Drew, Thanks for pursuing the options and resources out there for people with the X32...this is where Behringer is winning...supplying their users with resources to use their equipment well and educated. Thanks for covering all the effects. Have really been blessed by the videos.
Great videos as always Drew, thank you. I assume you are reading off of something as you are not looking down the lens. May be worth looking at its position as it disconnects you from your audience when your not looking down the lens. I'm a TV guy so I may be the only one picking up on this. Great work though and sound WAY better now, which is good considering the topic of your videos :)
Hey Jon! I actually have a lazy eye, so my left eye does its own thing and always looks to the left. I think might be what you are noticing. I do have a monitor to the lower right of me to show what the above camera is showing, I will typically look at that when I am adjusting things, but I cut that out when mixing the videos. I am SO happy with the new microphone, much better result than the old tube mic I was using. Thanks for the comment!
To be honest, I was thinking of this very thing today. It would cut out a good portion of the time of the video. I am trying to make the videos shorter, so I have been strongly considering this. Thanks for commenting on that, giving me more of a reason to do that!
As a suggestion make a routing video then link it in as a card or annotation at the start of each effect video. That would preserve learning hierarchy and let the video about the effects contain only information reliant to the operation of the effect unit. In other words the routing video would be a prerequisite for each effect video.
*sigh* another pointless effect on the X32 which is basically just an EQ preset! Too many of these, you just can't afford to waste the FQ slots on these things when you only have 8 to play with. Just replicate it on the channel EQ as much as possible and save the FX slot for something else! Great video though Drew... just need to get onto some of the more "fun" effects :)

another great video drew and no horrible room reverb to keep them coming.
Thanks Lorna! The over the ear mic is SO much better than the tube mic I have used in the previous videos!
Another helpful vid thanks helping me get to grips with my Compact 32 which I just bought more vids like these man.
When do you do videos for delay and reverb?

+urjenn1 Yes! Finally purchased a new microphone.
as part of the learning hierarchy do we relay need to be retold every time this is how you insert the effect into a channel?

Companies like Yamaha have them in their super high end products... so yeah..
