - not a time travel book though. Heavily involved in time dilation. Their ship is traveling so fast, for them inside the ship, time travels normally, but the universe outside the ship is ending at an alarming rate.
Nice review...I just finished this too and thought I'd listen to what others thought about it. I love science fiction and am trying to read as many of the big authors and their important works as possible. I definitely enjoyed this book. The scope of it blew my mind...50 billion years! Wow! Space travel and it's effects on time fascinate me. Check out Forever War by Joe Haldeman and Gateway by Frederik Pohl if you want to read other books of the same ilk.

Alright is parallel worlds by michio kaku recommended for teens? Or it more on science?
it's definitely a science book. it can be enjoyed by teens, but isn't a "young adult/teen novel" book.

Novel is totlally different to the film. You could say the film is loosley based on the book.
