sound's good, doesn't work.. It will be a dead card most of the time, bc fatigue warrior often runs only 2 blood razors as their only weapons.. Even if you add a gorehowl or something, it would be way too inconsistend, so I think this card won't see play at all, at least not in standard constructed..
I just want to say I think Brian's hosting felt super professional and I legitimately think it made the card reveal so much more interesting with some of the discussion he dig into as opposed to other streamers past hosting of just going woooow what a cool card!.. what's next?
I'd wager that the mage copy is either Spellbender, Manabind or Counterspell with some rouge specific deviation. For example mix Manabind with Frozen Clone: Get two copies of the cast spell. Or change the target of the spell to a random one which would be similar to Spellbender. Or similar Counterspell, when your opponent casts a spell destroy a random enemy minion.
Its like someone told this guy to keep forcefully smiling as wide as he can no matter what or his family dies. It doesn't seem friendly when its fake, its grinding.
by guess is, that either it doesn't work because it is not a "choose one" but a "choose twice" OR it lets you pic all three twice...in which case it would be absolutely broken.
I'm going to craft King Krush to do a Carnivorous Cube, double play dead OTK. That could become viable considering you need 8 mana, 3 cards, and 1 minion on board. I think memers will have fun with that combo.
Tom Kuiper charged devilsaur could can go face after it is summoned by the cube as its battlecry isn't triggered, Leeroy is probably the best way to do a combo like this though
They are not changing it because recruit is gonna be for this expansion only, and they don't feel the need to associate Y'shaarj with another expansion. I also think that thematically (beccause Y'shaarj a massive old god and not an adventurer reading his party) it is fine for him not to recruit things but instead just forces creatures to fight for/alongside him.
They have specifically said they won't due to thematic reasons (the unfathomable eldritch monstrosity isn't heading into the instance finder to recruit some buddies for his dungeon runs)
question 1: If a rogue has the betrayal secret up and the opp only has 1 minion, does it trigger? question 2: The shaman weapon (runespear), if you choose an overload spell, are you overloaded?
So was Brian told that roads were going to have secrets in advance? Because I'm pretty sure he's mentioned before and videos of his and on stream that he's color blind
Would level up! be a passive ability? Where it's like an upgrade, so if you cast this on turn 5, and then hero power on turn 6, would the SHR be a 3/3 or 1/1
Runespear is so bad they spent 90% of the review of that card talking about other Legendary weapons. If it cost 2 less or had 5 durability it might, MIGHT, be playable in Standard, for Arena it has some potential as is.
Do the spellstones have to be completed in one turn or can you, for the sapphire (Shaman) one, or can you upgrade it using 4 mana 7/7 one turn and lightning bolt the next?
A more viable question is if you Hero Powered 3 turns in a row with the Druid spellstone while it was in your hand could you upgrade it? I just use overload shaman because I am low level and it is fun so that is why I asked about that in specific.
I thought it was at first glance, but hearing them talk about it here made some sense - Shaman actually does have a number of good spells that don't target at all, so it might be able to set up some crazy scary stuff while also actually not being a big risk. Like, you could just go face with this and board clear your opponent for 3 straight turns., or just finish them with bloodlust. Competitive play might be a long shot, but I wouldn't count it out altogether.
Go Dragon Army!
Pinned by hearthstone? :0
Go Ozz
Harrison Moder when your comment is just that good XD

Stupid Carrot the hero we need but not the hero we deserve
Stupid Carrot Thanks :)
Seems a carrot is not so stupid after all, well done
Thanks baby :-)
The true MVP
I loved watching Kibler babbling trying not to say this weapon is HORRIBLE (talking about the runespear)
*THAT BELONGS IN A MUSEUM*
lol why would you play 5 mana 5/4 that counters 8 mana cards, when you can play scalebane? xD
*Hall of fame*
ChoPirateTeh WE WILL SEE MUCH OF HIM!!!
Gotta love Brian Kibler!
Mithril spellstone is probably going into Dead mans hand / Fatigue warrior, because you could possibly just shuffle the best version over and over...
Wormy good thinking
Oh god why
Make warrior great again
sound's good, doesn't work.. It will be a dead card most of the time, bc fatigue warrior often runs only 2 blood razors as their only weapons.. Even if you add a gorehowl or something, it would be way too inconsistend, so I think this card won't see play at all, at least not in standard constructed..
We might see an evolution of a dead man's hand - control warrior birthed from this card and others in the set.
Now I want a video of that voice actor recording Feral Gibberer sounds.
It's not the same without the epic Ben Brode and his laugh. His laugh makes it satisfying.
I just want to say I think Brian's hosting felt super professional and I legitimately think it made the card reveal so much more interesting with some of the discussion he dig into as opposed to other streamers past hosting of just going woooow what a cool card!.. what's next?
I wonder if the third Rogue secret will immediately send an opponent's minion back to their hand after they play it
Maybe "after your opponent plays anything, he draws all his cards, then discards them"
Maybe the last rogue secret is "ice block but it returns to your hand."
Oh maybe it will be sending the minion back to hand plus negating the battlecry
I'm calling that it gives your hero stealth after you get attacked.
I'd wager that the mage copy is either Spellbender, Manabind or Counterspell with some rouge specific deviation. For example mix Manabind with Frozen Clone: Get two copies of the cast spell. Or change the target of the spell to a random one which would be similar to Spellbender. Or similar Counterspell, when your opponent casts a spell destroy a random enemy minion.
well done blizzard, you didnt leave the 20 minute preroll on this time, thankyou
i miss when Ben Brode laughing Frodan's head off at every card reveal before expansion
I miss ben brode laugh during this video
Why did Gibberer instantly remind me of Koribu (spelling?) from Yugioh?
Wormy if youre talking about Kuribo, then I have no idea :P
Because it is Kuriboh.
It made me think of a Critter from the cheesy 80's horror films.
Eh, they reminded me of the Fuzzles from Oddworld
Two furry small dudes I guess
Why in the world isn't the level up sound effect that of leveling up from warcraft and wow?
Indeed.
wild recruit paladin is going to be nuts
Branching Paths potentially the coolest druid card ever made.
I like this dev guy :)
Drinking game: Have a shot for every "yeah for sure" from Peter Whalen.
For the Dragon Army! Dragon Priest is back!
15:12 When Kibler says this is interesting, that meaning the card is bad.
I really hope the HS group gets that the AI is going to need a boost to make the dungeon run work. I am still very exicitrd and hopeful.
Does branching path work with fandral? I'd figure not
Did somebody say [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker] ?
Its like someone told this guy to keep forcefully smiling as wide as he can no matter what or his family dies. It doesn't seem friendly when its fake, its grinding.
It’s good to see that Hearthstone is getting dungeons *and* dragons.
did someone say thunderfury blessed blade of the windseeker?
Nop!
[Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker] ?
Apparently they said [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker]
Giberer with rouge quest
also could work with hunter quest
Gibberer vs mage/druid/rogue hero power = gg
Phoenix Wrong only one card still have a whole deck
This guy's a doctor of mathematics probably operating with some genius level intellect.
Anyone know how fandrel and branching paths work
Fandral says "Choose one effects" and the new card says "Choose twice", so it probably doesn't work.
Borde that makes sense
dont work
Tyler i was thinking about Fandrel aswell but thats a really good point Borde....i believe u have solved it
by guess is, that either it doesn't work because it is not a "choose one" but a "choose twice" OR it lets you pic all three twice...in which case it would be absolutely broken.
How does branching paths work with Fandral?
dont work
I️ hope it doesn’t work
Fandral only affects choose one cards. This isn't a choose one card.
Yessss.... rogue secrets
I am going to just LOVE to play Feral Giberrer xD
I'm going to craft King Krush to do a Carnivorous Cube, double play dead OTK. That could become viable considering you need 8 mana, 3 cards, and 1 minion on board. I think memers will have fun with that combo.
good idea
Tom Kuiper
You can't play King Krush and Carnivorous Cube at the same turn and King Krush will most likely die after it's played
if you can stick a corpse widow for one turn you can play charged devilsaur and carnivorous cube in the same turn
Charged Devilsaur can't go face, so I think Leeroy or King Krush would be more effective.
Tom Kuiper charged devilsaur could can go face after it is summoned by the cube as its battlecry isn't triggered, Leeroy is probably the best way to do a combo like this though
What does blizz have against Shaman?
Did kib mention [Thunderfury, blessed blade of the windseeker]?
So how does Fandral Staghelm work with this new Choose 2 mechanic?
ArchCon Designs it doesn't. Unless they change him again he will not interact with this card.
The artwork were done by fans not by the designer
Why was Kibler not salivating at the mere thought of Duskbreaker?
Is the Y'Shaaraj card text going to change to at the end of turn recruit a minion?
i think so
They said that it won't. Not sure why though.
Maybe because it's gonna Rotate out of Standard by next Expansion? That might be the reason.
That Mithril card might make Tentacles for arms viable now, maybe. This is just me thinking out loud
nvm its only 3 times
2:19 oh that's nice, when you die you can start over again and when you win, you can start over again. great reward :D
Yogg-Spearon
Will staghelm work on choose 2 I wonder
wow 4-drop deal 3 dmg to all other minions...WOW that is crazy powerful
How will Fandral Staghelm effect Branching Paths?
It's not technically a "choose one"-card, so it won't get any added effect?
For sure !
Gibberer rogue quest or whatever quest that turns your minions into 5/5
You forgot to show mithril spellstone in game :/
Glad they're keeping rogue at a high skill ceiling
29:25 -- He just clearly stated the sentiment that has led to Classic WoW
“I hope rouge didn’t take ice block” - kibler
Do the spellstones need to be in your hand to upgrade?
Rick Gastly Yup
Yeah, for sure.
YEAH, FOR SURE
I love Peter he is so enthusiastic and happy sounding :3 maybe even better than Ben Brode
question 1: If a rogue has the betrayal secret up and the opp only has 1 minion, does it trigger?
question 2: The shaman weapon (runespear), if you choose an overload spell, are you overloaded?
Would have been nice if rogues had the 4 mana secrets.... would love to see op secrets
Perfect casters to reveal cards! They have such a good chemistry♡ but a few too less cards ^_^
Rogues should've been in the original 3 secret classes. I know paladin needed it but still.
Control hunter HYPE!
If they reveal more cards like 'crushing walls' then prepare to be dissapointed.
Kiblers facial expression in the thumbnail xd
NONE SHALL PASS!!
7 3/3 taunts...
Did someone say [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker]?
17:09 did someone say thunderfury blessed blade of the windseeker? ;)
Buffadin, meet feral gibberer
Kibler is awesome!
Secret Eater is the new meta.
So was Brian told that roads were going to have secrets in advance? Because I'm pretty sure he's mentioned before and videos of his and on stream that he's color blind
Would level up! be a passive ability? Where it's like an upgrade, so if you cast this on turn 5, and then hero power on turn 6, would the SHR be a 3/3 or 1/1
IDK My name! A 1/1. It’s a buff to existing Recruits on the battlefield, not permanent.
I would have loved Gibberish if it was a 1/2. It will never multiply if it has 1 health
0089321 would be too good imo
You can buff it in your hand or on the field and it retains the buff
So does branching paths + faendal have some interaction or nah?
Anyone knows how long the pre purchase is going?
When's the next reveal?
Kibler makes me question my sexuality.
EDIT: wait Kibler is colorblind? BibleThump
Erasta l don't question. Just enjoy.
Runespear is so bad they spent 90% of the review of that card talking about other Legendary weapons. If it cost 2 less or had 5 durability it might, MIGHT, be playable in Standard, for Arena it has some potential as is.
Kibler was great
Secret Rogue?
Branching paths Gain 12 armour
Do the spellstones have to be completed in one turn or can you, for the sapphire (Shaman) one, or can you upgrade it using 4 mana 7/7 one turn and lightning bolt the next?
Tom Kuiper they said during stream that it needs to be in your hand when you do the action that levels it up.
I know that but my question was if I could overload 1 mana crystal one turn and two the next turn and still upgrade it.
A more viable question is if you Hero Powered 3 turns in a row with the Druid spellstone while it was in your hand could you upgrade it? I just use overload shaman because I am low level and it is fun so that is why I asked about that in specific.
Tom Kuiper yeah, stays upgraded, these would really suck, or possibly be impossible if they had to be done in same turn.
The runespear is trash
MYSTICAL GOOSE well you have higher change to discover shaman removal like volcano and storm and devolve, and bloodlust and evolves for your board too
Hope they add some big shaman spells
So far all the legend weapons in this look like trash.
Its reperation for 2016, year of the Shaman
I thought it was at first glance, but hearing them talk about it here made some sense - Shaman actually does have a number of good spells that don't target at all, so it might be able to set up some crazy scary stuff while also actually not being a big risk. Like, you could just go face with this and board clear your opponent for 3 straight turns., or just finish them with bloodlust.
Competitive play might be a long shot, but I wouldn't count it out altogether.
The dungeon run better have some rewards at the end, otherwise where is the intensive to keep playing it
2 cost secrets... for rogue... I sense a sad prince
" " " I HOPE THEY DONT STEAL ICE BLOCK " " " HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA
Dear Blizzard,
Duskbreaker. Why?
oohlala444 Riperooni
Cheat death: hey keleseth..... hey buddy....
GameTheory 345 Cheat Death is 2 mana though.
Next DLC murloc edition mrgrrrgrr and city of underwater in Atlantic
MyLoudestFapOfAll!!
I found Day9 far more engaging and excited about the reveals than Kibler is. You've lost the Plott
Feral Giberrer reminds me of a gremlin
is kibler really color blind? 0.o i never knew this even with all the time watching him from mtg
Will the shaman weapon overload you ?
Roger Smith yes. You are still casting the spell. Although with blizzards consistency it's hard to tell.
dont think so , you dont overload then ur using the turtle or yogg
I don’t think EZ big EZ warrior will work. Warrior has some vital early game minions.
Must suck to try and act so surprised.
"What? A dragon... really?!"
Hmm
Brian kibler? more like feral gibberer
Is Blizzard pumping the room full of laughing gas before they record?
ridiculous amount of cards in standard now
4 mana 3/3 cast hellfire
the feral gibberer seems broken and is yet again a 1 drop :P like blizz c'mon
Choose twice? Where is fandral?
