Fun fact, the wildfire vehicle at 3:55 is not a 'knock off' land rover, it's actually a rebadged mercedes G wagon.
Yes, that's right. It's called a Steyr-Puch Super G.
@@scousertom0388 'Super G' being a UK fire service specific designation for it.
@@LondonEmergency999 I thought so.
@@scousertom0388 Everyone else refers to them by model numbers like the 230 lol
@@scousertom0388 after all, those Austrians gave Mercedes the chance to make a true competitor to the Buick/Rover 214 powered Range Rover and the O.G. Defender. And Mercedes is still making those "Gelandewagens" in 2023, but in a more luxurious way.
It definitely was a manic day and so many good catches that day as well
Brilliant video!!! Love the inclusion of the radio comms that BBLV doesn’t like!!! ❤
Lol now that's just being childish 🤣
@@BucksBlueLightVids just taking the piss mate having a bit of fun, all meant friendly
Fantastic video and great to see so many fl614's still on the run albeit in reserve.
I told you 2056 times!
That is racist since 2023!
Some Fantastic Catches there Jacob, Great Work 👍🏻
Amazing video as always mate.
Awesome footage!
Amazing video!
Lovely Catch!
Great video thanks
Nice one, liked your video 🧑🏻👍🏻🚒
Amazing vid
Interesting to see how the turnout for a brush fire looks English fire services vs. what we have here in California.
We’d call the 4x4’s “Type 6” units over here - generally a medium duty truck like an F450. Ours tend to have an extended cab to allow for 3-4 crew members, though, to fully staff the truck.
I was surprised to see standard fire trucks responding, though! We call those Class 1’s, and generally avoid taking them off road since they don’t have a high ground clearance, but even our “Urban” engines have more ground clearance than the ones shown here. Honestly wish we had more reasonably sized apparatus here in the States, but that’s an aside.
The lack of aircraft was also interesting, though California is an outlier for having such a large airborne firefighting response on standby all the time. But, for a fire this size you’d see aircraft on scene within 20 minutes at most to try and contain the spread until hand crews and bulldozers could get in to build fire breaks.
In the uk we dont have a “routine” air response to brush fire , there is a mutual aid agreement leant to the civil services by a neighbouring military through the NATO partnership, but as a civil emergency service the UK has NO ability whatsoever to fight fire from the air.
like your vids, liked and subscribed!
Just curious who was the pickup with the white body and red doors on it?
Christ they earn there money ❤respect❤😊and thanks to one and all of them❤😊
What a Vid!
Even had MDP there wow.. question - you ever caught anything of ESFRS (East Sussex)?
i Have caught Uckfield turning out twice in Feb im back down in August as well to catch some more.
Not yet haha
I've caught Seaford - video on my channel
I’m pretty sure this is the first u tube catch of Bordon turning out from home station
Yes i believe it is along with most of the other bits are also a first haha
What’s the personal hygiene unit, rehab, portable wc or showers? We don’t have them in the states
Where are you looking?
Just portaloo chemical toilets
Brilliant vid well put together very good 😂😂😂
Is Borden retained?
Yes it is, pump, 4x4, water carrier and a co-responder
Are the white cars at 9:32 and 10:22 volunteer firemen?
They are fire officers
Hampshire have amber lights incorporated into their Lightbars. Does anyone know the thinking behind this?
I assume Ambers are the brightest colour and more visible
Our cop cars have code 3 excalibur lightbar, amber at lower and blue lights on main dome and amber appears to be more brighter and visible than blue or red
They are LED excaliburs btw
@@thunderbear0Thank you for your response. It has been proven that clear (white) light is the most conspicuous of all. I can only imagine that, given that you cannot have forward facing red lights (in the U.K.), then amber serves as a ‘warning’ colour.
There is also a significant amount of air fields within the responses for these stations pictured, there is Southampton International, Farnborough International, RAF Odiham, Blackbushe Aerodrome (the target of many aircraft “accidents” well known to the stateside viewers” etc within a very very small overlapping foothold of these arriving stations. Whilst the. Comments about amber and visibility are correct the option with hants, like many of Hampshires other emergency services were to incorporate beacons for airfield use as standard, notice the neighbouring Surrey stations, some from only 1.5 milrs away for not have them
Surrey fire and rescue just wanted to be involved
I LOVE England Fire TRUCKS IN THER COOL TO AND I LIKE FIRE HOUSE TO 👨🚒🚒
3:47 bloody brilliant 2 tone air horn better then the modern whaler type sirens
Could someone have lit the grass
Sick!
Sick?! Is that the most intelligent and appropriate thing that you could write?!
@@heli-crewhgs5285 Yep, hope you enjoyed spending time commenting that 😂😂
Raddy, ddy, thank you this channel, this weather is brighter, cooler and windy, nice to hear the rtythm, volume, sound around this location, may i know how many vehicles they using, what types of vehicles, if vehicles truck cannot be using, what types truck to replacement, how many staff are they in the station, how many fire fighter station in this location. Bless whom involved in duty with stysafe, styhealth, take care, be careful where ever on duty any location. Good luck, sty maintain with fit senior2 service staff fire fighter. Thank you this channel.
You either need to rewrite this, and stop using strong medication prior to going online.
Why aren't they responding with sirens?
No idea unfortunately however I aint complaining about getting the 2 tones and the bullhorn from Bordon P4 and farehams water carrier😅
Already a large staging and I take it the road wasn't too busy the times they weren't on blues
