One of the better review I’ve seen on the Fujifilm GFX 50 S II. Probably because you are one of the very few who is using the camera for one of it main purposes ,you’re not trying to shoot a football or basketball game with a medium format camera and therefore you’re not concerned that the camera will not shoot 15 frames per second.
THNX! Well, I have shot motorcross, dance and other stuf with the original 50s as well. It is also a skill you need to have ;). But love this camera for my main job, doing portraits like this!

great review and portraits--what nd filter do you recommend to allow for shallow depth of field in sunny situations with the sync speed at 125/sec?
Well, used different techniques. HSS, focal length and ND filters. I Used the Polarpro PMVND 2-5 stops. But prefer ND16 and ND64 filters

The GFX was DEAD IN BOX.
