🎉🎉🎉ok. You have convinced me🎉🎉🎉 I subscribed 😂😂😂😂😂 I want all vids about tomatoes from seed sow to overplanting to harvest❤❤❤ Greetings with respect from grandma Sam
Here in 9b Texas, it's our *nothing's growing* season (In the extremely humid subtropical part~a lot of people don't know, but Texas isn't all dry!) My first rounds got hurricaned, but I'm starting seeds for my fall/winter batch of tomatoes 😊
I was in Texas briefly in December 2023 on a road trip, never been during the summer. Did not realize some parts are subtropical. Good luck with the second batch!
Right on. I agree with you on everything 100%. I stop nitrogen as soon as I see fruit start or July. I prune only the bottom. There is no need to prune.👍
I buy composted manure bags from Home Depot for $2.67 each then make a tea to water my 7-foot-tall tomatoes! Get a 5-gallon screen filter from the paint store and use a 5-gallon bucket to screen out the mud. Then use the mud as a side dressing. Cheap and it works!
Hi Lucas, such an informative and timely video. I forget to feed the plants during the summer and will do so asap. I automatically think plants are thirsty when they wilt, so will do as you advise. Thanks for the excellent info. and looking forward to new videos and the always awesome garden harvest 🌻🍅🌶And yes - having fun!

Hey! Thanks so much! The truth is I haven’t had much luck with LED grow lights. Not sure what it is but the seedlings seem to get purple and develop poorly until I start hardening them off.

My top tomato growing tip - don't grow them. I don't like them. Another great video from Lucas though!
What is the fertilizer that you use and where do I get it from please and thank you
Miracle Gro Bloom Booster 15-30-15, you can likely find it at your local garden centre!
Very informative!
Do you add the water soluble fertilizer only to the base of the plant or do you add it to the entire plant including the leaves?
Just the roots, leaves shouldn’t get wet ideally!
Where is your tomato tshirt?
Love your videos. Thanks
I'm trying to come out with some gardening t-shirts, stay tuned!!

Awesome! I have a row of peppers, top secret for the moment 🤫
What causes yellow plants?
A variety of factors: low nutrients, excessive/inadequate watering, old leaves, etc.
@lucasgrowsbestyt I have some spotting on my leaves. Alsonon my actual fruit. It is making ny leaves look yellow and drya
