Is travelling solo safe? - I would argue the answer is almost always yes! As long as you use your common sense and you follow your own government's guidelines about travelling in that country. I have made several videos on backpacking safety on my channel.
Do you have plans to settle down? Yes, I'm currently saving to purchase my first property in the UK and I'd love to have children one day. I doubt I'll ever live a completely 'conventional' lifestyle by society's standards though, as I often have my own preferred way of doing things.

What I like about your videos is how raw they are. It's not just the fancy hotels and wonderful beaches. It's exactly how you will find it if you go see the place. It's so much better for planning future trips and getting an idea about the place!! I love how you explain every little detail, it's so helpful.

I told myself to leave room in my bag on the trip I'm currently on (Colombia, inspired by your travels) because I knew I would buy more things along my travels. But I didn't listen and I already bought a new crop on my second day 😂 Like you, I will deal with it when I have to 😅
That hostel 😍😍😍 I've always agreed with you when you talk about the vibes that hostels have in comparison to hotels, but I often feel like what you gain in vibe, you loose in comfort, but this place seems to give the best of both worlds! Not at all what your video was about, but I do LOVE that floral blue and pink bikini top of yours! The end scene of you with those trousers - pure UA-cam Gold!!!

Your travel vlogs are my favourite! This hostel looks amazing! 😍 I had to star it in my google maps so I can remember it once I can go backpacking in SE Asia haha. I love a good happy hour, full vacation mode is nice haha. Those trousers were a good choice, I would have bought them too even though space is limited 😂

Ahhhhh, loved the vlog as always. Koh Samui is a bittersweet place for me, it's absolutely beautiful, but it was the last place I visited in 2020 before my trip got cut short due to covid! :(

Been to Thailand two times and both time i did a stop at Lub D. Best hostel for me since it combines the flair of a hostel with all its social aspects with the comfort of a hotel. The staff is great, and tom is a cool manager.
On my next trip (hopefully in november) i will go there as well. I try to be there during a pre full moon party.
You both seemed extra chipper now that you're in the islands! Can't wait to get to Thailand one day soon

I've only stayed at LubD in Siem Reap and Phuket and oh my god they are amazing! They hadn't finished voiding the one in Koh Samui last time I was there so I definitely need to go back 🌞

I am so thankful for your tour. Some websites show that all the rooms have shared bathrooms while others say they are private. It’s so confusing when wanting to guarantee private due to having to kids with me.

helloooo - currently getting a ‘rough’ itinerary ready for my trip and noticed your previous video ends in chiang rai, and then suddenly you’re in koh samui.. which is very far away. how did you travel from A to B .. any advice would be much appreciated on how to get from the north to the south east islands. thank you! love your vids!
I flew from Chiang Rai to Surat Thani (via Bangkok) then got a ferry to Koh Samui. That was the biggest internal journey I made in Thailand so that every other transfer was fairly direct and seamless!

Honestly I‘ve always wondered how to do your laundry on a long backpacking trip? like do you always have to buy washing detergent or do the hostels with a washing machine provide this, normally? 😅😅
Completely depends and it can get a little frustrating because sometimes places provide it for free, sometimes you can pay for little one-time sachets and sometimes they have nothing and you have to go to the supermarket! We ended up buying a small-ish bottle of detergent and travelling with it to use for all the laundry visits
