So if I was looking into putting a putting green in my backyard in the Northeast (Pennsylvania) what grass would be recommended for putting surface and frindge?
All greens in the PNW will eventually be overtaken by poa. During the Open when the greens were mostly fescue one of the issues was the infestation of poa. Rather than fight the poa CB management made the decision to sod over the greens and make them pure poa. A grass that thrives in western Washington. The original structure was sand based and that was maintained.
Great video. Tons of information and well spoken. Thanks!
