Tried skiing for the first time in my life in Trysil and I can say for sure that it’s a great destination for first timers. Lots and lots of variety and a good difficulty curve. Felt like I learned a lot in those three days. Made me want to come back big time!
Informative, but the in/out style of the images makes it difficult to to watch. That said, still very good information that has pushed this enthusiast to research further. 👍
We actually just released a better and updated version of best ski resorts in Norway. Top 5 Ski Resorts in Norway | 2023/24 You can watch it here: ua-cam.com/video/hKyJ6An5hnM/v-deo.html
Many greate places r here . Trysil , Hafiel , Geilo . But Nr 1 its Hemsedal . Greatest slops and you have some oportunity to do after skiing 🙂 disco , spa restaurants . Other places its nothing to do .
Gausta is amazing, great slopes and loads of posts powder. Take the train to the top of the mountain and ski powder back down. I've skied in all resorts mentioned, all are perfect to learn and the Norwegians are lovely people.
Geilo is not even a top 10, short slopes, lower end snow conditions. Hafjell has a weird layout, long lines, mediocre snow conditions on the bottom half... overrated. Trysil is the best for family and mid skill, Hemsedal is the best all round... if you are experienced though there are only one, Kvitfjell. Exellent snow, long steep slopes.
Good information, but it’s clear that the narrator knew nothing of skiing, as his pronunciation was quite off (or was this an AI?). It would have easy to add things like ticket prices and “how to get there”. The video editing was awful, too dizzying.
Im going to trysil evry year for 7 years its The best BUT he did not show The hausse on The maunten its so fun to live in one of Them ITS THE BEST TRYSIL❤❤❤⛷⛷

Oppdal should definetley be on this list being that it is the largest in area. 3 different slopes on one ski pass
Myrkdalen and Oppdal is definitely missing here! 😮
I live i Hemsedal!
Such a cool place, lucky you!
I love Norefjell
no Norefjell on the list? I’m really excited to go skiing in Norway (hopefully) next winter
Narvik (Narvikfjellet) is without a doubt the best skiresort in Norway. Also featuring upcoming WC-Downhill.

The after ski in Hemsedal is definately great!
Debetable "guy from Geilo" ;) :P
I like going to Hovden
Gausta is amazing, great slopes and loads of posts powder. Take the train to the top of the mountain and ski powder back down. I've skied in all resorts mentioned, all are perfect to learn and the Norwegians are lovely people.
Norway is amazing! Which resort is your favourite in Norway?
i think the first one is trysil.
Hemsedal is definitely number 1. Much better nature, area, and slopes than Trysil, and overall just a better ski resort
And it’s getting 30 more Km of runs
And the off piste is actually much better than in Trysil. They have got it wrong in this video.
Yes. Only problem is the conditions. But when it's good it's amazing
Hovden is number.1. For parkskiing
Too cold, too expensive!
Geilo is not even a top 10, short slopes, lower end snow conditions. Hafjell has a weird layout, long lines, mediocre snow conditions on the bottom half... overrated.
