- In Huntsville Saturday I did a stump removal job of two stumps. I get asked a question a lot does, "stump grinding remove roots and will they die out after stump grinding them"? Being non-invasive, stump grinding does not actively remove the underground roots. Once the stump is ground out, the roots die and decay, becoming part of the soil. As a precaution, the roots connected to the base of the stump are often severed using shears to ensure there is no regrowth. Thanks for watching!

Great job! I get roots as needed depends on the job. Some don’t have any exposed roots and the customer doesn’t need to regrade yard. Others you do.

What are your thoughts on the green teeth vs the rayco teeth? Have you noticed any more wear on ykur bearings from them?
I started out using the Rayco teeth first but switched to the green teeth because of how fast I can change the teeth and sharpen them. Thanks for watching!!! Keep grinding!
