@@WyattLite-n-inn Yeah they are, only thing is I havnt managed to programme any of the other boss effects as I seem to have a connection issue, that said I have plenty with what comes as stock on the amp
Wow that is impressive. Features and functionality make sense and sound high-quality. I wonder if they would make a Katana 800 (400 W / 8 ohms) as that may be more practical for gigging with a drummer at a venue or outdoors (versus inside on stage). The opening bass line was so thick, fat, and juicy it grabbed my attention. That bass guitar is super sweet and Kai is a killer bassist- super demo. Price on Reverb for pre-order is $799 shipped which seems great considering what you are getting (makes it tempting).
Pretty interesting. I saw someone talking about this somewhere. They were thinking there was no reason for this amp since it's all in the 2x10 combo. Personally, I would prefer the head so I could use it on whatever cabinet I want.
Beyond being able to the the head in whatever cab, (hartke for me personally) this head is a little more powerful than the one that comes in the combo. Plus some features the combo doesn't have. In my opinion, the speaker is the weakest part of the Boss Bass Katana. I'd love to hear the head through my Hartke Stack
Thank you as always for the great reviews and demos! A couple questions, you mentioned about how good the DI out is, does it have a dedicated transformer or something else so it pushes all of the whole signal and transients? Also, is it all digital or are there any analog components? Thank you so much 😊
I'd totally want one but it doesn't have international power switching. That is literally the ONLY thing they didn't throw in. Flying from Africa, across Europe, then across the USA doesn't work very well if I have to carry a transformer when I want to travel light. Edit: Hey, BOSS! Please make this thing with universal power! Please. Seriously. It has everything I'd ever want and need, but that. I've watched this video a few times, plus a few more. This amp wants me.... @@ibnfunk hah! It really is true. My bias is largely based in the fact that new technology tends to age badly over time, especially when tied to any sort of app. A basic amp will still work just fine 30 years from now if taken care of.

If I had to guess, it's because full potential is realized with GAFC and ME90B, which has send/return.
