Stormy has really grown form this, this is considered as UK Grime music. The godfather of Grime is a guy called Wiley, a couple years back Wiley and Stormzy got into it and led to a very entertaining song called still disappointed. Other UK grime to check out are Akala, Ghetts, Giggs, Skepta and Wretch 32
@@manlikemark9641 I am more open minded on most things than others, like people can do free speech around me without issue, just I have to be careful what I say around others as they not so open minded or get triggered easier than I do, like with that people not need a filter when talking about anything to me but I have to put one on for others
I spent a big chunk of lockdown watching people react to Stormzy's diss track Still Disappointed which is absolutely hilarious and was addressed to Wiley (former King of Grime)
It's not hip-hop or grime but there is a local (to me) Highland band called Peat and Diesel. The song Western Isles. went viral and they almost got sued by Justin Bieber. They are good and nothing like you would have seen before. Stormyz big for your boots is brilliant too.
Check out dave live at the brits 2022. He has learnt how to play guitar as well as the piano. The song is in the fire. U reacted to black at the brits 2020 by him
Loved this reaction! Definitely check out more stormzy. One of his response to someone he did was amazing, and is another famous one. Can't remember what it's called but would love to see your take on it!
Yeh since you're delving back intoUK hip hop, you NEED to finish your Akala fitb journey, you've done part 1, now there's 2,3 and 4 left, plus his part in the 2014 fitb cypher 👀🤷♂️👏💜
You want some great British music that is from one of the smartest men in the business.. Akala fire in the booth.. He will take you through some history/politics.. Including events from the US..
Stromzy comes from a place of reality and truth about life he has experience and his work is gritty but has social commentary and awareness ..he is a true music icon who is pushing the envelope
Great reaction guys. Just FYI, Stormzy is referred to as a Grime artist, rather than hiphop. I'll let you do your own research on the origins if you so wish.
I have accidentally seen a bit of stormzy at Glasto haha but I do quite like him although I am a rock/metal fan - yous might like blinded by your grace because that is a very different stormzy tune and it is boss Also should do big for your boots! And stormzy is a boss person hahah
If you want to see more stormzy and want a taste of the grime scene culture of ‘sends’ or ‘battle raps’ you should have a look at his back and forth with Wiley from January 2020.
Love hip hop but more a fan of early days de la soul etc.. Would love you guys to check out the beautiful south.. Old red eyes is back big English band from the 90s.
I personally would love to see you react to more uk rap, if you enjoy it or like learning about it. Don’t do it just for views though if you’re not into it. Respect 👊🏻
I love how you guys clearly appreciate his talent and art form but stopped short of saying "meh, not really my cup of tea" hahaha. Keep up the good work, also check out Vossybop
You mentioned that you liked stormzy because you didn’t have to work hard to understand him. Other UK rappers with good clarity, I’d recommend Skepta or Dave. Skepta is more Grime and Dave is more storytelling. For storytelling there’s also Cadet. One of the best storyteller rappers. RIP Rapman is great too. Basically makes UK street short movies with rap in. Shiro’s Story and Blue Story are both series of his on UA-cam. If you like those, Rapman actually made Blue Story into a full-length movie that was in the cinemas here.
Avelino is one of the smartest right now. But gir pure entertainment and jaws on the floor try some Pete & Bas..not gonna give anything away just search them on UA-cam you’ll see…
GUYS YOU GOTTA REACT TO A BAND FROM AUS CALLED DMA'S, MASSIVE IN UK AND IRELAND AND THEYRE THE BEST THING GOING SINCE OASIS IMO... MY FAVOURITE BAND GOING TODAY!
Technically this is Grime not Hip Hop, , grime actually came out of Dancehall and Garage and although influenced by Hip Hop its not really hip hop, it has its own evolution, Grime is at 140 BPM, hip hop is usually at 80-90 BPM, also the beats and samples are usually quite different its hard to explain but you will hear it the more you listen to it. To me its very different, but then I am around it so

You're both so naturally funny you don't know it. Very wholesome well done on the reaction
Wow!! Very surprised to see a reaction to this from you guys!! Love it ❤
U guys appreciating Stormzy, love it!

Akala, Devlin, Wretch 32, Avelino, i could name loads of fitb that is insanely good
@@bradders9743 each to their own brother.
Michael Jackson had more talent in his little finger than all the grime mcs put together.

As a massive fan of rap I wouldn't listen to Stormzy if you paid me lol but appreciate the effort !
Speaking of Cockney, please can you react to Chas and Dave, a' Rockney' duo who we Brits love.
Stormzy is great, big for my boots is a must. Listen to Rin guys he is next level.
refering to Stormzy as hiphop made me laugh so loud! Its considered grime btw, love your content.
Have to say it, I would rather go deaf than listen to that.
This Man is a UK True Legend, he has used his own Money to send disadvantaged Youths to Cambridge University, the UK= of Yale!!!!😱
Black youths because he is a RACIST BLM SUPPORTER!!
If you wanna go even further British, take a look at old skool underground grime if you haven't yet! 😁

Its grime music not hip hop
He stole the instrumental for this. And btw most Brits hate this song
Stormzy is just ear abuse. How anyone can call that stuff music is beyond me.
