If anyone is having problems like I did when trying to wrap the seed beads to the leather with the thread try this: Use jewelry wire instead of thread. Its stiffer and easier to work with.
get some 22 gauge silver jewelry silver wire. Cut about 3 ft of the wire. Make a small loop at the end. Leave 2 inches in the beginning and end without beads to attach the wire to the leather bracelet. Slide beads on wire. Tightly twirl the wire to the bracelet and start wrapping. Much easier and I was done in 15 minutes.

I'm glad to hear that you tried it out! Yes, even sized beads is the crucial thing with this DIY. It does take some time to complete, but it's well worth it!

Wow that's actually a lot easier than I thought it would be to make these bracelets. I can't wait to make these in all different colors. Great Christmas presents! Thanks for the tutorial. :-)

That's definitely not a stupid request! I'm still working on my sewing skills, but I'm sure I could come up with some basic sewing videos pretty soon.

Beautifully done!! Total dupe. Even side by side, identical. Good work!!

Yes, any thick cord should work (so that you can run the needle through it). If you're able to find thick leather or suede cord, it should work for this project.

Let's see, you might try securing the beads with a small knot to keep them taut while you wrap them around the cord. I just kept them taut by holding my finger up against them so that no gaps would form. I hope this made sense..

The length of the entire bracelet? That will depend on your wrist size. Also, you can always use Google to convert inches to centimeters. Hope that helps!

If you have Michael's, I'd suggest their Toho Seed Beads in size = 11/0. (They were the red ones in the video). Those were easier to work with b/c they're all uniformly sized so when you wrap the cord, you don't have any beads getting bunched up awkwardly. They're also the most similar to the ones on the Tory Burch bracelet (of all the brands I saw in Michael's). Cord type doesn't matter as much b/c it just gets covered but I used the "Waxed Cotton Cord" from Michael's. Thanks for watching!

Awesome! Am thinking this might work with 22 or 24 gauge wire as well. I just made myself a braided and macrame button bracelet using leather cord... Now I have another variation to try. Thanks!

I bought about 10g of seed beads and didn't use them all up so slightly less than 10g. This will vary depending on your bracelet length.

I don't think hemp would work as well because it's a little more thin/flimsy than leather cord. For this DIY, you really need something sturdy to wrap the beads around.

I made this and it turned out well. It's quite a challenge to wrap the beads around the cord, but I think it looked nice. I would agree that the beads had to be of exact size though. Mine came out with some uneven areas. :)

WOW! That is pretty awesome! I am new to making jewelry and not sure what type of cord to use. Is there a particular brand you use? Is there a specific size of beads to use...I see they are small but there are so many different sizes at the store! We only have Hobby Lobby and Michaels here in Montana so I wonder if I can find everything there! Great tutorial!!

First of all,so so glad I found your video, great money saving idea, but also better when it has the personal touch!Do you know what size (??mm)Toho beads to use,to replicate the Tory Burch bracelet?I've seen them to purchase online but am at a loss with all the different sizes :-( I've just made a pretty awesome one from misc beads I had collected from broken bracelets but as you said the replica needs the uniform Toho beads. Thanks, would really appreciate your help/opinion xxx

Awesome video thanks! I'm planning on making them as gifts for my bridesmaids, but would like to personalize a button to use. I know you said you just use buttons you have saved. But, if you have any recommendations on places that might make a personalized button out of some sort of metal I would appreciate it. Thanks!

At the end, when you said to thread the needle again, what did you mean? Did you already cut the thread from the strand you used on the beads? I'm confused about that part (sorry, I tend to get easily confused with tutorials). Thanks! :D

Love the idea, but had a couple of snags. The base cord "Died" about half way through the wrapping then when almost competed the beads kept slipping creating small gaps exposing the cord. Any tricks keeping the beads taunt?
