Since yellow is my favorite color, I would definitely like to see more combinations of it dip dyed with other colors. But I always enjoy your Dyepot Weekly videos, whatever the color(s) or technique(s).
@@ChemKnitsTutorials I think I've realized a theme. Every comment I make on color combos ALWAYS has grey lol. I just don't think there's many colors besides brown that don't look good with it.
Try dip dyeing a mixture of fluorescent colors. Then dip a 2nd skein using the same hues, but non-fluorescent. I got some very interesting results by doing this. Nice blend of green in this video.
I enjoy your videos so much. I started dying yarn using food colouring. {Wiltons and Barco food colouring}. What fun. There is just no way I can get to any shade of grey. The grey becomes brown. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a solution to achieve a grey. Due to health issues I would prefer not to use the other Acid Dyes eg Dharma ect. Thank you.
Unfortunately gray is SUPER SUPER hard to do with acid dyes because they break so dramatically. I've been close to a tru black a few times but never really on purpose. KoolAid Grape is pretty greyish, but still a purple.

I have a Laundry Alternative nina soft spin dryer (I do have an unboxing and review on my channel) but that model is discontinued. I"ve been very happy with the one I have but don't really have any recommendations since I haven't tried other models. Panda is another brand I'm aware of. I think.

Unfortunately, no. One brand I forget (not one I'm super aware of) says they have one but it wasn't that bright from the photos I saw.
