I purchased a mold from Amazon and watched your video, My mold is head of a little boy and this video help me so much now I can start my project is for my classroom . Thank you
This is great. It would be great to recreate and test this with the more expensive molds that are out there. I am sure, if done right, it is much more cost effective. Great job! Love it!
Your video is just right, no hems and ahhs or giggling etc from going live. I really appreciate that. I have now subscribed and look forward to watching your other videos. Keep up the good work!
Whenever doing a mix of part A and part B. You should always put part B first, and part A on top. Not sure why. But that is what I have been told by different companies.
That is interesting. I was following the instructions on the product doing A and then B. But if it works better for you definitely keep doing it that way :)
Thank you very much for this demo and for your your advice during it. I wonder if it's possible to make a mold of a container with a handle e.g. a tea cup.
Hi! Thanks for watching! When making my own mold I've been eyeballing it since it is a new container. You could try to fill the area with water and then measure how much water fit in the area to help estimate how much silicone you need :)
Great video thank you so much!!! Would you say that it is durable like other more expensive molds? Like 300 uses as an example? Thank you Kayla for all the videos and your content!:)
Hello! I've been crafting silicone molds for my customers and noticed varying behaviors in the same brand of siliconeI use platinum based silicon. While previous curing times difered-ranging from 24 hours to as little as 3 hours-they never affected the resin outcome until now. Recently, when the silicone cured within 3 hours and I poured resin into it, the silicon lost its shine upon removal of resin from the mold. This unexpected issue has me deeply concerned. Any guidance you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
That is a strange reaction. I haven't experienced that before but I'll keep an eye out and let you know if I do and any advice I may come across :) thanks for watching!
Good video. Question though. After using my silicone pot mold three times for my wax luminaries I started to get lines on the outside of my wax afterI demolded them all the way down. Any way to prevent that? I’m pouring into a warmed up mold. Not sure if you’ve personally used them for this purpose.
I let it dry a bit after using it and then the concrete just pops up as I fold the bowl left and right. I found this to be the best and get out most of the concrete. I don't ever have any issue with anything getting into my new batch if I do it this way :) If I am doing a few different colors in one go (ex one black, one blue, one white) I'll do white first, then blue, then black so the colors get darker as I go and they won't affect the next color. Hope that helps!
Good video, very helpful. But please please please stop with the horrible background music. It is distracting when your talking and no offense against you but the choice of music is horrible…. Idk what it’s called, it used to be called techno.

Very great job done, thanks a lot dear. Can the silicon mould gel be gotten on the market?
Thank you very much for this demo and for your your advice during it. I wonder if it's possible to make a mold of a container with a handle e.g. a tea cup.
That would be a cool project! The handle would need to be thick so it doesn't break easy but that sounds really nice!
Thank you so much for a great video. Is there a way of estimating how much silicone gel you will need so you dont make too little or too much?

What would you use to seal the inside and outside of the concrete vessels?
Hi! I actually just did a video today -

Could you use a dremell
I haven't tried a dremell on the containers yet. But you can try! :)
how do u clean the bowl with the concrect in it? and how since it is so stained when u use it stuff dosent come of into the new batch
