I really appreciate your efforts in helping and educating us about agricultural production. Please I have a question, why are the flowers on my tomatoes fall off before maturity. As a result the tomatoes do not bear fruit. Please what is the solution to the problem. Thank you
Thank you very much.. okay firstly tomatoes plant requires a lot of different nutrients throughout it's life cycle.. at the flowering stage of the plant give it nutrients that will enhance flowering and fruiting n give it enough water along with the nutrients given to it .. at flowering stage I use tecamin flower or agrovert high in phosphorus or any NPK micro nutrients high in phosphorus and along side the flowering agent use calcium & boron this will mainly retain the flowers on the tomatoes plant and turn most of the flowers if not all the flowers to tomatoes fruit.
Thanks for the insight, please I’d need clarification on the agrovert, how frequent should I use it? For example the 20 20 20, do I use it every few days, every week or every 2 weeks before flowering stage. Same with the rest. Will appreciate your response
Thanks for your comment.. the agrovert or any foliar fertilizers should be used at least once in a week on the tomatoes plant through out the life cycle of the plant or till harvest period and agrovert is not the only foliar micro nutrient fertilizer available, they are alot of others too .. and aside using the agrovert.. u should still give the plant NPK fertilizer in the soil .. cuz tomatoes plant are heavy eaters of nutrients
@@oyebolaadepoju8798u should use it at least every 2 weeks or 3 weeks .. I use it every 3 weeks cuz of the cost .. every 2 weeks is best but every 3 weeks is not bad also .. d quantity.. u can use a 5-10 ml spoon 🥄 per plant
Thanks
No problem
