Great video Frank. I've done replacing these lens before. I find that heating the hole assembly in the kitchen oven works best. So preheat the oven to 130 degree Celsius and place the headlight in for 9 minutes. It's softens the glue just enough. But I suppose polishing is easier. And it can be done with the bumper in place. It's just one will need a da polisher.

Hey Frank! You can put the headlight in the oven to warm it completely up and you can remove the cover this way. There’s many tutorials for other car makes and models with silicon sealed plastic headlights.

Haha yeah I’m too scared to put the electronics and all those other materials in the oven too!

Polishing is temporary.
Add an UV resistant clear coat and it lasts for many years.
