Those Blue Coloured coaches are " ICF " coaches . Bhot purana technology hai wo , 1950s-60s ka technology hai uska . They are being phased out now slowly , I hope that all trains get the LHB coaches as soon as possible

Imagine we had something like the European Train Management System (ETCS).....you can have high speed trains one behind the other within a time interval of less than 3 minutes. Overtakes would be way faster and less time consuming and can reduce the overall travel time and increase the capacity and frequency of trains on mainlines and high demand lines It even means that freight/goods trains can reach destinations faster and dont have to be stuck at a siding for half a day. What do you think?

All the signals even if you dont see one are on the loco display too so it s not important if you see them in front of the loco. Here the high speed lines dont have signals at all..there are radio impulses that are sent to the train computer
@@pritamdas5529 but why not enabling the locos as it seems fog is quite frequent? Airports and airplanes are allowed unless it s really impossible..there s much more money wasted this way (not considering all the travellers' needs) than the money spent for upgrading

Fog is the only reason behind it, I travelled from Delhi To Gwalior on 9 Jan, it's just 300 km but the train took around 12-13 Hrs just because of immense fog, one can't even see the bushes around the track from the window.

You can check NTES website, Rajdhani was actually running 24 hours late. Trains running between New Delhi and Prayagraj are getting tremendously late. I live in varanasi and there is extremely dense fog.
Many factors, bad weather, power fault, technical fault and what not,. There are thousands of trains running in India at any given time so if in a line of track one train gets late others also have to be rescheduled or get a stoppage accordingly. If a train gets 2 min late for example at 20 stoppages then it would get 40 min late and so on adding all difficulties the late time gets worse
I absolutely hate and despite delays in our railway system(ofc I'm inspired by the japanese railway system where the trains are only late by mere seconds(±5-10 seconds to be exact....more than 30 seconds of delay results is a strict penalisation of the untenshas)....if I ever become an Indian train driver then I'll make damn sure that my trains are pretty damn punctual(considering the signalling situations and all)
Bruh 💀. Our loco pilots are no less than TGV and Shinkansen pilots. It's the signalling system and people&cattle on tracks is main reason. Also Japan doesn't do much freight. Our 75% contributor to railway are freight trains non-dfc ones run on these passenger train tracks which results in delays.

This is not the case in Indian Trains signals are not visible in loco display which creates major hindrance in train movement
