I was a part of this group and the first to speak here… India is a great country with rich culture, AMAZING people and the drive to succeed! I loved my visit and will be back. Thank you MEA, thank you India! ✌🏻
Amazing indeed! Tim, you are very welcome any number of times again as India is too big to explore with way too many complex cultures, traditions, etc. Just too much to experience. 😊
My take is that many foreigners still associate India with outdated stereotypes-thinking of it as a land of poverty, snake charmers, and limited awareness of its rich history. Most only know of the Taj Mahal as a grand monument, without understanding the depth of India's heritage and ancient civilization. Thanks to Dr. Sreeram and Doordarshan for bringing these influencers to experience firsthand how India is progressing through their unique perspectives. While India is still developing, and there are areas like sanitation that need improvement, the country has made significant progress. Challenges such as rapid population growth, resource constraints, and insufficient planning have contributed to some difficulties, but India is far more than just the Taj Mahal. India is a land rich in culture, knowledge, and thousands of years of continuous civilization. As the host rightly mentioned, no other country can boast such an extensive cultural legacy. Our civilization dates back over 5,000 years to the Indus Valley Civilization, with advancements in art, astronomy, mathematics, medicine, and philosophy. India was home to the world’s first university, Nalanda, which at one point hosted 10,000 students from around the world, showcasing India’s influence on both the Middle East and the Far East. Despite our rich history, there is still much to be done. However, with over 500 million young people, India holds incredible potential to achieve great things with the right education and resources. India is not just about the Taj Mahal, there are countless other monuments, temples, forts, and ancient technological wonders waiting to be explored by visitors🙏
@@rakhimukerji7937 I understand that while India still faces challenges, including the concentration of growth in big cities rather than rural areas, significant progress has been made in technology, infrastructure, and education. With a young and dynamic population, India holds immense potential for future development. I hope the wealth gap will be closed soon.

Such a fresh topic and discussion. We also need to bring Negative anchors from news media like tucker carlson etc and the negative talkers in social media people here in India and conduct a debate with them to analyse and learn and teach how India can improve what India really is to the world.
I think if they come to the Northeast india region I'm sure they will surprise most because there is no region like Northeast india region in India, the best of the best beautiful scenery, culture, history and humble people.
Oh i follow, Poul. He is very good. He has accepted India's rich culture. Rich, poor, good, bad, different colours, smell, aroma, languages, caste, creed, different religions etc.. I have seen a lot of his videos.
Beyond the PR.. need to talk about the shortcomings. Why are Indians disliked/ hated outside outside India ? IS THE big question? How much is Indian media responsible ? Only diplomats are not responsible for developing a good image of the country and the people.

What is the ranking of India in the fields of high-speed rail, renewable and clean energy, quantum computing, smartphones, 5G and 6G, electric vehicles, public infrastructure buildings, military power, universities rankings?
How can such a discussion be fruitful without critical evaluation. I think it's just one side of seeing India, the anchor ignored the other side. ( The long debates going on around the world about india is that it is a country lagged behind many basics needs, developments and infrastructure.)
Please ask the comparer to talk less and let interviewee talk. He should ask them what brought them to India. He should not air his opinion. Very boring to listen to his presentation. Please change his style or change him.
this is embarrassing to say the least, show some shame pls !! 800 mil people are dependent on govt low quality ration ,infra is crumbling (dont show me skyline of mumbai, show street view of any such skyline the myth will be busted), people are undisciplined and rude and stare at people unnecessarily , not a single good social habit, lack of hygiene at almost everywhere , gdp pci is 2700$ !! people are living like livestock ,there are absolutely 0 redeeming qualities

It is a land of poverty. And groping. And lack of hygiene. And massive inflated ego. Don’t forget phone scammers.

Yes it's so intriguing that we lend, or perhaps give alms of 4-5 billion dollars to a bankrupt country......how ironic 😅😅😅
The anchor doesn't know how to present.
How can we ourselves boast about our own country. Format of this show is Inappropriate 😠
Gosh you don't have to translate English to english...let's hear their honest perspective!!
