If you’re a guitar geek (which I am), you absolutely love these unscripted conversations between old friends...who happen to be massively talented...and famous. Thanks for letting us listen in.
I'm fan of Chris since 1980's. I got all of the albums. When I'm alone in the house and try to find peace, I'm listening one of the Chris albums and it brings me a peaceful mood. I hope he will do lots of new albums and be healty and handsome for long years.
MET Chris on a boat to Catalina Island, I think he was playing for a funeral..I was playing a club in Avalon..Chris is a super nice human and so was his manager...
I seen Chris at a show at Pine Knob in Michigan, They were playing on the ticket with Bonnie Rait. A memorable show for the my lifetime. I still remember this show over 30 years later , whenever I see Bonnie or Chris doing a appearance somewhere, it just automatically comes back to me , All I can say is thanks for this memory.
This is such a great UA-cam channel. There’s really nothing like it for people who love guitars and guitar music makers. Shanks and Chris Issack just by accident. So cool
What a great get together. Stories are great! I remember reading back in '90 or so Chris had a place by The Great Highway and would surf every morning, like 7:00! Also love the mention of a Magnatone. Only had an Esty era 1- 12 amp in the '70s but i miss it every day.
Just love this kind of stuff. Came here through Take That. Thanks John for the Circus. I appreciate listening to talented people share their thoughts and stories. Wonderful!
Hey guys norm Mr sanks man I love Chris Isaak I remember the first time I heard Chris Isaas music I loved it so much I went on vacation to guralahara mexico I remember hanging out at the bar in the lobby of y hotel room even night and I had the dj . playing my Chris Isaak CD.every night the crowd in the lobby lied the music as well
@@AB..__.. Never! Paying the guys for listening to a conversation? That would seem weird, but acceptable. But UA-cam... As long as they censure free speech like Goebbels at its best? Never! Not a cent.
When I was 17 in Jamestown NY on a 4 week road trip , a couple came in the club and she started stripping as she asked me to play the strip beat on the drums I was sitting at ... when the owner's wife started heading our way ... we all scrambled and she got dressed in a hurry ... close call ...
I see it's bring your talent agent to work day at Norm's, so uninteresting to most. You should post this on your pay for play channel, that's where all the money is.
@@wesleyAlan9179 well it seemed they were a little too close, but i don't care one way or the other, just seemed like the bromance was a bit uncomfortable for me.

The Chris Isaak show was killer
❤What the pretty guitars and the colors too, piece of art!

I could watch this all day
Chris is just one of the best people.
Ponytails can't ever come within a ounce of class and talent as what's on the couch now. Thanks Norm for your postings!
The singer was a punk. Wouldn't even sit up for Norm.
It was the BEST TV show!
Cheers🍷
What a wonderful informative talk. Learning more each day. You'll are amazing, the guest, amazing.
That was my favorite so far just because of the stuff Chris said.

Sorry I opologize I meant Mr shank's
what a great find! for me
Love Chris Isaak
Very cool. Thanks, Norm and Mark.
This is great. We know they are professionals, but they are also just regular Joes. Good talks
Finally a real song man in the house!
John Shanks appears to be the everyday nice guy but you can tell he's a real Boss who knows his stuff.
That's history in the making. Great record.
Enjoyed it Norm
So funny. Thank you for sharing this.
Good stuff, interesting to hear. Chris... how can you wear a watch on your right hand as a right handed guitar player?
Very cool 👍🏻
OMG, it`s agent Chester Desmond!
Very interesting to be a fly on the wall
I really like it mucho!
Hey Norm, please let me know when Chris is coming back😘
Mutual love in .. pleasure to watch
Very cool.
"seventh ,minor, major dimished". Someone call Ricky Beato or Adam Neely! Funny stuff, guys.
I love you man! No, I love you man! yada yada, I love you man! No, I love you man. But, I love you man!
@jon golden. yada yada yada yada. LOL!
First Song ----Yada Yada Yada Yada Yada Yada.
4 guys + 3 guitars + 17 minutes = no songs played
steven189111 Good stories though! 👍🏻👍🏻
If you say so?
You should ask for your money back.
More like 850 guitars....what a shame.
He didn't go to the store to entertain us. So what are you saying they shouldn't have filmed this.
Who is the guy that is sitting to John Shanks right? Chris did not even shake his hand?
finally .....part 2 lol
Nice!
Cool
hey...I worked at Grossingers...
Part#2 before part #1?? I hope we at least get to hear some gee-tar playing in part one!
Spiritual Atheist
LIMBO MAN
PART 1 ALREADY HAPPENED
Our only hope is part 3.
The funny thing is Barry Manilow didn't write "I write the songs", it was Bruce Johnston. Or was it just "Music" that writes the songs?
🖖
Schwung Kastor is the guitar
My money is on Shelby Lynne.
Chris said I'll do anything but I'm not going to sit on that couch.
poopy brown couch.
Mark just wants to jam
Loved this. But I dont think John Shanks finished one complete sentence.😁
You must not have been paying attention. He finished his sentences. Just saying....
Chris looks like a lefty playing righty guitar. (Like me). Watch on right wrist is a giveaway
He signs autographs and draws with his right hand, though.
Awe shux! 😲
they're acting like they're surprised they got a camera setup filming at the whole time
A bona fide rock star.
Hahahaha..... Finally!
Unlike the ponytail dudes from the other day that just thought they were rock stars.
That’s a Nolex Watch & a Chibson.
The Jimmy Stewart of the music biz
Really enjoying listening to these guys, but the ads every 4 to 5 really suck! Stop it or we will stop watching
That's free UA-cam. Pay and they go away.

my amp goes to 2, that's more than 1.5. Its more more.
Second!

Over 1500 people aren't 'watching this shit'..... LOL!
I cringed when Isaak sank into the arm chair with that guitar. Worst chair for guitar backs. Love this conversation, though.

No play no watch
First!
Being first second or third only means we have no life.

Shanks is very very bad..
Someone take that guitar away from Mark. He thinks he’s a star. He’s not
OK, so those guys can’t play and they came up with a pretext to play weasle out of the camera. Laaaaame.
this is boring, these guys are not interesting ,what's the point of this video ?

What? .....some fellas sittin' around, shoottin' th' shit and strummin' some old guitars?
