Now, I know I cannot be the only one who gets teary-eyed during the finale. I've been watching this show since it debuted in '92. I was 12 years old and it still gives me chills. Disney, don't EVA take this show away!

The intro is a lot more flashier than I remember. Not gonna lie, it's beautiful. Mickey acting mesmerized and in awe of it is nice and all, but it starts too feel underwhelming.
The happy exciting dance he used to do before while jumping and waving his arms around in the air while confidently and knowingly, performing tricks is what usually gets the crowd going and is what personally to me makes everything feel lively and exciting, so I wish that hadn't changed.
But because I'm a fan I'm going to choose to believe because this show and magical acts are all new Mickey isn't that same confident sorcerer who is doing everything the same as he used to, he's learning and trying new magic tricks and can't help but be in awe of it the whole time.
Personally I like the more innocent Mickey better I like that he's discovering what he's capable of
@@disneyfan94themuppetsforev95 They still could've kept the dance though, (I always got a kick out of it as a kid, even now and it goes with the pacing of the song's intro) that's honestly my only complaint. 😆

WDW Mickey where he waves his hands in the air and knows what he’s doing, I saw that when I was 7. The Sorcerer Mickey I love but WDW one, I feel like that everyone cheered cause the finale is the big wow and seeing Mickey in his Sorcerer outfit once... feels more magical if I’m honest. Seeing Mickey 3 times in the sorcerer outfit... kinda lost it and didn’t feel the same. I love both versions of Fantasmic but WDW one wins it. One Sorcerer Mickey and the mountain, wins it and the dance at the beginning. Sorry!
Ceran Sokhi WDW wins? Lmao no not even a chance. Their actors are terrible, little to no energy and the set is awful and tooo big for such an underwhelming production.
I really enjoyed this new show! but not going to lie, I miss the Peter Pan part and the old singing during the princess part :(

It only changed last year after the 25th anniversary. I was on the original Fantasmic crew in 1992 and in 2017 it was still the exact same show as in 1992, so for 25 years they were doing the exact same show.
That's the best way to describe it! And its why this is my favorite!
watched this as a kid and got blinded and deafened every time so 10/10 from me!

Just watched the WDW fantasmic on youtube and the boat finale with all the characters was so underwhelming. I had to come back and watch the DL fantasmic boat finale to feel better 😂

Panda Sannah Late but I’m pretty sure the female singer is Heather Headley, who was also in the original cast of The Lion King on Broadway so her voice is very pretty to listen to imo!! As for the male singer I’m not sure, but maybe there’s like a cast list out there somewhere??

Well you have choked me up completely, one of the very few videos that can do so, without question THE BEST FINALE of a theme park you will EVER see!
I was so skeptical when I first saw this August 2017, I'm such a huge lover of Fantasmic I grew up w this show ever since I was little but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I LOVED the changes they made to this show, also there is something so special about Fantasmic being in the middle of Rivers of American then at WDW. I was so heartbroken that I didn't get to see this, this past September :(.
I am a DIE HARD fantasmic fanatic, so much that I will one day get it tattooed on my arm to represent the hallmark of my childhood. However, I cant lie that after seeing the new one, the rebranding was desperately needed. The original show was beautiful, but it dragged in some parts. It sometimes lacked the spectacle and excitement that Fantasmic 2.0 carries through the entire show. Disneyland has introduced new and more modern shows over the years, giving us the WOW factor that Fantasmic was beginning to fall behind on. It was clearly from an older, more modest era. This retelling of the story added so many more characters and music, and it does so by sacrificing parts of the first one that held it back or just cutting them short and making them more exciting to watch by adding more lights, colors, fireworks, special effects that give it the magic it was begging for. I’m glad this version exists, hopefully we’ll all be able to enjoy it again very soon once the world earns its way back to Disneyland.

We're at Disney World for our daughters Make a Wish, and she we'll be seeing this tomorrow night. She's going to be so amazed, and just thinking about it made me cry. Thanks, Disney, for giving my little girl such amazing memories.
I saw this show back around NYE 2011/2012 and I still think about it very often. One of the best Disney shows ever!!!

Omg I needed this video so badly 😂 the past two times I went to Disneyland I missed the beginning of the show or saw it from really far away, and I believe that I missed it while I was in CA adventure last night. The music has been stuck in my head all year 😂😂😂

Sooo happy! I was afraid that World Of Color would be so spectacular, that they would replace Fantasmic altogether as the old show was just a touch dated. I am so happy to see the spirit of this show is still shining just as bright as ever while it rocks the new lighting effects and additional stories. Sweet!
When I was a kid I was obsessed with Sleeping Beauty. When my parents took me to disneyland, we watched Fantasmic and when the Mark Twain came out with all the characters I remember Aurora looking right at me and waved at me. I just bawled my eyes out, my mom asked me what was wrong? and I babbled "Aurora looked right at me"
I LOVE the new Tangled part.
I always get emotional and cry everytime I watch Fantasmic! on UA-cam because when I was younger I got to experience watching this show live and didn’t enjoyed it as much as I could wish. I’ve always had a fear of fireworks and loud sounds so when I was a kid the ship’s cannons and all the show’s ending got me really bad and it was a traumatic experience for me. But when I watched online for the first time I realized that it is a really beautiful and amazing show and I feel really bad because my first and last time watching it live was a horrible experience. I’m hoping one day to go back to Disneyland and get to experience this show one more time, but this time better. I bet I’m going to cry more watching it live than I do watching it online because I think I’m going to be able to let go that horrible memory and replace it with an amazing and wonderful one😢❤️✨
Dude I'm with you there. I've also struggled with loud noises like fireworks. My first viewing of the show, I was about 4 or 5 and the only seat available was right next to the speakers. Let's just say, it did not end well with the sound being at 10x the volume, and it took a ride on "Small World" to calm me down afterward. (Sorry, Mom, XD) I have faint memories of going back to the hotel room kind of shaken up by the experience. Nevertheless, this is an amazing show watching it now!
I kind of hope that the Fantasmic in Florida is still closed because it's getting a major glow up to become like the shows in California and Tokyo!
Taking my son to Disneyland in September for his birthday.... can't wait to see this show with him.

It's 1000 times better in person! The audio is not the same obviously in the video, as it is in person.. and you don't get the dramatic effect of the fireworks captured in the video. there's just too much too see to be able to film. This UA-camr has done the best job I've seen so far... so hats of to them!
This is by far the best night time show ever it’s so good I heard they are going to make a movie based on this show comeing out next year
P.S I love your hyperspace mountain 3d audio video, I always listen to it when I need a sound track of the ride (which I love)

Phenomenal recording. I don't know how you pulled off the sound quality, but it's amazing. I've seen Disney Studios Fantasmic more times than I can remember, but I've never seen Disneyland's Fantasmic. The quality of this recording, along with the fun differences between the two shows made this video one of the best UA-cam videos I've seen in years. Liked, Subscribed, and shared.

This is still the best Fantasmic! show of all of them. The best nighttime show, too. I still prefer the original "suddenly dark" ending, but this has yet to be topped.

How do they practice all of this??? And WHEN do they practice all of this?! 12 am when the park is closed???
Yup, they perform the rehearsals as early as 1 hour after park closing. Most of the rehearsals are in bits and pieces on soundstages, but the full dress rehearsal is done at location. When I was a cast member I would find out when the dress rehearsal was and attend it (which no cast member is allowed to do). I still have fond memories of sitting on the patio of Riverbelle Terrace at 2 am watching the full show with the riverfront completely empty save for a group of 5 Fantasmic technicians/show producers.
Alex the Historian for the new version though they have been rehearsing if need be way later, like 2-4 am because of guests staying later to take pictures and shop after park closing.

Ive worked here during the early 2000-2006, and i remember watching this show on many occasions when my I was assigned to work near the lake area. That being said, the show seem unchanged as there wasnt any parts of the show in this video that appear new or unfamiliar as to how it was 20 years ago.
The Pink Elephants drop is so dope. Love the updated visuals but I think I enjoy the mysterious Kaa entrance and music with the neon monkeys better!
