Oh my God, I literally had this exact same convo with my husband last night! How people who play the Sims, Fortnite, and Minecraft aren't considered to be "Real Gamers." Pfft, whatever. I like my Sims.
My boyfriend kept telling me I don't play games...I just play simulation style games...prison architect, sims, Minecraft...grr

I have gotten this IRL conversations a lot. People get all hyped talking about video games, ask me what I play. When I tell them it's Sims most of the time I can see the enthusiasm leave their face. It happens to a lot of us.
The gaming community has a lot of toxicity. Especially towards games which are considered more "feminine".
I play sims, pokémon and mario a lot. I get called gamer baby a lot ;-; I also play fortnite and uncharted, mortal kombat, bayonetta and god of war. I just prefer those games over killing videogame characters ;-; Now leave or my mewtwo is gonna yeet you with psychic...

Okay, I know you just renovated this mess (again) but I wonder if the stair update would help fix the layout issues in sooo many of the base game houses but especially the Goth house.
Also, THIS is the living room Bella deserved, finally it looks as good as it was aspiring to be.
The magic pack might have a few things that help as well, but that'd be another whole renovation.

My grandparents have a small pond down at the bottom of their garden with a small stream running through though it has lots of algae because my step-grandfather had been ill and he has been showing signs of getting older (he’s like 78-82) so once they gardener stopped coming they haven’t been able to keep it clean as easily

coming from someone who used to be addicted to competitive overwatch- “real” gamers are literally some of the worst people i’ve ever met with the absolute worst grip on reality and what’s important imaginable. so like i can’t even imagine going to one of those events and dealing with that in person. i honestly can’t touch online competitive games anymore even to play casually because the communities are so toxic
Bro same. I have really bad anxiety and my hands would shake when I played competitive OW so it was hard to aim or think, and the “real gamers” would just yell at me and just generally be awful to play with (especially since I’m a girl and half the time I would be harassed before the game ever started because I should be sucking dick and making sandwiches, not playing real games). I love OW but I just cannot deal with the toxicity of people like that. I really hope that the gaming community improves and learns to be nicer to each other. It’s definitely possible to be hyper competitive without being an asshole.

I feel like people look down on Sims because they think it "doesn't take skill". Like, they should try to take care of the 5 stray cats that I couldn't leave sitting on the park bench.
you're probably not gonna read this but remember how you had your sister build a house and then you renovated it in fixer-upper (amazing video by the way) it would be cool if you and your brother did the same thing cause you said how you installed sims on his computer. So the new update came out today and I WAS SO EXCITED FOR THE STAIRS OMG! Sadly I have no one in my life that plays sims so I couldn't fangirl today as I played all day. It was amazing and the stairs..... Pure gold.

The Goth house is so hard to renovate I've done it about 25 times since the Sims 4 came out and I finally got it a month ago
