Thanks for the podcast it's the only thing that keeps me sane during these losing seasons. I would love a full podcast called 'how do we fix it and how long will it take?" I think stoney Keeley said on Sunday there's so many holes you couldn't fix them with five off seasons. Tell us the master plan and give us some hope!
We appreciate you tuning in! Wow, love Stoney, but that's obviously extreme! We will definitely have a bunch of episodes on how to fix this mess. Wednesday's episode should be a great conversation with Zach Lyons!
Good recap fellas. Good to hear Levis is still progressing. I stopped paying attention after the first fumble, and then switched to tv over to redzone after the second. Hard to watch such an unprepared team show up like that.
Aaaah, that first half was tough one to watch. It would be nice to see Levis in few more competitive matches before next season. Greetings from Serbia!
This game was maddening! Especially since I actually talked myself into having hope 😂 y’all hit it in the head with great points. I will say I was very surprised and encouraging Levis did not make bad decisions! Once the game was quickly out of hand I thought he would force the ball into places he shouldn’t and he’d have 3 weeks. Should at least have a fun game to watch him against the horrible jags defense
Spot on guys. The penalties are beyond frustrating. Is this something Cally will fix as he gets more experience as a HC, or does he just 'not have it'? Glad he will have a long leash - saw the comment elsewhere but fully agree - if he goes and it's another new offense, Levis will be set back again. Cally needs to sort it out man. Love it boys, Levis is the guy! ❤
Also, fully agree with Melo on Ernest Jones. Focus should have been on re-signing him - was more gutted to see him go than Hop and hurts more and more by the week watching these linebackers!
On Ernest Jones - I think he was on an expiring contract, and they were 1 and 5 at that point with Will Levis looking epically bad over multiple games. In hindsight, I wish they hadn't made that trade and considered re-signing him this upcoming offseason, but at the time, I didn't hate it. On Cally - this is his first year as a head coach. It's possible he just doesn't realize that you can't take a team's attitude / demeanor for granted - you have to do stuff to try to prevent them from coming out for a game completely flat, especially after an emotional win the previous week. We've had some games under him this year where we came out looking good, and collapsed in the second half - this was kind of the opposite. So hopefully this won't be a frequently recurring problem under Cally.
I thought they got good value back for Jones on an expiring deal, but re-signing him should have gained consideration. Certainly hope Callahan improves as time goes by!
Honestly, if someone told me in the summer that this season will be Levis and the coaches developing and picking top 10, I would have probably been fine with that
Good news is if Levis continues to play liked he is, the team can use draft capital on something other than the QB. That is what many of us were hoping for at the beginning of the season.
Suggest a show to put this bottomed out franchise in historical perspective. Can a recovery (division contentions, for example) be expected in 5 years. Detroit, giants, tampa, etc. Since titans have never won a superbowl, I'm concerned they are too bad an organization to matter.
All of our key coaches are first year. Both Callahan and DC should be much better in year two. Not sure that we shouldn’t replace ST and OC. Maybe some coaches with more experience?
This game and the lack of preparedness is what has me out on Cally. Sorry but this time next year we'll be talking about who our new HC is going to be.
I'm so sick of this Kliff cliff narrative. How are you so sure its that? Is it not the fact that Jayden Daniels has been recovering from a rib injury? Is it not the fact that Brian Robinson has been out dealing with a hamstring? Is it not the fact that the OL has been banged up? Or maybe the Commanders have simply been facing tougher competition these past few weeks? Kliff cliff is such a lazy take.
Tough watch, definitely blame the coaches for not having the team ready to play they looked confused out there. Also I hate to admit it but our defense might be frauds, hoping I'm wrong and they just had an off day and too many injuries but with how this special teams unit has been giving other teams short field position the yards allowed stat was definitely not indicative of how good we are as a unit.
Coaches deserve blame for not having this team prepared! The defense has a limited ceiling because the pass rush isn't good and they're not good at creating turnovers either!
This game makes you realize quick that any playoff run is out the window...the sooner the fan base can accept it, the more tolerable the rest of the season will be. Last week vs the Texans was our Superbowl for our pride and folks read too much into it... I like Levis' progress but not there yet to call him a franchise QB. He will need to go on a fast start next season to be convinced. The reality is that the remainder of this season will not tell us that much about Levis specially for the Titans being now in mostly meaningless games...for a lot of players , it will be about who can be decent depth moving forward...Kinda made up my mind who deserves to be a starter (please Re up NWI at all cost) ...a high draft pick at Qb or a better bridge Qb than Rudolph might be the only way to be sure that we have real competition at QB next offseason Ran and Brian are not going anywhere regardless of how the rest of the season goes...as long as Colt is gone at the end of this Tank-a-thon... Enjoy the rest of this season...
Oh, it definitely humbled us in terms of a playoff run! Sad they treated one game like a Super Bowl. Levis definitely needs to start fast next season and not hoodwink us! Ran and Cally get next season but could be on the hot seat in 2025...
What a letdown…. I had so much hope that we were going to run the table, but it just wasn’t meant to be.. not this year. I was driving to Buffalo wild wings to watch the game and on the way there I was thinking, you never really know what you’re gonna get with this team…. They could ball out and beat Washington by two touchdowns, or they could do what they did…. It’s kind of tough to figure out… It’s almost like there’s some Bermuda triangle energy or something… Kind of mysterious… Kind of hard to figure out why things are going the way they’re going… I really like Brian Callahan as a dude, I think it might be great to find a legitimately good head coach and then make him the offensive coordinator. I’m getting less and less convinced that he’s the guy… and actually it’s kind of the same issue I had with Vrabel… you’re not there to be buddy/buddy with the players… You’re there to be the head honcho! I actually had a daydream of them hiring a Marine Corps drill instructor to come in and drill the offensive line until they don’t make dumb mistakes anymore… there’s a whole higher level of discipline that needs to be realized for the whole team. I was super tempted to walk out on the game after the first quarter, but there were so many other good football games that were happening … this season is not waste if you just love to watch good football.
We also hope they'd turn a corner after the Texans game! This was a huge stinker. Definitely worried Callahan may be in over his head as a HC and is better suited to be an OC, but it's too late to undo that. Either he'll figure it out as the HC or he'll be fired.
If you gonna to brint the heat Coach Cally, bring the heat to Denard Wilson, at least threw a little shade his way. I didn't agree with the 10 out of 10 rating, they've been a good defense, the defense rarely gets any pressure on the QB in some games against back up offensive line last game.
Thanks for the great broadcasts Justins!
Appreciate you listening, David!
Love the talk show format for wednesdays, great content as always!
Glad you enjoy it!
Great show. I’m not a Titans fan but always enjoy listening.

We look like fools every time we believe! Lol. Levis performance was VERY encouraging considering the circumstances!

Next year will be crucial to the Cally experience! If he hasn't gotten better he'll be on the hot seat.
Ernest Jones could have been a long-term piece!
Titan down. Levis is getting better, that has to be the most important thing. Keep up the great work guys.
Titan down! 😭 We appreciate you tuning in!

Gotta get Mike Herndon on
We had Mike on in late August and he'll be back for sure!
This was on coaching, defense, and special teams.
Bang on!
Honestly, if someone told me in the summer that this season will be Levis and the coaches developing and picking top 10, I would have probably been fine with that
That's a fair way to look at this season!
Good news is if Levis continues to play liked he is, the team can use draft capital on something other than the QB. That is what many of us were hoping for at the beginning of the season.
Would be a great development! They can use EDGE, RT, WR

That's a great idea! Sometimes we see quick turnarounds, other times not so much!
All of our key coaches are first year. Both Callahan and DC should be much better in year two. Not sure that we shouldn’t replace ST and OC. Maybe some coaches with more experience?
ST is a no brainer. Holz isn't going anywhere. Hopefully Callahan gets better!
This game and the lack of preparedness is what has me out on Cally. Sorry but this time next year we'll be talking about who our new HC is going to be.
They were totally unprepared and undisciplined. Cally probably returns next season, but he'll be on a short leash, I agree.
That first half was next level pathetic defense. But I will still watch the team till the end. Titan up.
A pathetic defensive and special teams performance all around!
Algorithm FTW!!!1
Real one!
Need this podcast as turned off at 28-0 (first time in a while).
That's what we're here for, to watch the abominable games you don't care to watch and then recap them for you! 😂
@@MusicCityAudiblePodcast you're heroes. Also, will you be getting Blue sky accounts, please?

Sportscasters outside of Nashville predicted we would win between 4-6 games, maybe our expectations were too high?
They were bang on about how bad this football team is!

I'm curious how many people will regret the Texans win come April
Asked the same question about the Jaguars win in Week 18 last season!
The time is coming soon where I can wear my WL8 Titans shirt in public. I've had it ready in my closet since the pre-season. 😅
Hahaha rock it with confidence!
Levis looking good
Callahan looking bad
Unfortunately true!
