It was stupid hot here in Lebanon Township Nj today. I'm a hardscape guy working on retaining walls, patios, and walkways. I'm always checking the weather multiple times every day to try and stay one step ahead, lol. I'm also an avid outdoors man, and your long-range forecasting has always helped me plan things a little better. The company I was plowing for during the winter decided to sell all the plowing equipment a couple of years ago because we only had 1 or 2 plowable storms in our local area. What do you think it will be like for Hunterdon County Nj this year?
Up in my neck of the woods in the Poconos, I live over 2000 feet and usually we have snow on the ground from endish of December up until March/April. Usually like 1 or 2 thaws in there where it'll rain and get up to 40/50 but then the snow pack ALWAYS comes back. But these last years have slow. The 2019-2020 winter was simply ALL ICE. I think the winter of 20-21 we got about 31 inches from one storm but still not where it used to be. Hoping for a grandslam this winter, it's been dry
I'm in the Poconos as well the last big snow was three years ago the very day we moved in to our new home we got 3 feet haven't had a white Christmas in forever
August has been so cool here in NW NJ. Then we went camping in the Pocono Mountains in August too and it was so cold at night, we needed a portable heater. I don’t remember an August that was so cool. 😊

In Philadelphia, which I live near in Southern New Jersey, the previous 3 winters have had well below average snowfall, one of those only had a few flurries total. Usually, it would be a matter of time before the region gets clobbered, after three straight winters with such little snow. Here, some winters you will get hammered, and others get little to nothing.

Yes it was, I believe you guys got over 100+ inches that winter!
It was a good day if your high temperature was in the single digits above zero lol.

Seattle, WA area. Two years ago, after a few days of snow, I bought a nice little snow blower, not a flake of snow since. So it better snow this winter as I'm dying to be the only guy in the neighborhood with a snowblower for those 2 weeks of white stuff we might get.
Been hearing this last few winters and here in NYC single digit snow last 2 winters

Yep, very near you, in Warrem Co near Huntrdn border.
Exactly like you said 👌🏽

We need some ice fishing in lower Michigan
They have said this for at least two years., and have got nothing .The weather man can't predict day to day .But I hope there right this year .
August has been so cool here in NW NJ. Then we went camping in the Pocono Mountains in August too and it was so cold at night, we needed a portable heater. I don’t remember an August that was so cool. 😊
I hate summer so much. Bring me some ski weather.
