A little update: You can sign into another person's switch with your Nintendo account and download your games onto their Switch but you have to deactivate your account on your own console and activate it on the other person's console and vice versa when you want to switch back. Additionally since there's no cloud storage on the Switch, your saves aren't transferred over. Pro controller still uses digital triggers as well.
I'm definitely not picking one up at launch. I can't believe there's no pack-in game. That's a deal breaker for me. The price on that pro controller has to come down too. Some of the games look good, and i'm sort of interested, but not enough to plunk down my money just yet.
C Hardy I wouldn't worry so much about games because I feel like if the Switch is as big of hit as the preorders are it may be hard to find one at Christmas. Plus Arms comes out in April or May and Splatoon 2 comes out in June
its 11 months since you posted this comment, i did what you did I waited till december/january 2018...I just got mine 2 months ago loving it (cause theres far more titles now) still just the first year, and its not perfect (then again no game or no device is perfect) but im really liking. its my default system atm & prob will be for quite awhile.

I think we will most likely see the handheld games move their way over to the Switch in due time. The reason however I am not compelled to buy a Switch until at least 2018 at some point though is I think it will be awhile before we see them. As far as games in general I can't speak for everyone but right now I still have 45 Physical games unique to the 3DS I have not finished to play through, I can't even name 10 games unique to the Switch I want that have been announced as of yet (Keyword being yet). I learned my lesson from the Wii-U and while the Switch concept interests me quite a bit and I do think we will see many of the 3DS installments make their way to the Switch I'm waiting for it to happen rather than the future promise of it being so.

One of the many under appreciated features of the Wii U was being able to look up walk throughs if you got stuck, without ever putting the gamepad down or grabbing a different device. sure ot took ages to load lol but was still pretty convenient...

The thing with quick charging is that the Switch already draw 30W+ power when charging. So you can't compare it to quick charging in smart phone. No quick charging charger out there for smart phone even provides enough power to just charge the Switch at regular speed.
Great video! Just one thing is that you shouldn't of used videos of you playing Mario kart and splatoon because other people will think those games are available now. Other then that this video was great!

they should have just made it a new handheld and ported all 3D's games and older Nintendo content and all the new stuff coming in the future and they should have added a glass screen not plastic and at least 150 gb of space I'll just wait for the second version to come out but awesome review man!
Not sure if they could add it with an update (doubt it), but quick charge allows for faster charging on things with USB-C ports, like my Nexus 6P for example. The Nintendo Switch does not support it.

Hi Luis, I've been subscribed to you all the way back since you did a video on holidays 2013 gift guide, you answered my question on if I should get a wii u on holidays and you said yes and told me the system was really worth the money, I even got the wind waker hd version (which is my favorite zelda game) now I come for your aid once more. I live in Honduras and in here the console retails at around $600USD but there's this game store that has a pre-purchase that goes around $478USD but the last day to pre purchase is tomorrow, after launch its gonna retail at around $600 too. My problem is this, I really want the switch but if you add zelda its gonna be around $530 dollars and that's a lot of money. I'm currently 18yrs old at college and I don't work, my mom is willing to buy it for me😂 the deal is this, should I buy it at this price or should I wait for nintendo to re-stock their units at amazon or gamestop so maybe I could import it over here. Sorry man but have to disagree on it having a strong 1st year line-up game wise. Sure you have a couple of good first party games which will inevitably draw people in but their 3rd party support is still disappointing at best. People talk about Skyrim, a game which a lot of people have played to death by now, as a good example but what I'm still failing to see is a commitment to new upcoming 3rd party games. Nintendo desperately need this if they want to be replace the PS4/Xbox One as peoples main console - perhaps they don't intend to but then I would question how many people can afford multiple consoles (bearing in mind also how expensive the Nintendo peripherals are).

It's a good system but it is a NEW system! So if you buy it at launch you have to wait for some things that others already provide! People go crazy for new consoles and they buy it without thinking about it . The reason they buy it at launch is that they can brag about it on UA-cam or to their friends. I will wait a few months and see how it progresses. But the switch is a good system
It looks more promising than any other Nintendo System launch in recent years so far, so happy to see that, but yeah, with any new launch. The system changes and usually for the better within a year's time. Xbox 360, is probably the best example of that.
I have a new 3adS XL and switch but I spend more time on 3DS cause I like all the games I collected 100+ games that I wanna Finnish do 3dS not dead for me but I still play on switch why not its nice but I don't use portable cause u can't replace easily unlike the 3DS so I use my 3DS for portable but both are brilliant :) nintendo never fail to please me

Weird! Who buys a video game system and feels surprised it plays mainly video games. If you want video streaming.... Use your damn phone or a tablet. Stop complaining about Netflix and what not as you already have devices to play it. If you don't, don't use that as a con against a video game system.
If you have a basic flip phone then you're reply would be valid but I bet you have a smartphone so use your already always on data connection to watch your Netflix, video streaming. So my arguments still stands. Nintendo built it as a gaming system. Smartphone developers build their phones for media in mind since call quality hasn't been improved at all and initially dropped when smartphones became a thing.
If you have a console from pre 2006 then your reply would be valid. Nintendo has built a gaming system, but a gaming system has become an entertainment system. Why else does the 3DS have UA-cam and Netflix, why did the Wii U have, heck why did the Wii have it?

It's already replaced my 3DS. Only planning to use it for the new Fire Emblem this year.

I'm 6,4 and the joycons don't feel small at all. The joycons aren't large by any means but they feel weirdly comfortable in the hand.

+6thsun25 Depends on the game but the TV has a max 1080p and the tablet is maxed at 720p
6thsun25 Zelda Breath of the Wild is said to be running at 900p 30 fps and Mario Kart Deluxe is 1080p 60 fps. Hope that helps.

It looks more promising than any other Nintendo System launch in recent years so far, so happy to see that, but yeah, with any new launch. The system changes and usually for the better within a year's time. Xbox 360, is probably the best example of that.
Personally, I don't care if there isn't a Netflix or Social Media, it would be great for on the go, but I have a TV and iPad for that.
I have a new 3adS XL and switch but I spend more time on 3DS cause I like all the games I collected 100+ games that I wanna Finnish do 3dS not dead for me but I still play on switch why not its nice but I don't use portable cause u can't replace easily unlike the 3DS so I use my 3DS for portable but both are brilliant :) nintendo never fail to please me

Weird! Who buys a video game system and feels surprised it plays mainly video games. If you want video streaming.... Use your damn phone or a tablet. Stop complaining about Netflix and what not as you already have devices to play it. If you don't, don't use that as a con against a video game system.
Who buys a phone and expects video streaming? It's used for phone calls! That's essentially the argument you're throwing.
If you have a basic flip phone then you're reply would be valid but I bet you have a smartphone so use your already always on data connection to watch your Netflix, video streaming. So my arguments still stands. Nintendo built it as a gaming system. Smartphone developers build their phones for media in mind since call quality hasn't been improved at all and initially dropped when smartphones became a thing.
If you have a console from pre 2006 then your reply would be valid. Nintendo has built a gaming system, but a gaming system has become an entertainment system. Why else does the 3DS have UA-cam and Netflix, why did the Wii U have, heck why did the Wii have it?
+Luis Alamilla because Xbox and don't tried to push that crap as well so Nintendo thought it was needed. The XboxOne wanted to be an all in one and look how that helped Microsoft. It isn't needed as every other device can access UA-cam, Netflix so the world be dammed a dedicated electronic device doesn't have Netflix. Ridiculous complaint.

I probably will not be getting a switch. You are basically paying 300 bucks for Zelda, Mario (much later), and a Nintendo NES and SNES emulator
