(7:45) - I can't tell what's crazier:
Trying to pull a loaded boat trailer with a motorized scooter or the fact that it's actually working.
Could be because it's in fact an electric-wheelchair which run on twin 12V batteries & a 24V motor on each of those larger drive-wheels! Mobility-scooters usually run on a single smaller 12V battery!
Electric motors have loads of torque.
I really enjoy these videos but I’ve got to say. If you intentionally tell someone who’s never changed oil before to look right into the stream, that’s just wrong. Dude can have his vision messed up from that.
Then again if you're dumb enough to do it... 😬
Exactly
It literally says on the container of oil that it can give you cancer smh

Guy at 7:22 is how every car guy feels when we lose our 10mm socket. Sad to see it happen
thats why you prevent this by just having around 15 spare 10mm's laying around!
@@Sharpless2 Now you've lost 16 10mm's. ;)

My daughter recently got her catalytic convertor stolen. The ins company totaled out the car due to not estimated time of delivery for a new part. Perfectly good 10 year old running car. Everyone from the welder to the tow truck k driver was in shock they were going to total the car over it.
Or you could just keep driving it for free
You can stop them from totaling it if you cover repair charges.

9:52 Dog don't give a damn. He sit's where he want's XD
If anything, I over maintained my car for 24 years and it never let me down. It's still running strong, now belongs to my neighbor who knew how meticulous I was with the maintenance. I figured that the investment of attention to required services as well as items such as changing differential oil, power steering fluids, brake fluids, keeping the under chassis clean, as well as keeping the paint and finishes like new kept me from experiencing colossal failures.
Probably figures it''ll now run for another 12yrs without having to touch it!
Unfortunately you are the glaring exception that confirms the rule. To have a modicum of common sense.
The dog in the last clips tells the driver, he should buy an automatic..
Legend has it, he's still in the parking lot.
Lmao Yeah it’s cute until your big ass dog knocks you into neutral while driving🤦🏾♂️
Nah, nah he shouldn't, automatics are for people that are incapable of learning how to shift gears manually
@@Momo_Kawashima it’s not that they’re incapable, most cars are automatic. It’s more like people are lazy. Most people aren’t driving manuals because automatics are more available. If you don’t know anyone who drives manual you probably won’t drive them. Capable? yes, willing to? No. I mean why drive manual when you can drive automatic and have everything done for you? There’s a reason why car companies started focusing on automatic. People don’t even like changing their own oil, you think they’d wanna learn a 5 speed? I drive automatic, but I’ve recently been thinking about manual. Something about having a manual just seems cool😂
@@n0to_reousd115 I dunno about over there, but here in Europe automatics aren't a thing. Basically only people that buy automatics are either people that can afford a Mercedes and say "fuck it, if I have a car that talks to me I want it to drive itself" or people that literally can't learn how to shift gears and buy whatever old car they can get their hands on that has an automatic gearbox and later tune it to say they got a fancy automatic (spoiler: these guys can't drive and nobody can figure out how they got their license, probably they bought it. A great part of the accidents are caused by these incompetents getting their hands on something they are too mentally impaired to use safely and that they only have cause "t's cool man")
Remember: Always lubricate your rear diff with caramel.
lol
Rear diff isn’t even that important. If it fails just remove it you don’t need 4WD. They get in terrible condition because you can keep driving with it completely broken and hardly notice.
@@JacobLeeson-zk1ol most 4wd drive cars uses rear wheels while on 2wd mode so you have to repair it or car wouldn't run

4:40 That just means you have just enough washer fluid to not set off the light when innertia isn't forcing the remaining fluid away from the fluid level sensor.
5:39 that's why you check if it's in neutral😂
Even then no way it jump that far forward it stall soon he let off the clutch

5:37 that hurts. I've almost done that but I quickly step back down on the clutch.
Feelsbad. Hope he was able to get it fixed
I've almost done it myself. Sometimes you park it in gear and just forget the next time you get in.
that's why i like it when manufactures make it so you have to depress the clutch in order for the engine to start
@@techgamer1597 he did depress the clutch, he just put it back in without thinking about it
@@billyray4716 Then he's an idiot for not setting the parking brake. And don't come at me that its an "e-brake" because people that insist it's an emergency brake have never read the owner's manual to any vehicle they've ever owned.
@@sivalley I ended up looking in my audi manual and it calls it an emergency brake and than I looked into my acura and it calls it a parking brake so I looked it up and different manufacturers were 50/50 on emergency or parking brake but there's no difference oddly enough in some cars it's called e-brake but stands for electronic brake apparently the reason some call it emergency brake is because it can be used in an emergency since it operates independently from the main braking system
I hope that guy finds his 10Mil socket
Saddens me to see it 😔

I'm amazed at the rust on some of these vehicles. I live in south Florida and I drive a 2008 Escalade EXT and aside from road dirt the underside looks like brand new, and I live a mile from the beach. To date it is the only vehicle I have owned for over 10 years. I did recently own a car with a bit of rust. It was a 1987 Trans Am GTA. I bought it from from a guy here in Miami as a project. It came from Michigan which explained the rust...but nothing rotted like some of these cars falling apart. Just surface rust and believe me I poked, prodded and hammered the entire underside and it was very solid for any 30+ year old car let alone one that spend 25 years in Michigan. When I pulled the entire interior out to replace it, every inch of the interior metal under the carpet and door panels were bright shiny red from factory. What the hell is causing some of the cars on these videos to rust out to the point of falling apart?
It wasn’t rotten because it was a trans am meaning it didn’t get winter drove, you will not find a 15 year old vehicle in the northern states without rust if it was winter drove every year
Road brine in the winter kills undercarriages up North.
The dog at the final was very cute and funny at the same time
1:39 “So how much longer will the oil change take?”
“Yes”
6:22 🇧🇷😂🇧🇷😂🇧🇷
7:15 Fit Batido... Sempre kkkkkk
8:00 is the most american thing ive ever seen as a german
I refuse to believe that scooter was actually pulling that boat lol. Going downhill, push from a friend, using a rubber band, and a good Taco Bell fart booster you might see like 7 mph.. thing must have godly torque.
1:18 It baffles me how common that is in the US. Over here, most trucks have a sticker somewhere around the dash that will say how high the truck is when the bogie (tag axle) is up or down. When the bogie is lifted (only the drive wheels are down on the ground) on my truck it's 4.48 meters high (14 ft and 7.6 in). With bogie down it's 4.42 meters high (14 ft 6 in). Now, if there aren't any signs on a bridge, that means you can drive under it because when there is no sign, the bridge is at least 4.5 meters high.
Makes me think of a UA-cam channel that covers a 11' 8" bridge, which they've since raised another 8". There are many signs before the bridge that tell these high clearance vehicles to find another route, do not continue, yet people seem to forget how to read. Semis get peeled open like a sardine can, RVs and campers lose their AC units on their rooftops, it's honestly hilarious
Rental.... You need no brain.
The height stickers are everywhere in a rental and people still do it.
I drove a box truck that for some reason didn't have a sticker, so I measured it myself unloaded and subtracted a few inches for error. Funny enough the BOSS smashed it before I started working there when he borrowed the truck to help someone move. Brand new truck had to have a 4 year old box put on it.
@@volvo09 No, I do not drive a rental truck. The company I drive for own their trucks, as do most companies here. A rental truck usually has a specific paint job with "Rental" (translated from Swedish of course) and our truck cabs are painted white or dark green and have the company logo and the rest of the truck (exterior of loading bay) has the names of the companies we deliver to, as do our trailers. Most companies that operate this type of truck (Swedish/Finnish regulated rigid chassis trucks) have these stickers so that this type of accident can be avoided since our trucks are higher and longer than the ones on the continent. We don't have to worry about our trucks changing height when unloaded or loaded since we have automatic air suspension so the truck will find the pre-selected drive mode for itself. You can regulate it yourself as well by lowering or lifting the suspension by a remote inside the cab.
No, I meant the one in the crash was a rental... Didn't it have Ryder on it? That's a leasing company in the US.
I believe a truck that size dosen't require a CDL to operate, so anyone with a regular license (and also no brain) can rent one. I think that's why they get smashed in so much in the US.
@@volvo09 In Sweden, all vehicles that have a max gross weight of over 3.5 tons require either a C1-license or a C-license. A C1-license is for vehicles with a max gross weight between 3.5 and 7.5 tons. With a C-license, there is no weight limit (on your license so to speak). If you want to hook a trailer with a max gross weight of over 750kg, you'll need an additional letter on your license. With a BE you're allowed to drive a normal car (max 3.5 tons) with a heavy trailer (over 750kg). With a C1E, you're allowed to hook a heavy trailer to your medium truck. With a CE, you're allowed to hook a heavy trailer to your heavy truck. And before you ask, the C-license do make sence here, since most of our trucks can both load goods and hook a trailer. The trucks themselves can usually load 18 EUR-pallets (1x EUR=120x80cm) and a regular 4-axle full trailer can usually load 30x EUR pallets. And since our Swedish trucks are higher, we usually put beams between the walls to load on top of as well so we can load even more. Our weight limit for a regular 24-meter truck is usually 64 tons (for 6x2 truck and 4-axle trailer) or 62 tons (most commonly 8x4 excavation trucks and 3-axle trailer with veeery long drawbar).
Thanks!

My car went in for a service TMPS light.
I recently got new tires and new TPMS sensors for it so I was really confused.
The Mechanic (A experienced and certified mechanic and friend) tried to reset the code. Tried twice with a standard OBDII scanner. Didn't work.
So he tried the newest TPMS and OBDII Tablet the shop had.
The car proceed to throw 40 codes back in response to the attempted clearing. Engine, Transmission, ABS, sensors, brakes. The wipers kicked on and the though it was in neutral despite being in park.
He quick cleared the codes again. And everything went back to normal. Except the TPMS light was still on. (ABS and TC also on too, but unrelated issue)
I never thought I'd see a car throw a tantrum before but now I have
Actual automotive temper tantrum.
Welcome to modern cars... The littlest thing goes wrong and the manufacturers employ 'scare tactics' to get you to take your vehicle into a dealership. The temperature sensor for your outdoor ambient sensor goes bad (you know the one that shows up on the display to tell you how hot it is outside) Well say hello to a Check Engine, Service Transmission, Service ABS, No Air Conditioning, and a host of other error messages. Sure there's several other temperature sensors including intake air temperature sensors on the car meaning the ambient temperature sensor is inconsequential to all of these systems but they'll turn the whole dash into a christmas tree just so you'll freak out.
Source: I work on cars that do this very thing for a living and I always shake my head when a christmas tree dash comes in because of something unimportant like this.
@@Jakek200 So the manufacturers purposely give their cars a reputation for being unreliable, just to drive repair business to the dealerships? Call me skeptical. It's just not in the manufacturer's financial interest to do that. It's more likely that the control systems in cars are simply getting more complex. I program computers for a living and I can tell you, the more complex you make software, the weirder and more enigmatic the defects are (until you figure them out, of course).
@@ReadTheShrill True the software is far more complex, there's a lot more modules in a car today interlinked together (directly and indirectly) but sometimes it really seems like they're "overdoing it". What I mean is 10 years ago if lets say a Wheel Speed Sensor goes bad, you'd obviously get an ABS/Traction light. But today at minimum the Check Engine light will come on and if your car has some other ancillary systems like Park Assist, or Blind Spot Monitoring those systems will also throw wheel speed sensor codes. All of those other modules outside of the ABS module don't have a direct wheel speed input, they get it from the ABS system but freak out none the less. I can see why the loss of one wheel speed sensor would make the ABS freak out since it's totally reliant of comparing all four wheels at all times but these other systems? All they should (and have in the past) care about is vehicle speed.
IDK it's just to me it seems like they're tightly integrating things making them totally dependent on small single points of failure just because they can.
[But I'm kinda glad it's not the "dark old days" like with my 89 Ford which unless something goes wrong to the point the engine runs extremely poorly the Check Engine light wont come on]
That Ryder truck went full send!😆😆😆
