It's interesting that an impact does drill work without the drill chuck. Kinda like a hybrid of the two tools.

Exactly like a hybrid between the two. Very useful tool along with the Milwaukee M12/M12 Fuel versions. Def some of my favorites. The dewalt is much smaller/compact/lighter but is lacking in power when compared to the M12. Stand alone power is good in the Dewalt, only when compared to the M12 would I say 'low' powere
