Previously it didnt exist under gopinathan's regime but as soon as the new CEO took over this company everything has changed. He is making sure everyone attends office 5 days a week and introduced d band so that he can earn more profit from cost cutting.
D existed always.. they stopped during Covid now again it’s back
Guys try your best not to stay in this company for more than 3 years. Keep switching although i know market is not that good but I feel in the coming months we all will be able to switch to good companies.

In TCS also cost cutting started.. multiple projects removing C3A & above with higher salary with low performance.

If u have talent then TCS is not at all a choice..The talent , performance everything is gauged by how much butter ur manager..Fully politics in teams and inside organization..If u r really talented do not list this company in ur thoughts..
There is no such option for the manager to assign D band to any associate. It's assigned by corporate HR and most probably who have RTO less will get this band
May be but it will only be done when manager gives his consent
