Introduction to Safety Risk Management

Did SRM change from "single-pilot resource management" to "safety risk management" at some point? I cannot find any documentation of the term "safety risk management" in the PHAK or Risk Management Handbook, and they both state SRM stands for "single-pilot resource management."

Unfortunately both single-pilot resource management and safety risk management can be abbreviated as SRM. In order to avoid confusion, we are attempting to only abbreviate on second reference when necessary. Our new risk management fact sheet is available at bit.ly/IntroRisk, and safety risk management is a component of a Safety Management System (SMS).
