@the perfume guy certainly a few moments here reminded me slightly of YSL’s Live Jazz, but by no means is it by any stretch of the imagination identical - still not 100% certain on this one, but must agree this is certainly a step in the right direction following the previous Cologne Fortes and 724 (which to me is far and away from the perfection that was 754)
@the perfume guy - am I completely off base, or do you get a little Eau de Rochas Homme in this one?

Nah, its simple and elegant. Over done bottle design can be tacky.
I wore this fragrance today in the Texas summer heat and it smelled awesome. My wife loved it on my skin. I had a nice scent bubble for about 5-6 hours. This fragrance is not your typical green fragrance. If you are looking for a fresh fragrance with uniqueness, depth and character, this is it.
I wore it in Texas also yesterday and it smelled great!

@@tyreebranch yes! Yesterday I even mixed it later in the day with a darker cologne cartier nior absolu, and it was interesting and sexy , I would like to try in in the winter and mix with some other favorite darker fragrances I bet it could be real nice .

I don't smell people wearing any type of fragrances these days. Most people these days only smell like skin and unwashed hair and that's a fact. Our fragrance community is very very small.

I grow lemon verbena and am obsessed with its smell! I don’t normally gravitate towards green fragrances, but I might need to try this!

Aqua media smells so amazing. Its a perfect summer fragrance and for playing sports.
I need this because the bottle and the scent sounds great for hot days! You are right though about fragrances getting too predictable.
I tested this yesterday at my local Nordstrom here in beautiful Silicon Valley. The opening is pleasant, but longevity is poor. I had to dig my nose in my forearm to smell it after an hour or so. The drydown is similar to Cartier Declaration Haute Fraicheur. I love this house, but they need to come up with a “show stopper and head turner” new fragrance.

Seems like after the oud collection MFK hasn't actually put any effort into his fragrances
Pleasant surprise given I’ve started to give up on new exciting releases from this house. Was able to try this in NM (downtown S.F.) and am quite intrigued by the green fennel/musky notes. Trying out sample this week to decide if the dry down (juice) is worth the squeeze.
Live in Canada, so this really is a scent for the late spring/summer for me. I’ve considered layering this with aqua universalis - I think the two scents can compliment each other.
I also think L'occitane makes the best verbena for the reasonable price

This is my fragrance now that summer in the uk is on the way absolutely love it got a 70ml when that’s gone then 200ml will be purchased
Completely agree with your assessment! I like it much more than the other 3 aquas
Loved the opening of this one - very herbal, but the drydown only took 15 minutes to appear and then by the time I left the store, the scent was non existent. Would have to bathe in this stuff. Drydown was just meh. Great review though!
MFK's fragrances are powerhouses. It is just released, bottles are new and haven't got a chance to develop yet.

Love Aqua Media, ordered the bottle from Neiman Marcus. But I did happen to smell Pacific Chill first. They seem to be very much so in competition with the notes. Both AMAZING New scents.

Aqua Media smells sooo good! Thats my next buy. I bought Kilian Fievre Verte today and its smells heavenly.
Next buy is Aqua Media and the Amyris Homme extrait de parfum

This house has sold out to the commercial market. I'm surprised its not in Sephora yet. His earlirt stuff was great (Absolue Pour le Soir ) but they discontinue all their best
I sampled Pacific Chill as well but that one disappears fast in comparison to this one.
They tricked me I put some pacific chill on skin at my local Lv boutique lasted all day then I bought the bottle and it lasted 3 hours and gone. Lmaoo

I've sampled this one in Bellevue, WA. The top note has the MFK DNA found in masculin pluriel, and Gentle Fluidity Silver: a clean smell. It's a freshy fragrance (I don't get tea notes on paper), and the drydown sweetness is somewhere between MFK 724 and MFK Petit Matin.
I tried it in Bellevue last week too.

“We’re not breaking any ground.” Well, this is a niche brand. The whole point is that it should be breaking new ground. I can understand a Dior being boring, but not a niche fragrance

My SA at Bloomigdale sent me a sample last week. thought it was ok. I prefer 724 as that is more unisex while this one seems more masculine.

I'm sad that I can't get MFK Aqua Vitae Forte anymore. It's my favorite so far in my short fragrance journey. Universalis forte is close second. The cologne collection is underwhelming, yes. If they sell, it's probably the "new stuff" effects. When I tried the cologne collection, I thought I picked up a wrong brand. It smells like the fictional MMM Replica Cost Cutting in Bottle, because if you want to bottle the smell of cost cutting in fragrance design, it's probably that.
This new one I gonna try a tester. I'm not expecting much. I mean, I look at the world GDP in consumption sector and I kinda understand why they'd not doing the designer thing, even when it the right thing for the brand. Being right too quickly is being wrong after all.

I just got my nose on this in the Edinburgh Harvey Nichols. It is very similar the EA Green Tea.
I tested it at Bloomingdale’s and found it to be very boring and forgettable.
Sounds right up my street with sweet fennel scent! Itching to try now! Talking about verbena, I noticed whilst in Paris every herbal tea in any store had verbena. I thought it must have been a very French thing, as there is no verbenas in English infusions.
Yeah try it. It smells so nice and pleasant. Like lemon mixed with cucumber (at least to me)

It's arrived but it's once again a citrus.
baccarat rouge has many clones you’ll smell it and its by one of a dozen clone brands some are strong and some are very subtle, thats why its popular.
Let's just say I prefer the Armani!! They aren't similar to me except they feature Myrrh!
