    Dave is so charming and alluring. The way he holds himself, so graceful and mysteriously attractive.

      @@Audisj69 Maybe not the word in English...What I meant is he's a little bit of a mystery, which usually adds to someone's charm.

    Exciter is definitely an album that I grew into - I don't think it was one dimnesional as such (as Dave said), but I think you have to go below the surface. So in his reference to making music which has different landscapes, Exciters landscape may outwardly give the appearance of a flat surface, but the magic is happening underneath. Like drifting on a seemlessly endless ocean. It's had soundtracked my pandemic summers anyway...

    Dave has aged so gracefully. I’ve heard heroine keeps you young . . . as long as you don’t die

      @@nocturnalflare8457 Well... I've noticed every famous rock musician who had a heroin addiction, seems to look thin constantly after that, which is strange. Like it stop weight gain.

      It absolutey does NOT keep you young. It gives you underlying health problems with your body , when you are clean of heroin , you have to learn to cope with life in the real world again. There is no such thing as an old heroin addict.

    I'm American but it drives me crazy how so many Americans say "you guys". Aargh. Saying "you" is sufficient and can be used to address a group. I'm thinking maybe Canadians use this phrase as well.

      Hey 'guy'...quite interesting remark here...I guess you're totally right. There's something about the word 'you' , when used as a single word, that tends to be more 'serious' in approaching a group of, in this case, brilliantly intelligent men, sitting right in front of you. In other words: I seem to understand what you're getting at. 'You guys' could sound not 'too' respectful and even maybe too 'inferior', if you start to analyze such. Here in Europe...how do we do this here? I don't know...maybe a totally other approach? ;-}

      Dawn C I agree with you on that. I’m Canadian and I dislike the use of “you guys” . Not respectable to address them like that. Sounds juvenile.
