Why do i need an agent? Can i buy directly from the seller?

Gonna be interesting to see if the courts rule against buyer agency commissions offered from seller. Going to drive up costs for buyers drastically! Do you think listing agents are going to reduce their compensations? If anything it would drive my piece of the pie higher…. Per say if list agent wrote up a contract and offered no buy side commission, instead of charging a 2 or 3% commission for the seller more so a 4% commission as your gonna have to work harder to sell it and work both sides to close the deal… I think it’s a bad approach and going to affect real estate tremendously! Thoughts?
