My brother was one of the tailors,he was at New Burgh Street, just after Carnaby,I went to help him during school holidays, just before Carnaby became famous,I visited about 8 years ago,now Carnaby Street is just a normal little street,I am glad I was a visitor during the fame.
Love the interview with the lady that used to work for them. Kenny looks fantastic. Don Arden: that crook. Why is he on it? Not so sure how Steve and Ronnie would feel about sharing a plaque with Arden, the creep that ripped them off!
We put Don's name on it as it was his offices. And like it or not, Don was a well known Impresario and part of the history of the Small Faces. Same reason for including Jimmy Winston's name. He was key member of the band at the launch of their career.
Very nice. I enjoyed this and the history lesson was by no means lacking in interest. Thanks a lot. And yeah, I love the Small Faces of Steve Marriot's era.
but the difference is that Peter Grant was an excellent manager and he didn't rip off The Zep. I think that LZ had a great luck to have him as a manager so it wouldn't have looked bad if he had been on the plaque while Arden- the bastard ..... grrrrr. :-/
About times the small faces get some recognition top mods
My favourite band growing up well deserved
Superb band, all the members carried on with other great bands

I remember Carnaby street in the 1980s full of stalls selling mod badges.
Don Arden was Sharon Osbourne's Dad.

Don Arden liked to pay them in Clothes, Uppers and Hashish , as well as a very very basic £. salary.
Don Ardon? probably the biggest crook in music sold them down the river then went onto ELO to name two
