    This video in particular really resonated with me. I have a lot of the same issues and after recently needing a wheelchair for the first time I took that as a wake up call to really take this stuff seriously and stop dipping my toes into the healing work and instead jump in fully.
    My husband climbs and has no one to go with any more and in my mind I said “I can’t do that with my joint issues so can’t be me either” so it’s funny you talked about climbing at the end. It’s nice to see you can and it’s going well!
    Thank you for being so open and sharing. ❤

    I understand your dilemma with your etsy shop being focused on chronic illness. Most of my UA-cam channel has been about that, and I finally just made all of those videos private, and I feel really good about people not watching them anymore.

    It’s amazing to see your recovery! Is there an online support group for those of us that are still in bed and starting DNRS?

    That saucer chair behind you in the acupuncture mat segment looks sooo comfy and now I want one (and the mat too lol)! I'm really looking forward to the next diet video update :) It's so awesome to hear your connective tissue is improving.

    Hi Rach! Thanks so much for such a lovely calming video 😊 I was wondering if you find the prana mat pillow comfortable for your neck? I don’t usually use pillows so that is the only part that makes me unsure otherwise I’m so keen to try it! 🥰

    Yay!!! I love this video! Do you think if I increase my meat (but still include vegetables), if this would still be helpful as a full meat diet? I have hEDS thank you

    Glad you're doing well. I have recently found that I have eds, after going through similar issues as you. Was bed bound for almost a year because of how bad the POTS got, in and out of the hospital, etc, etc. All that fun stuff. I have actually found a good deal of healing through meat heavy diet but I still eat fruit and honey and dairy.
    Even been able to start exercising and working again. But I still have a ways to go! My question is, in your experience, do you think that the fruit and honey is hindering my healing? I tried going full carnivore but I couldn't tolerate the keto flu phase, it triggered my POTS so bad it felt like I was going to end up in the hospital.
    Sorry for the long comment, blessings on your journey!

      Love your diet! That works for me too but boy do i know how hard the pots hits on carni/keto. thats why I also now eat cooked fruits and a little honey. high level of electrolytes helps but its hard to get enough in i know! I take salt tablets to help and would love to go full carni again as it seems to reset me somehow

    I wanted to ask any of you, I am also training and i have noticed im sleeping a lot lately and I am wondering if that’s because my nervous system is turning off?
    I have never been able to sleep like this since i got 🤕 Thank you in advance for your input.

      Glad to hear you've been able to get more sleep! That's actually really common to feel extra exhausted and sleep more when you start to retrain. It's a sign your nervous system is starting to feel safe, and likely that your body is moving from chronic "fight or flight" to "rest and repair" mode. The first few months of doing DNRS, I often went to sleep at 5 or 6pm. I was healing but was exhausted in a good way. ❤️️ I'm rooting for you!

      I have been following your foot steps all along. I did the upright MRI because of you. And I find myself thinking of you when I think about my near future. God really sent me to your testimony. I would love to send you a little present from my art. I send personalized art care packages to people like us. Thank you so much. I’m deeply grateful. I showed my husband today how you are claiming again and I live in an area like yours pure forest. MN.
      Thank you 🙏🏼 sending you more blessings.

    Hi, what do you do to prevent/protect from ticks? Thanks!

    • @HealingWithRachael
      @HealingWithRachael  Рік тому +4

      Nothing actually! While I hope not to be biten by a tick, it’s not something I’m living in fear of. In my opinion, it’s not the ticks that are the real problem with chronic infection & lyme. It’s the body and the immune systems lack of ability to handle being bitten and clear infection normally. A huge percentage of the population tests positive for lyme without any chronic issues. As I’m regulating and healing my nervous system (which governs the immune system), I don’t anticipate a tick bite to cause severe illness. ❤️ Hope that makes sense!

    Did your new house coincide with when you started feeling better this last year?

    • @HealingWithRachael
      @HealingWithRachael  Рік тому

      We bought our house about 2 years ago now. It has been a great healing environment for me. But I definitely wouldn't say my recovery is due to the move (I'm guessing you're referring to potential mold).

      Lots of my earlier videos share this. Right now it’s really not important to me what you want to call the illnesses I’m recovering from. But I was diagnosed with EDS, POTS, chiari malformation, craniocervical instability, gastroparesis, chronic lyme, celiac, tethered cord, intracranial hypertension…the list really goes on. 🙈
