Watched a Video of someone (look in my playlist for China last one saved) who was showing evidence of China paying channels to post propaganda, this is Russian Propaganda that US funding the Ukrainian War is going to make US Starve if we don't stop now...
they take the land from the farmers in Holland, they have guns here , they want to do the same , they are occultists this government, people don’t see!!! I am Romanian living in USA , socialism never works!!!! this is what they are trying to do, but here people have guns so it has to be done differently. Communism is good in the beginning but after a little time, they stop giving food to stores and we were on rationed food ,
God bless you sister. The invalid dumb dumb in the Wh-ite-hou-se. Plus the swamp of corrupt politicians. Have turned what was once the most prosperous (USA) and independent country Into a mess. They sold us out thru bad policy and regulations. That have forced businesses to move production overseas. I worry about the future of our grandbabies.
Speaking from a farming community. You will be suprised at what is NOT growing. The cost of fertilizer/Diesel shortages, crop devastation from the crazy freezes we've had. Stock up!
Your so right, most people aren't looking at the entire situation, all of the issues combined all point to a food shortage, but it wont affect the U.S nearly as bad as other places in the world ( some of them will starve 😥) but we will have lost of issues and extreme prices that some just can't afford.. it's going to be bad in fall and take a while to fix..stocking up and having a garden is the best option..
Farmers are scaling back like everyone else. Fuel and feed costs have gone up more than 50% and yes we are entering hyper inflation. The Stock Market is about to dump again based on the recent Consumer Price Index. Once that happens, layoffs will follow. The DATA is out there if you look. Brace yourselves, a wild ride is about to start...
I think there will still be on the shelf, but the cost may double by then. I would rather get a box of tea bags now for $2 than waiting 2 months and pay $4.
Because my budget is so low things like tea....a luxury to me is off the shopping list among other non essential but fun enjoyable products. I'm spoiled but will survive just fine :D
Couldn’t disagree more. Lack of diesel, fertilizer costs and lack of truckers will all contribute to a coming food crisis, not to mention the panic factor. Prepare!
Diesel Engine Oil out of stock in 4-8 weeks. It was listed on one of the major suppliers site but since HHR MIKE ADAMS health ranger put the warning of it out in the public they have removed it from their website. NO MORE IN PRODUCTION until "maybe" 1st quarter 2023. Everything runs on diesel engine OIL, firetrucks, school buses, ambulances, construction equip., utility trucks electric/water, semis, trains ships, farm equip. MILITARY. They couldn't completely control Diesel Fuel or DEF additive for diesel fuel shortages because older trucks didn't need the additive and there are still gas engines out there, but creating Diesel Engine Oil shortages shuts down everything real fast. Not even mail will run.
I can tell you from farmers point of view in Central Oregon that this year has been hard on both wheat and hay because of the weather. Also a lot of the farmers have already sold what they will be growing to overseas. Ranchers are having trouble getting hay already. So this isn't just going to make a difference in wheat prices but also in the meat prices. Things are really crazy this year. I would personally tell people to get what they can now. War or no war. The weather is making a big difference this year
same in the Midwest ! Not to mentioned the Diesel prices , Farmers can't get parts for broken down equipment . What's the worse it could happen ... you have extra food at home
Weather warfare .More people need zo pray to Jesus about this. I've prayed many times n the storm's stopped. I always say if the rains isn't you Jesus please stop them in the name of Jesus.
From what I understand, it’s next year’s crops that will most impacted by the lack of fertilizer and the insane price of gas/diesel. Getting in the habit of stocking up and rotating through what you buy is the best way to get prepared. It needs to be a lifestyle not a one time stampede.
Totally agree. We are farmers in northwest Missouri. We were able to lock in prices for fertilizer for 2022 late in 2021 before the price went crazy. We did have to buy some at the higher price but only a minimum. Next year will be a different story. Diesel is another problem. It’s hit us hard this year. Can’t imagine if it keeps going up or if there is a shortage like some are predicting. If that happens it could affect the ability to harvest crops which would affect food shortages.
Crops are plentiful here in Mississippi. Yes, I beleive it's ALL being done intensionally when it comes to gasoline & food supplies. I do believe there could/will be a shortage in processed food mainly. We just need to always try & stay stocked up for at least 90 days to 1 yr per household in case illness, job loss, shortages or financial crash.
Barring some major weather related crop failures, the US has plenty of food. The problem is that our allies around the world can not sustain themselves which means that demand and prices are going to skyrocket for everyone. It might actually be a good thing for US farming industry overall, but it will impact the domestic consumer's wallet.
If you are hearing of food shortages and the president has also mentioned it, I think you need to prepare and stock up. When the pandemic first started, I went to Sam's Club to pick up a prescription and I noticed people stocking up on water, toilet paper, etc. I was going to grab some as well after seeing this but decided I'd come back the following week. When I went back the following week, I couldn't find water, toilet paper, wipes, chicken, meat, etc. and I couldn't find any of it for months. I say if you can afford to get a little extra everytime you go to the store, do so. The president himself said there would be food shortages. Listen to the warnings.
I am stocking up for emergencies. I am stocking to shop my own pantry when prices get out of control. And also I am stocking to avoid people at stores when there is less on the shelf and people act stupid crazy. Because you see people act stupid crazy over fast food orders gone wrong! Some people have no morals and no class. Those people I want to avoid..and keep my life with less stress.
And pretty soon grocery stores will be a place that you don't want to go alone. People will be waiting to steal your groceries and even follow you home. Isn't that creepy? Also, it's not out there that much yet but people are siphoning gas out of people's gas tanks so if your gas tank can be opened easily from the outside, get a lock cap. When I first heard of this a few weeks ago, sure enough on a local page, someone had it happen to them at a local Walmart here in Central Texas. Not too long ago that would have been a nuisance and a big inconvenience but now it could be the difference between making it home or not or being stranded.
@@yosefmacgruber1920 I know he did. If he was truly our president I would say our duly elected President. Also, thats why I just said the president and not our president.
@@eileenfuentes6975 It's begun. I've already heard of people getting hijacked for their groceries. That's why I park in my garage so people don't know when I'm coming home with groceries. Also so I won't get my gas stolen.
With all the “noise” out there, it is becoming more difficult to maintain a sense of balance: to be reasonably prepared and yet not living with a spirit of fear, which is why I appreciate your channel. You are doing a wonderful job of maintaining that balance-thank you!
I've already bought a year supply, but we're not going to run out of food in 70 days. Good grief, we're about to harvest. Shortages and skyrocketing prices are the problem for Americans, not starvation.
As a former truck driver, I would say that a factor that will weigh heavily is: distribution. Supply chain issues regarding various crops happen to play into much of what is happening and needs to be considered. If some social issues suddenly appear, along with rising fuel costs, it could get bad. That is not fear, it is fact and should be seriously taken into consideration. Especially when the government is warning us.
I always buy hot dog buns for the grandkids when they visit and end up tossing a few when they leave. They take the weiner out of the bun and eat it separately. We don't eat that much bread around here. I bake flour goods once in a blue moon.
In my household we are very conservative about what's thrown out. My chickens get plenty of the leftovers which lowers my feed bill. That's how we did it when I was a kid growing up too. Our cats and dogs think they've died and gone to heaven if they get any meat leftovers. Especially the cats because we want them to take their time and hunt for the rats and mice that are living out in the fields and woods around us.
Food that is wasted should be given away..because most food that is near the expiration date ...in supermarkets and restaurants...there is nothing wrong with the food. Let the supermarkets and restaurants have a food giveaway..or give the food to churches and shelters and community centers and food banks to have a food giveaway. I don't understand food that has not yet gone bad being thrown away.
It's really clear to me that there is a lot of psychological warfare going on. People are being encouraged to panic and therefore encouraged to be "me against you" in attitude. Guard yourself against what is being pushed, be aware others will fall into it, and be wisely prepared without the panic. My prayer is to do what the Lord would have me to do, and to be ready to give as he would have me to give. I only have a little, just moved and haven't got a pantry, but paying attention and praying.
Southern Prepper 1 - people report shortages in their employment. A wheat farmer with 1000 acres said “it’s looking bad”! Another wheat farmer cannot plant as his soil is too wet. Wife tried to order wheat berries from LDS online- out of stock on ALL products. Southern AZ- farmers can’t plant as we are in a drought. CA- cutting water off to farmers due to water/ draught. Don’t take today for granted….. things ARE going to be MUCH WORSE NEXT YEAR. Wife follows AG News. Yasa Ama- UA-cam also follows farmers and food intel. Just my 2cents..
Shipping after June 9th, and you can only order 1 case. Click on each individual item. Days ago they only had 1 thing back ordered and only 1 item available. The past... The price of wheat there jumped from December to January! The future If fertilizer has tripled or quadrupled and diesel is going up it will be more expensive later. You need diesel for tractors, trucks, ships, trains! And we are shipping it to Europe! Stocks tanked because people are spending less there and more on necessities. When companies make less they layoff. When laid off, you spend even less! Business dont make money and close. Snowball.
The one factor you’re not looking at is what the US exported. Last year alone China purchased 6 times the amount of grains it normally does. Have you factored that in?
Yeah I was thinking about exports as well. With Ukraine unable to produce and export due to war and Russia picking and choosing whom to help that leaves a heavy weight on other countries to pick up the slack. Cargo shipping is a mess. I can foresee problems for sure. China did as well.
@@kc4091 right? Just like Biden giving away our military defenses and $40 billion to Ukraine. Biden’s strict regulations are causing refineries to close, and he sent baby formula to help illegal immigrants on the boarder. But on the bright side no more mean tweets.
Except they do not make sure there is enough for us first. I have seen this with alfalfa years ago. The price on alfalfa went way up in California, because so much of it was shipped to China causing a shortage for our own farmers.
News flash! China has pre-purchased 50 to 70% of the entire world’s grain crops. Make sure to deduct that from your thinking on quantities available for the rest of us. Also add to that thinking that the US does not keep their crops for people in the US. We export to whoever purchased it, like China or Turkey. Just like our egg shortage here when we still have plenty of chickens from the bird flu. Our eggs are being shipped to Israel and the Far East. Best to prepare. The other thing you can count on is the food we do have will be much higher in price. CFOs predicting 35% price increases by August. That you can take to the bank. To make a withdrawal to buy what groceries you can find.
I came here to say the same thing. Also, I live in a farm area in Louisiana. I’ve never seen so many open fields that weren’t even planted. Even the fields that were planted didn’t get a great stand after doing some spot planting. No one could get the fertilizers they usually use. The field in front of my house made my house smell like a dead gator was in it for weeks. Also, I’ve never seen the temporary corn storage areas at the grain elevator by my house empty. They usually have trucks lined up trying to get it to the ports before the new crop comes in. Corn isn’t anywhere close to ready here and they’re empty.
i’ve stop buying reg bread i’ve been using flat soft tacos shells and they last longer then reg bread and can store lots in a cabinet with less waste of space just my opinion
Personally, I think that if you are seeing full shelves in the stores right now, it's because they are finally getting some of the container ships unloaded and some of the back logged orders are coming in. Will they lower prices on all of that inventory? No way. Watch those expiration dates on the shelves! Baby food at two Walmarts this week were ALL expired by the end of 2022 except for Beechnut brand which expired March 2022. Amazon is the same way. Grab the sales right now, but WATCH THOSE DATES!
Yup and here's the reason for the fear mongering. they want us to buy up all these items. dont just pay attention to dates look at the food. we found mill moth larva IN OUR UNOPENED CRACKERS! EXP Date this coming Nov. I check EVERYTHING now!
Another perspective that affects your analysis for the United States is that alot of farmers have contracts with other countries and we export a tremendous amount of wheat to other countries they would be in default if they did not fulfill these contract obligations regardless of the need in our own country
CHINA, and India produce wheat but India has already put a stop to their wheat exports and we know from covid that when the rubber meets the road, china will hoard and take care of china... remember they sucked up all the ppe before they unleashed covid on the world. I definitely don't trust them not doing the same with our food.
I'm grateful to be living in the US. People in Africa and the Middle East may not be able to get wheat as they did from Uk-grain or Rush-a. Many Americans are going to have to be more flexible and willing to change their eating habits, regardless.
Enjoyed your balanced point of view for the USA. I don't live there. Every person that I know in my country has put aside extra food for emergency situations. I think Australians just get on with it, without all the histrionics. No one is panic buying and the shelves in our supermarkets are full. Our fuel is $9 a gallon at present which impacts freight so our food prices are rising steadily. Being fearful does not help anyone.
@The Grumpy Horticulturist Yes good comment my friend. It is best to hear it from the very people who are most affected. Most of us in every country, have the true grit like you say.
I agree. I am a serious prepper and I can't stand these clickbait channels that induce FUD and hapless "prepping". Shopping at the Dollar Tree for Vienna Sausage does not a prepper make. There is a flow chart for basic preps that recognizes water filtation/storage, power alternatives/backups, longterm food storage (most expensive aspect), midrange food storage (cans), fresh foods/gardening skills. Scared people do not prep strategically- they "shotgun" prep which ends up placing their mindset in depression and fear.
I can agree with your perspective. There is definately a poultry shortage. Massive droughts in the largest fruit and vegitable producing states in the US (California to the mid-west.). Grains and corn feed dairy and meat cattle. Yes, the best way to quell your fear is by taking action. Slow methodical, one step at a time action. Plant a garden, get some chickens and put away extra non-perishable foods every week. Little by little it all adds up.
Plain flour prices in the UK have risen 40%, same for butter, vegetable oil...one rapeseed oil brand went up 100%, I haven't seen sunflower oil for over a month, olive oil is now just too expensive. So, if you can afford fuel, electricity and to eat you'll be fine. A lot of people won't be...
Thank You Tarra I appreciate this video. I have stored up 6 months of almost everything and 1 year of cat food. When I went to the store the last time on Friday I got $20 of food again and a voice said that is enough!!!! no more fear and I said out loud to embed it in my heart.
Priscilla, that’s me too. I’d rather suffer than to see my cats starve, so their food and water pantry is a bit disproportionate to mine. I finally have also heard that voice: “You’re good now. Start consuming some of that, and have peace of mind.” And I do.
I feel fortunate that I went thru a depression mentally and financial since 2019. I learned I don't have to eat so much. I do believe its wise to stock up because of price hikes. We just will have to make choices. I think shortages, but not famine!
I’m from Australia 🇦🇺.. my husband and I worked with some of the biggest poultry companies in the country 10 years ago these companies already started planning/preparation with others companies for a global food shortages for poultry alone.. the plan was a 30 year plan..don’t stress just plan people
Thanks Theresa. Aussie myself. Every person I know is taking it in their stride. Putting aside food each week as they are able. I think long lockdowns have changed our mindset and we have had a warning about how quickly things can change. Thanks for speaking about the chook situation.
This is also in relation to our local climate ie, droughts etc that effect grain production and this adds expense to poultry production. The plan is also related to our weather events impacting food production
Love the flowers on your porch! Thanks for your research. You are appreciated. There are wheat fields all around us here in Washington state & I guess because we had colder than normal temperatures the past few months that wheat growth is significantly lower than previous years. I agree with you it is good to be prepared but don’t panic.
Hello Tawra, please consider, that states will sell wheat to countries that do not produce. All the wheat wont stay in countries that grow it. They will ,,try to help,, countries importing wheat. Africa ….. and so on. China is also not exporting their produce.
With prices of cookies, candy, ice cream, potato chips, etc. I'll probably will lose the weight I've been trying to lose for years. I should send thank you cards to some of these companies. Honestly I believe some are engaging in price gouging, and/or restricting inventory. Either the producer, and/or retail stores. I trust corporate America as much as I do any government, which is none at all.
Fear mongering makes great ratings for the news stations. DON'T BELIEVE we are running out of food like they say. But what is going on this world it does affect us.if truckers can't get the wheat to the flour mills or they can't get people to work there, what then? Or if a major bread/ bakery burned down, what then? I remember they were dumping milk because they couldn't manage to get it to the stores last year. And if you do talk to preppers who are in huge farming communities all over the country, it's hit them so hard some cannot plant this year. Unless OUR COUNTRY does so like other countries refusing to export our wheat,we WON'T have ENOUGH here! You may have figures of what we produce here in America, but how much of that is already spoken for to be exported out of OUR COUNTRY?!
White winter wheat is used for cakes, cookies, etc - not for bread. So there is a big difference between red and white wheat, we are way down in red wheat which is where our bread comes from. Also, we have had 2.5 years of very very hard weather conditions and it has significantly impacted farms and ranches (no, I do not believe in climate change, but we HAVE had horrific conditions with fires, record heat, droughts). We've had drought for 3 years in many of the major growing areas of the US. We've had fires, heat waves, flooding, insects and the list goes on. MANY cattle and dairy farms have culled livestock, same with pig farms, because there is not enough hay or grain to feed their animals. It may not be everywhere in the US, but it is more than half of the US. Some farmers last year did not even plant crops because there was no point - no rain, totally dry soil, nothing would grow. This year we've had a long winter and very odd, cold weather way into spring - again, affecting so much of our growing ability. I appreciate how you did your research - but you are not taking into account what the conditions are here in the US right now, you're reading what is "expected" or what was in the past normal. We no longer have a grain store in the US for emergencies. Obama sold it off in, I believe it was 2009 but may have been 2011, would have to go look again. But he sold ALL our grain reserves...we have nothing to fall back on now. India is in bad shape with their weather and crops, they are keeping their grain in their country to feed their own people. Please do some more research on how the farmers here in the US are doing - not what the media is saying. I homestead. I live rural. Rural folks know when things are going to get bad because it hits us first before it hits anyone in the city or suburbs. When our hay goes up to almost double, when our grain costs are 2-3 times higher than last year - we know it's getting bad and prices in stores will reflect that, as will shortages of items. There are some types of hay I can't even get because it didn't grow this year and that affects how much milk I get from my livestock... And the grain prices! We sold off a chunk of our poultry because the feed cost is now over double what it was last year. Just in the past 2 months one bag of chicken food went from $9.95 to $21.98. Add in the high diesel cost to transport eggs to the store or how much chicken meat will cost now and eggs and chicken meat will be astronomical...unless the government subsidizes the cost. These are very practical things you haven't mentioned because you don't live a farming lifestyle and don't understand how this all affects the country and food... Research this, you'll get an eye opener - and not mainstream media, they are keeping people sleepy on purpose. Look into the actual farmers networks and get it straight from them before the media turns it head over tails into a national storyline. Hay and grain feed the country. We use grain for baking - but we also use grain at the farm level to feed meat and dairy animals, egg producers, etc. We are in direct competition now with our meat/dairy/egg producers for grains because we are below what we need to produce. Not just wheat either - look into beans, corn, peas, lentils, barley, etc. It's all down in production because of weather and growing conditions - not just lack of fertilizer. I don't advocate going out in a frenzy and stockpiling your house until you can't walk thru it - but I think people need to be aware some hard times are coming. My father lived through the Great Depression as a child and teen, my mom grew up on a very remote cattle ranch and went shopping twice a year - they taught me to always have ample on hand, and then more beyond that. My father said they had no idea what hit them, and then it got even worse and lasted for a decade. Today, we can actually SEE what is happening if we pay attention and think logically (follow the farmers, not the media). I do not think ALL food will be gone (that's not what they are saying - only the one person you talked about, most sources are saying shortages are coming, not 'no food'...). I think grain will become scarce, and other foods like legumes, barley, corn, rye, etc...everyone automatically thinks of 'wheat' but it is all of these really. When we look at livestock and poultry, which can't live without these foods (many of the grains and legumes, the stalks are used as animal feed, without the whole plant, we have even less to feed the animals) we can see why millions of beef, pigs and poultry have been culled over the past 2 years because farmers could not afford to feed them or couldn't get the feed even if they could pay. In my area, cattle ranches were selling each cow at a HUGE loss financially last fall because they simply couldn't get hay or grain to feed them over the winter in the hopes of a better harvest after spring crops came in... This is very similar to what happened during the Dust Bowl when cattle ranchers had no feed, couldn't get feed, and their cattle literally starved to death. The government actually had men go out in trucks and kill the cattle when they found them in those conditions. Today, ranchers sell and go broke to at least get meat to the market for human consumption - but it isn't much different, because of lack of food for the livestock. Food SHORTAGES are coming - not 'no food'. There is a huge difference there. I would love to see you focus on that, and not the misnomer that 'no food' is coming based off of one person's statement to a global entity... Why focus on her statement??? SO many other statements out there on the shortages... I feel you're seeing a small picture of what is really happening out there, and relying on media info to guide you. You seem happy about the white wheat - but you don't know the difference between the different types of wheat...that's just one small example. I love your channel, but I think you're way off here :(
Tara, I thank you for not spreading fear and panic. Some channels seem to build off of that and I think it's a shame they use that to build their channel, and not so much to help people. Let's trust God, and use common sense folks. God has got people through worse things. It's recorded in the Scriptures to build our faith. He LOVES YOU, and won't forsake you. Thank you Jesus!
Fear are for those that don't trust King JESUS CHRIST. No matter what it's coming. Fear will help nothing but GOD can do a lot with a person that puts faith in Him
What is being completely missed is the trucking situation. Parts are almost impossible to get to fix the trucks, gas at an all time High. When our truckers cannot makes deliveries the country will shut down. Prices have already doubled or tripled on items. Our country does not produce or manufacture much. Buckle up, we are in for a ride. We haven't seen anything yet 🌻
Thank you for calming me down and taking a step back. One year( or a bit less) of food in my pantry at ALL times, just rotate, rotate and rotate. I really have no idea if I have 1 years worth, but it sure looks like I may be close. You have calmed my heart and put me in the:Wait And See, mindset.
@@joshuaatkins5197 It is the stress of the CONSTANT, I am so tired of the vigilance required. I have enough: but get more. Strong though. I will continue. I am weary.
I bought a bread machine and 20 lbs of flour just in case the prediction is even 20% accurate. I think the US government is conditioning us to "expect" to go without.. whether it's fuel, food or power. One thing is for sure, it will get worse before it gets better. To what degree, is the only real question.
Hope you are making bread with it and using the flour. Flour doesn't have long term shelf life. Storing in a freezer in air tight container helps. Flour can pick up any food odors and also freezing will kill any flour weevil.
We did the same here in florida. Good Bread prices are ridiculus and we have been making our own now. I like to knead in bread machine and then take it out, remove paddle and bake in oven. It comes out so good. I don't think we will ever buy store bought bread again! The taste of homemade bread is so much better then store bought!
I welcome your clear headed non panic video. I will say though here in North Dakota where I am, it’s been too wet and most farmers can’t even plant yet.. if it doesn’t dry up soon they won’t be able to plant at all. I think there will be a shortage but how bad? Who knows. Being prepared and not having all your eggs in one basket is helpful! Blessings!
I have friends in the middle east. They can't buy meat! Also, they are only aloud to have 1L of gas each person (it's extremely expensive and you have to line up.. no amount of money will allow you to fill up your gas tank! ). My friends say that their electricity is on for 1 hour spirts 2 hours each day. Internet is only on when the electricity is on! They can't buy milk products and live off the vegetables they grow. All they buy is necessities they can find and everything is expensive!
Yeah but these you tubers are making a ton of money off these videos right now. Especially the videos with titles such as this one. THAT is the only thing for certain right now that is for dang sure
I keep hearing about food shortages, but here in NM, there may be only 1 or 2 items on my Walmart pick-up that are out of stock. I'd say that's pretty good.
There could be a lot more out of stock than you think, because you are only able to order online what is supposed to be in stock. If it is already out of stock than they won't let you put it in your online cart. If you are able to buy what you have always bought past, than you are doing really well.
I see that here a lot in NYC. Then here comes a big a&& supplies of stuff and NOW THE SHELVES are over packed. So much for the 70 days issues. We are good for another 90 days.
Russia has agreed to allow the grain from Ukraine to be exported as of yesterday. What you are looking at are PROJECTIONS by the USDA. Unfortunately what the farmers are actually getting planted and what will be harvested are going to be a major shock to everyone in this country. We will definitely see price increases and shortages in all of the basic staple grains here in the USA. Unfortunately the ones that will be hurt significantly will be the poorer nations that rely heavily on importing the majority of their foods from other larger countries.
I don’t believe the UN was talking about the USA. I believe they were speaking about how shortages will impact poorer countries who import wheat because they can’t grow enough of it. (Think African countries) They are already experiencing painful shortages and cannot feed their families. It’s very sad to read/watch about.
I strongly didagree with you. People need to stock up and be prepared. Extreme shortages where you are may not be BUT did you see that the world is producing wheat but it can not get to the masses who need it. I think you are a far ways off with this and everyone needs to take heed because were are already in a famine. Stay blessed!
It wouldn't let me comment on the last one. So I commented on another video. Panic does no good for anyone. Keep doing what you do. Common (or not so common) sense.
I agree the government is trying to force a change that no one can afford. I know I will never be able to afford an electric car. Everything has gone up in price, and no salary hike to help curb the pinch.
Just did a random stock up trip at Meijer. They had some strange limits. Limit 4 on big lunchables Limit 4 on bacon Limit 4 on libbys pumpkin organic pie filling Limit 2 on libbys pumpkin pie filling Limit 4 on del monte pears halved cinnamon light... are the limits I saw. Keep prepping ya'll, stack it to the rafters. I am in the Midwest.
@@stephaniemeads Do you have any news articles of that happenj g? What part of the country are you? Maybe it is a regional thing? There are no limits on anything in my area, except formula. Tawra, I follow other channels who are either homesteaders, farmers or both and they are saying they have had to raise their price of eggs to almost a $dollar an egg. Not only that but they aren't able to plant as much as they normally do because they can't afford the cost of fertilizer. How do these facts play into what you're saying?
I am a farm lady, North Central Oklahoma is looking to have a very poor harvest this year, many farmers I know, are looking to not have enough a harvest. Just a note,
Agreed, but with a caveat. We know that many countries are not exporting wheat now and there are underdeveloped countries that are going to have a very hard time because they won't be able to import wheat. Our idiot in chief could very easily send our wheat to them. Look what he's done with baby formula. So, hopefully it won't happen, but with this administration, any freakin' thing could happen.
Is it possible that the UN's statement was intended to cause panic? Panic causes fear and so people react by going out and buying wheat based products and therefore depleting the stock in the stores. People see the empty shelves in their supermarkets, which gives rise to more panic and fear, and so on it goes. Perhaps that is the intentions of people like the UN diplomat.
We will have a new harvest this summer, but I think most of the storable food will be hoarded by different governments, organisations and even just regular people. This will cause us to run out, not whether we grow less or not.
I prepared regardless… I have 9 kids to worry about. The good news is that I don’t have to grocery shop as often now if nothing happens! Lol 😂 Praying for wisdom from God.
Blessed Bears. Wow you are a legend caring for 9 kids. There are 7 ppl in our house 4 children. Are you growing anything? I find growing just our greens helps a lot.
Interesting that there’s more data-based information available from UA-camrs who do their own research, than there is from legacy news sources. Keep up the good work!
Because the truth doesn't sell...it's the click bait and fantastical headlines that bring in the paychecks. Politically it keeps us all distracted, fearful hence stupid about what's really going on
@living on a dime to grow rich you cannot get an accurate number of wheat that is available for human consumption by looking at only the final production numbers. They are a completely innacurate assesment. You HAVE to look at the quality of the wheat. Wheat that is only for human consumption has to be rated good or better in quality all the rest is used for animal feed. I do not have this weeks AG info yet but recent prior assessments is not great. There is far too much wheat that is NOT rated good or better for human consumption. You will get a lot of this from this years crops due to lack of enough fertlizers and poor growing conditions. The wheat crop quality this year is not ok. And also the wheat that is growing well does contain less protien that it usually does due to lack of enough fertilizer. You cannot just look at wheat total tonnage. California produces a lot of vegetables for the country. There is a record drought that has caused water cut off to many farmers. The fuel prices to run farm equipment to delivering to the local store will cause many truckers and farmers to not be able to afford the fuel costs to run thier businesses. There is far more involved than a very simple assesment of total wheat tonnage. Id do a lot more research far deeper than just the total tonnage. When the leaders of many countries, The UN ect. have warned of impending food shortages and or famine I think id listen up.
Agree! I don't think we will run out of food by then and yes our government is doing everything in its power to destroy the USA. We just need to remain calm and stock up in case of an emergency (very similar to saving for an emergency fund) Love your flowers 💐 ❤️
Whether or not you agree with what she's saying, you at least need to listen to what she says before you can say you disagree. We all have the ability to watch a video and take what we can get from it and/or respectfully disagree and move on. I tend to be somewhere in the middle of whether there will be shortages and whether it's all hunky dory out there. And if I don't agree with Jill, I move on. It's ok. If you want to go out and purchase 100 bags of flour, good for you. If you only buy what you need every week, ok. You do you.
My mom and I are also preparing & stocking up on things in case something does happen. I don't know what the future holds, but hopefully with our preps we can withstand most situations. God bless you and your family for all you do for your community.
A cucumber here in NZ $6.00 each, and other fruit and veges are so expensive but also do not last for days like they did...squashy, go off too quick nowadays...ah!!! Thanks Tawra...
I could definitely live GF. And I'm not allergic. If people are worried, watch some videos about surviving in the wild. Research what you can eat. Learn about safe options. Mother nature provides, even if/when our farmers & manufacturers can't. Even if "THEY" are controlling the weather. Are "they" going to kick me off my property because I have an artesian well? We can still grow our own stuff. Even indoors. Research research research. We can live without meat. All we truly need are fruits, veggies, and protein. Protein from legumes. Iron from spinach, fungus, etc. R E S E A R C H .. and find out if and how to grow our own grains. Build a pole barn and get to work. Hire someone to guard your supply. Put alarm systems in the barn. Electric fences around it. etc.
And what do you think your cattle, chicken, pigs, etc. eat? Grain, stalks, wheat......keto followers need to know this... *Grass fed beef is not just pure grass. With weather manipulation, droughts, fuel & fertilizer costs, growing food & therefore livestock becomes a hardship for all, incl "Keto followers"..... specifically reply to "Debbie C" who commented "it's called grass-fed".☀️🌧🌱🌾🐄🐃🐂🐷🐖🐏🐑🐐🐓🦃
The poorer nations in the region & Africa are the one's suffering because the Ukraine/Russia are their major suppliers. Wheat is a problem because most of these countries eat some form of bread with every meal.
I'm excited to see what July brings. Each month they say something different. I'm prepared. I'm not seeing things as bad as some are saying yet. Some prices at the store are a little higher but there are still sales & deals to be had.
Every time I order delivery, the driver comes in a luxury vehicle (just today a Lexus LX came by the house). Then I learn auto loan defaults have jumped by 50%. With gas prices rising every week I can’t see anything good coming from it.
I believe you're right, Tawra. The food is out there. Food shortages are being created. I do believe we'll start to see some shortages at the end of the growing season. We may experience lower yields because farmers are reducing fertilizer amounts, some are not even planting this year.
@@fionaj3093 Yes, you're right. As a farmer, I can tell you it's very difficult out there. Some farmers say they're throwing in the towel at the end of this year.
I don’t pretend to know what’s coming but something is going to have to happen to the wheat production to make a loaf of bread cost a “ days wages”. Some nations are keeping their harvest for their own people and some just aren’t willing to do business with the US
100 food facilities in the US has burned to the ground in the last 6 months and my farmer friends cost for farm has increase 8times… this is a manufactured famine…
I disagree...I buy the same things as I have for a long time because of my son's food allergies and about of stuffing is up a whole dollar from last year. Several foods are up 20% or more.
I think we should donate to farmers out of pocket $15 dollars a person would help. If 3,000,000 people gave $15 dollars a month thats $45 million that could go back into crops. But if we don’t work together we won’t survive
America is not going to have a wide spread food shortage. We are having intermittent supply problems but they will correct themselves eventually. The US only imports 10% of its food and a lot of that is fish. We have more than enough crops to supply us. What we will see however are price increases because of fuel costs. Crops from our 500 acre farm averaged 40 miles travel. The answer is to buy local. I understand fear sells, but I wish people would stop fear mongering.
I dunno. Two weeks out, I don't think the UN has timed this right. We have crops in the ground and we will have a harvest. I prepped for problems as many did. I think more people are prepping now than ever.
I must say I appreciate you looking at the numbers and encouraging everyone to not panic. I think that's a wise approach. I tend to take what the farmers and experts say then weigh it all and go from there when deciding on how much to get in times like these. We never really stick piled until the pandemic hit. We believe in climate change and that good government practices can help us all. I just wish us stupid humans could learn to work together. Use it up
Where it out
Make it do
Or do without
Still should be done today, but alot is throwaway that can't be repaired 😒 it is purposely made that way.
My Grandparents used that little rhyme (or something very close).
Speaking from a farming community. You will be suprised at what is NOT growing. The cost of fertilizer/Diesel shortages, crop devastation from the crazy freezes we've had. Stock up!
Absolutely 🥺
Tornadoes flooding hurricanes mudslides and droughts in this country and others....STOCK UP!!!

This looks like a manufactured food crisis. Same as the baby formula shortage. If we have food shortages, it will be by design.

Not to mention, the dozens of food factories burning up left and right. Mass die offs of cattle and chickens.

What you don't factor in is the processing and transportation issues we are facing. Cut ANY link in the chain and it all breaks.

Not to mention most farmers aren’t farming this year.

From what I understand, it’s next year’s crops that will most impacted by the lack of fertilizer and the insane price of gas/diesel. Getting in the habit of stocking up and rotating through what you buy is the best way to get prepared. It needs to be a lifestyle not a one time stampede.
💯
I agree… I can live without wheat..

Hey… I’m originally from MS. My home sweet state!
Some is ear marked for export unfortunately.

The President? ByeDone lost.

Well said, and agree. "Be prepared, not scared", hard to apply discernment
Yes!
I've already bought a year supply, but we're not going to run out of food in 70 days. Good grief, we're about to harvest. Shortages and skyrocketing prices are the problem for Americans, not starvation.
Fear pron, but we should still buy more food to beat inflation.

Prices here used to go up a quarter ..now a dollar or two
As a former truck driver, I would say that a factor that will weigh heavily is: distribution. Supply chain issues regarding various crops happen to play into much of what is happening and needs to be considered. If some social issues suddenly appear, along with rising fuel costs, it could get bad. That is not fear, it is fact and should be seriously taken into consideration. Especially when the government is warning us.
That 40% food wasted in US homes is pretty important. Use what you buy. Don't waste it.
This!! 🙌 super important! I am trying to get better at this too
I always buy hot dog buns for the grandkids when they visit and end up tossing a few when they leave.
@@vickieharris3850 Yes, I couldn't agree more! throwing out good food is true wasting the chance to make sure everyone can eat safely and well.

If fertilizer has tripled or quadrupled and diesel is going up it will be more expensive later. You need diesel for tractors, trucks, ships, trains! And we are shipping it to Europe!
Stocks tanked because people are spending less there and more on necessities. When companies make less they layoff. When laid off, you spend even less! Business dont make money and close. Snowball.
I don't eat wheat, so these wheat issues don't bother me a bit! 😁

The one factor you’re not looking at is what the US exported. Last year alone China purchased 6 times the amount of grains it normally does. Have you factored that in?
Ya they knew what was coming. And Trump gave them some kind of deal on it. Gee thanks! Give all our food away, so frigging genius 5D chess!!! 🤡😡
Yeah I was thinking about exports as well. With Ukraine unable to produce and export due to war and Russia picking and choosing whom to help that leaves a heavy weight on other countries to pick up the slack. Cargo shipping is a mess. I can foresee problems for sure. China did as well.

But that's part of the plan to ruin America.

Thank You Tarra I appreciate this video. I have stored up 6 months of almost everything and 1 year of cat food. When I went to the store the last time on Friday I got $20 of food again and a voice said that is enough!!!! no more fear and I said out loud to embed it in my heart.
Wow… I’ve been hearing that inner voice too. I keep feeling this inner nudge that it’s okay… no more fear!
Yay..I have started eating mine instead of buying more..peace about it
Priscilla, that’s me too. I’d rather suffer than to see my cats starve, so their food and water pantry is a bit disproportionate to mine. I finally have also heard that voice: “You’re good now. Start consuming some of that, and have peace of mind.” And I do.
Crazy I can’t afford all my meals in a week. I work hard and picking between bills and gas leaves no room for food.
@@archer8597 wow!! Good on you. I might look into that. Might be able to grow a$10 lettuce 😂😂😂 All the best to you.
How much control China has on the plans is kinda scary
Let's get real. Some of us could cut back on the bread. I know I should! 🤣🙋♀️
🤣🤣🤣
With prices of cookies, candy, ice cream, potato chips, etc. I'll probably will lose the weight I've been trying to lose for years. I should send thank you cards to some of these companies.
Honestly I believe some are engaging in price gouging, and/or restricting inventory. Either the producer, and/or retail stores. I trust corporate America as much as I do any government, which is none at all.
Yes!
But good bread is so yummy! 🤪😝
I love your channel, but I think you're way off here :(
Good info, but my goodness that could have been a novel! 👍😁

This is happening here in the United States of America 🇺🇸

Is it possible that the UN's statement was intended to cause panic? Panic causes fear and so people react by going out and buying wheat based products and therefore depleting the stock in the stores. People see the empty shelves in their supermarkets, which gives rise to more panic and fear, and so on it goes. Perhaps that is the intentions of people like the UN diplomat.
Wouldn’t surprise me. They are not good people at thUN

Your Patio is gorgeous 😍 and I agree with you on everything. But I'm stocking up just because of prices

Whether or not you agree with what she's saying, you at least need to listen to what she says before you can say you disagree. We all have the ability to watch a video and take what we can get from it and/or respectfully disagree and move on. If you want to go out and purchase 100 bags of flour, good for you. If you only buy what you need every week, ok. You do you.
