Yes you can, you would need to secure a job. Start planning well in advance about 6 months before your tenure is coming to end.

@Kratos-kq8ll if your employer is happy to extend, if not look for other jobs on NHS jobs / trac jobs website.
Look for Senior clinical fellow/ speciality doctor jobs.
