Hey Deano it's worth getting a Tesco club card if you use Tesco alot, their free and you'll find alot of products cheaper with the club card but if you don't have one generally if you use self service check outs people are always happy to scan their club card for you because they get your points then but you get the club card prices :) hope this tip is useful 😊
I've tried those sandwiches from Sainsbury's their gorgeous :)
As a heads up tesco has triple sandwiches and costa drinks.

Definitely Sainsburys is the better of the two , that Pastrami sandwich is very good , but not cheap .
The pastrami sandwich is delicious..picking an expensive drink like a smoothie can make the taste the difference meal deal effectively cheaper!

I love smoothies with spirulina, but sadly can no longer drink them, with a bad fructose allergy developing. They are deceptive as they look nasty, but the taste is amazing! Spirulina IS from a water 'plant', a blue-green algae you find in ponds! But the nutrition it brings is easily absorbed and incredibly good for you. Since discovering it, they grow it under very controlled environments, so it remains good. I need to find my own way to include it in my diet again, minus the fruit I can no longer tolerate! I can get it as a powder . . . just need to experiment with things I can enjoy!
You only spent £4 in Tesco. You could have bought something else to go with your Meal Deal and it could have been a game changer. E.g. Egg Custard tarts 2 for 85p.
The sandwich did look premium, whereas the salad looked a bit ordinary. Energy drinks are all the rage, but I stick clear of them. IMO bettr off with a good cup of tea.
You should have used the extra £1 in Tesco and got something else
Tesco do the Costa hot drink meal deal, as long as it's regular size, they've been doing it ages 👍
I don't understand why you don't get a Tesco card? they are free. But these meal deals are so hard to fathom as they have so many and if they have different meal deals so hard to chose.

Tesco for me I use my clubcard every time

I have mentioned so many times, Sainsbury's do the best value for money meal deals.
Sainsburys for me, my 2nd favourite sandwich, I love their chicken and bacon caesar wrap too. The Coop do a chicken tikka sandwich that has cucumber slices and for some reason the cucumber seems to make it better it adds a nice little crunch. 🙂
Deano,if you like that Sainsburys sandwich you should try the TTD steak and caramelised onion one. That’s bloody amazing!

Sainsburys, Asda, Boots, Morrisons, Co-op etc all do them Deano. Get a club card, they are absolutely free ❤
Sainsbury's and Tesco are the joint best for lunches out of the main 4 supermarkets... Morrisons is ok, Asda is rubbish! I had a pasta salad there recently that was a watery gunky mess!

sainsburys have always been the best for meal deals
They actually used to be pretty rubbish not many years ago. I'd get a meal deal every day with work and none of the decent sandwiches at Sainsbury's were included - just boring things like cheese ploughman's, egg mayo and tuna mayo. If you wanted these deli sandwiches like the ham hock one you had to buy them separately! They also had far fewer side options. They've improved a lot in the past couple of years and have probably overtaken Tesco but they definitely weren't the best once upon a time.

Oh Deano! First bite into the middle of the sandwich, no, no, no! Crusts first then the filled middle bit! Great vid though mate! Tesco meal deal at £3.50, the chicken club, two eggs and one of the chilled coffees. Then buy whatever crisps are on clubcard discount. Should be under a fiver!
