Was the "free kick" from the correct position? No
Was Rice walking away from the ball? Yes
Did Veltman roll the ball towards rice? Yes
Now you can agree that Rice should get sent off if you want, nothing wrong with that. But don't pretend like it's so cut and dry that Keown couldn't POSSIBLY think it was harsh unless he is biased 🙄

Could you not just say Rice was kicking the ball away for a throw in? Veltmann kicks the ball in a stationary position where the foul was committed against Rice. Based on the letters of the law Veltmann has taken that free kick.
They all should have got a yellow card. Rice would still have been sent off. The end result would have still been the same, a draw. What Arsenal fans should be worried about is the fact they didn't find a way to win that game anyway.

Super Mid has done absolutely nothing remotely significant that any other experienced manager couldn't have done. Any experienced manager given the same money, backing, support, unquestioned authority, etc etc etc would have won arsenal major honours with half the money spent in the same timespan
The only "turn" super Mid has made is a very large, expensive 360º circle to 2013-14 when he was contributing to bottling league titles as a player, and we were 3-5 world class players away from winning major honours. Nothing has changed, it's always been just a PR-heavy facade.
