You know I gotta point this out before I forget. The fact that you and everyone else in your team managed to bring down what looks to be a gold crown large sized Dhisufiroa in the _Shiten_ quest honestly deserves way more credit. I once encountered a Shiten Dhisufiroa similar to this one and I could barely do anything due to him constantly pushing me back since the wings were top priority with tonfas. Props, man.
After doing a little research, I found out that this thing is black dragon class, you know, same as the Fatalis line, Alatreon, And Dire Miralis. You know, the class of dragons so powerful that they could in theory end the world. I’m beginning to see how.
@@azazel166 and considering alatreon and dire are equals, and dhisufiroa seems to be somewhat stronger than alatreon it means this thing could whoop a fatalis’ ass maybe even white considering it’s element mastery and faster movement. White fatty, well, he needs a revamp from something like the world engine to make him seem godly cause even 4U didn’t make his in game show seem like what he should be capable of. You are misinterpreting this man. Dhisufiroa has a new element called frozen seraphin element or something like that. Which fuses like 3 elements into one. Alatreon is just all elements done individually while it can only cast two at a time.

The devs wanted something that embodied Absolute Power. Just by looking at the intro attack, I can say that they've succeeded. THIS is what an Elder Dragon was always meant to be.

In fact, that's exactly why I dislike the concept of the Burst Species. The Frontier team wanted them to look more futuristic, and we got designs like Meraginasu and Varusaburosu. Even Disu, who I praised earlier, can look pretty ugly. It's not just their visual design, either. A lot of times it feels like monsters have abilities just because. "Why does Diorekkusu have electromagnetism? Why do the Akuras' and Garuba Daora's crystals explode? What the hell happened that made Zenith species so powerful? What even are the Extreme Individuals?! Who knows? The Guild doesn't! Go kill them!" Even the Exotics, monsters from Freedom Unite onwards that were brought to Frontier, aren't safe. Take Amatsu, for example. Why can it suddenly infuse its attacks with Dragon? In any other fantasy setting, maybe I wouldn't ask these, but Monster Hunter is known for making sense, and a lot of Frontier monsters make no sense! Don't even get me started on White Fatalis and Todoroki! I like how I can just write a few sentences saying how cool Disufiroa is but then write a whole paragraph about the things I dislike about Frontier the instant I get a prompt.
Nigel Orbe My biggest gripes come in the form of Dyuragaua, Eruzerion, and Bogabadorumu. Hell, I love Baruragaru and Odibatorasu and their designs, it’s just... I dunno. There’s something unsavory about a lot of Frontier designs.
OH man, now you got me started on Mi fucking Ru. The concept is already very blatantly fantasy: A monster that switches between fighting styles mid-battle only to use everything at once at the final stage. It starts out like a normal Dyuragaua hunt, but then it gets to the formshifting and- wait it just uses Tigrex and Narga's movesets for 2 of its forms? That basically means that half the fight is a rehash of the already existing pseudowyverns! In its other two forms, it again goes with the trend of having abilities just because. One form has Akura's explosive crystals, another has blue fire walls. None of these abilities are explained. In fact, why would it need these abilities?! It already has the cover of darkness, so even just stealing the movesets of two apex predators would've been sufficient even if other monsters actually appeared in Mi Ru's territory! Oh yeah the form changes are quite ugly too. Its blue fire form is GREEN because blue was already taken for the Narga form. (I like this game, I swear! I just realised that I'm writing an entire essay on why Frontier is a load of bullshit while you're just writing a couple sentences at most.)
Dhisufiroa sounds a lot like "dysphoria" which describes "a state of generalized unhappiness, restlessness, dissatisfaction, or frustration". When fighting against this thing, feeling unhappy, restless, dissatisfied or frustrated should be the least for your worries.

What can a tonfa do? -Block attacks -Can stun enemies -High dps -Can jump/combo while in the air God forbid this weapon be in the main series since this will literally make every weapon obsolete
5:16 was awesome. Jump/Diving through the fire tornado. The meteor in the background. The dragon itself doing awesome drifting, ice attacks in between flaming tornado walls. Just so awesome
As I was watching, I felt like that might be what a slice of hell could be like, that dragon scared me. I thought 140 guild quests were hard, but nope I wouldn't even be able to keep up with that hell storm, no way. The tonfas look cool, reminds me of duel blades and insect glaive combined, lol.
There's a problem with frontier out of Japan (not a problem for me though I'd like to try this games). There's a lot of people that for whatever reason think that frontier is too anime and overkill, that everything has too many spikes and explosions and everything is too hard. Those are the same that said that mhworld was hard (base game, not counting iceborne). So that's why it wasn't released out of Japan, they knew there wasn't going to be enough sales because westerns are less into tryhard games. The good thing is now that frontier shut down and mhworld showed that there's an interest in mh out of Asia that's big enough to be an important series (that it already was but now even more), the devs talked not long ago that they were open to add some frontier monsters to the main series

@@jaysecond42 Ngl Frontier Monsters don't look very well designed. 90% of this bosses attacks are just AoE after AoE after AoE. And not in a sense of, oh it does this attack that I dodge then I hit with a counter, and then we keep going. Legit most of the time these guys are just blasting it with attacks in the same spot without changing their positioning in response to its attacks. It's just beat it's ass until it dies. It just seems like visual eye cancer at times too, with explosions covering the entire fucking screen. The boss itself seems cool, conceptually speaking, but jesus christ it looks like shit at the same time.

There's very little outspacing or positioning and the gameplay revolves around counters and moves with massive amounts of i-frames. Its just not satisfying nor interesting for me. Its like Sunbreak, but even more ridiculous.
Don't mind me, just watching for tips on Dhisufiroa's lv 1000 attacks Edit: Finally killed him. I noticed that using short mode with tonfas are inconsistent to work with and mostly stuck with EX boosts to dodge through it's most dangerous physical attacks (AKA the tail) while attacking the wings. Even then, I still had a very hard time slaying this thing. What an experience
I would literally pay 200 dollars for a monster hunter game with worlds graphics and all the amazing frontier monsters. I'd fucking aheago the crap out of seeing such a game.

The only mh game that is close at showing what Elder Dragons are meant to be. Don't say you belive that Mainline Elders could even remotely cause mass destruction as the lore states, Frontier shows what they are supposed to be.
@@kingofflames738 after seeing this fight I totally agree, main series elders kinda lack that punch, at least visually, thanks to the limitations on handhelds... not that they did a good job on world either thanks to stupid optimizations, every time elders cast a skill fps drops to 20...
Same amount as it always is. It's just Guts and other hybrid skills that makes it less likely to drain out completely. Also there's options to adjust the HUD lay out for preference. Which explains why most Frontier gameplay videos often have gigantic health bars displayed on screen. It's the same amount, just altered larger in size
@@newbiegamer2003 Normally it's not that high. But in shiten form, Dhisufiroa's rate of attack is designed high enough to always be a one shot regardless of your defense. The ice spikes on the other hand chips away like 15% of your health each time you move in them. No other monster is made to be like this, thankfully. Just for Shiten Dhisufiroa. Everything else just simply hits incredibly hard. Not to the point of it always killing you in one hit, contrary to popular belief

There was so much work put into this game. Devastated they just killed it and never brought it out west. They should bring it back for a year or two, or even "offline frontier" with all the content that was added. Theres more interest now than probably ever before
@@enochsadventures shortly after this I put in the work and did it myself. Forgot I even watched this video and did Disufiroa myself. Game is absolutely amazing. It's insane that all this work was almost lost to time. To add to this, Frontier is now probably one of my favourite MH games
Well frontier monsters are canon you know, the game doesn't violate any rules to being canon. Frontier even references loclac and yakumo which are in the main games. This is just set in mezeporta which is the frontier, and hunters here have to be mc level strong just to survive
@@MrGretzky32 I feel like there isn't really a "canon" to the series, outside of some of the games referencing each other. The Frontier monsters existing at all would be a top-priority Big Fucking Problem for the rest of the world otherwise.
Not gonna lie, all the explosions and all of those crazy moves look incredibly stupid. But most importantly are those hunters sprinting with their drawn weapon? Man that's cool
In my humble opinion, this monster is awesome. Sadly by mainline standarts its just too much: Too many effects with too massive AOEs too quickly, and the dealbreaker are the particle- and sound effects. There is no second without something exploding or shattering and some kind of particle on the screen. Which is why we probably wont see it in any of the mainline games.
Dodging is better in Frontier, that's why. And it is based on a really old MH game, so of course it's gonna be outdated. But you don't even think about how it could be transformed into something better and just say "nah" instead. Those are the close-minded excuses the purists use, anyways.

I love how I watched this for the first time after playing gu and had no idea what was happening. Now Ive played frontier and defeated this thing myself, I still didnt know what was happening in this fight cause it was too much too fast xD

This guy wishes he was Fatalis (lore wise - gameplay, Fatalis still hasn't really gotten an update so he still seems slow and derpy, even his Zenith variants are sluggish but have insane AoE, so Disu _feels_ stronger when you fight him - but lore wise, Fatalis would eat this guy).

@@blanko7091 Lore-Wise because Fatalis has an actual history, and Zenith White is still the only monster in the series capable of what is implied to disintegrate you in a single attack, even in the same game Disu is in, and so on. There's a lot more lore such as White Fatty being able to crack a continent with Lightning but I admit I can't recall if that is real or rumor. The other issue is presence. Pretty much every wyvern in the series, EDs included, are implied to fear him - his armor is implied by lore to take over the Hunter wearing it and some has implied this can birth another Fatalis. Regen capabilities from a sword in Pokke Village made of Fatalis (parts used to make "Black" gear) basically implying his gear is alive. Fatalis was basically what ended the Ancient Civilization. Etc. etc. Disu rivals Shantien. Fatalis rivals the world, especially the Hunter world. Basically NOTHING fights it other than Hunters and the only ED that had an encounter with one in lore was fleeing from it, causing catastrophe in the process (Lao Shan). He's the only one with a history, and proof backing it. All we have about Disu are ... statements. I don't put claim into author statements - look at the history of Authors and Creators like Akira Toriyama, they will tend to just say what is popular or forget and have a history of contradicting their own writing. I am not saying that this is the case with the MH author you are referring to, but there's too much evidence to the contrary of his statement. We will see what happens if Fatalis is introduced into a game like World with monster fighting, whether or not he at least dominates that roster, which I assume he would, immediately starting with Nergigante. But maybe I will be proven wrong - I don't care if I'm debunked by the way. Has not happened though. Even "trusted" sources like BannedLagiacrus believe, despite that author statement, that Fatalis should be the strongest.

From the beginning of its development, Disufiroa's whole design and concept is meant to reflect "strength." Throughout Monster Hunter Frontier G, Disufiroa is called "G's Strongest" (Japanese Ｇ級最強), plus it's the second Conquest War monster introduced to Frontier. I know about fatalis's regeneration, to be honest it isnt really that impressed. Because come to think of it, fatalis can destroy a land if he wanted, while disu can destroy a land by his presence only. Fatalis doesnt rivaled the world because hes not even in the level of shantien. Bannedlagiacrus already posted the order of top 4 strongest monsters in the entire mh universe 1. Disu 2.demidura 3.alatreon 4.white fatalis Take note, the sources are from magazine, interview etc. And logically the most unstable one are always the strongest, you have to put that in your mind. Thats due of too much power that leads uncontrollable.
@@blanko7091 Despite that ranking BL still stated he thinks Fatalis should be strongest, and I don't think unstable necessarily means strong. Xeno was unstable before becoming Safi, is Xeno stronger than his evolved form? This instability by the way is why he destroys things around him with his presence. I bet if you put all of his power into a Fatalis body, the Fatalis will stabalize it. There are also arguable Fatali kin like Dire Miralis who can destroy environments with their presence. Even Gore Megala does this by proxy of the Virus and same with Vaal Hazaak. ANY of them exerting their abilities is capable of this - lacking the ability to contain said control and thus having elements just lash out will destroy these environments - Fatalis does this when he wills it, not uncontrollably. Not to mention his durability. Besides, Fatalis still ended a civilization. Fatalis still scares Behemoths like Lao Shan out of their territory. Fatalis is still considered a legend and is still always the end-game DLC content (usually the last) in the main series. On top of that, Zenith White Fatalis still has the undisputed strongest attack in the entire series regardless of Disu's moveset - Hunters can survive Disu's attacks. They cannot survive ZWF's strongest lightning strike (and Fatalis likes to melt and wear his fallen Hunters as well) - so how long would Disu's durability last vs Lightning spam, and how much damage can his elements really do to Fatalis? These things, comparisons, and lore, actually matter. Not statements. Unfortunately we will never truly know either since Frontiers is now over anyway, sadly, unless they bring Disu over to World or something. Alatreon is coming to MHW - rumors state Fatalis might as well, and this is Black Fatalis which is the weakest one, which would be after Alatreon's release if it does happen. That alone implies Alatreon is below Fatalis (if he comes to World) but we will see. I have a hunch Alatreon will obviously > Nergigante, and then Fatalis will come > Alatreon.
Disufiora is sub-species of Alatreon, It's actually a degradated one so it only have 3 elements. But because of it, it can fully control the elements (Alatreon can't do that)

@@enjoyer2227 Duremidira is actually only a 1st Class Elder Dragon so it actually has no ground against either of the multiple Black Dragons. Disufrioa is a different story since even though I hasnt been mentioned, itself is a Black Dragon and 2nd Most Powerful Montser(Most Powerful being Ultimate White Fatalis). So while Disufrioa can definitely defeat most of the Black Dragons, White Fatalis is definitely not the one since it is The God of Monsters(and I mean it's appearance also brings about a forced Solar Eclipse.)

It makes me wonder what the Guild thinks with monsters this powerful. "Ah, so we have a monster capable of ending the world. Let's just send 4 hunters after it and see what happens" it makes me wonder why they don't send more than 4 hunters for something. If I were in charge of quests, I'd assign 10 hunters for this thing. Lol the Guild in Frontier have monsters like Rathian ranked as a 2 star and Rathalos a 3 star. Now lore wise these are monsters that usually give hunters some trouble because Rathian is normally 4 star and Rathalos a 5 star but are considered weaklings and a joke to the Guild in Frontier.
It is quite hard. Even harder than Disufiroa when you don't have something to neutralize the constant heat wave from the volcano that depleting the hunter's health easily. As someone new to monster hunter, I really want this guy to be in a new game and be cannon (he may be cannon but I know almost nothing about frontiers)
I needed 11 trys to beat sans. I needed 16 trys to beat Gogmazios I needed 32 trys to beat World Alatreon Solo just barely I needed around 40 to beat World Fatalis solo After easily more than 100 trys, i have never beaten Shiten Dhisu solo. I think this puts it in quite good perspective

That basically means that half the fight is a rehash of the already existing pseudowyverns! In its other two forms, it again goes with the trend of having abilities just because. One form has Akura's explosive crystals, another has blue fire walls. None of these abilities are explained. In fact, why would it need these abilities?! It already has the cover of darkness, so even just stealing the movesets of two apex predators would've been sufficient even if other monsters actually appeared in Mi Ru's territory! Oh yeah the form changes are quite ugly too. Its blue fire form is GREEN because blue was already taken for the Narga form.

There's a problem with frontier out of Japan (not a problem for me though I'd like to try this games). There's a lot of people that for whatever reason think that frontier is too anime and overkill, that everything has too many spikes and explosions and everything is too hard. Those are the same that said that mhworld was hard (base game, not counting iceborne). So that's why it wasn't released out of Japan, they knew there wasn't going to be enough sales because westerns are less into tryhard games. The good thing is now that frontier shut down and mhworld showed that there's an interest in mh out of Asia that's big enough to be an important series (that it already was but now even more), the devs talked not long ago that they were open to add some frontier monsters to the main series

@@jaysecond42 Ngl Frontier Monsters don't look very well designed. 90% of this bosses attacks are just AoE after AoE after AoE. And not in a sense of, oh it does this attack that I dodge then I hit with a counter, and then we keep going. Legit most of the time these guys are just blasting it with attacks in the same spot without changing their positioning in response to its attacks. It's just beat it's ass until it dies. It just seems like visual eye cancer at times too, with explosions covering the entire fucking screen. The boss itself seems cool, conceptually speaking, but jesus christ it looks like shit at the same time.

AoEs after AoEs are just boring to deal with. There's very little outspacing or positioning and the gameplay revolves around counters and moves with massive amounts of i-frames. Its just not satisfying nor interesting for me. Its like Sunbreak, but even more ridiculous.

I noticed that using short mode with tonfas are inconsistent to work with and mostly stuck with EX boosts to dodge through it's most dangerous physical attacks (AKA the tail) while attacking the wings. Even then, I still had a very hard time slaying this thing. What an experience

There's something I'm always curious about when it comes to this game. Just how much health does the hunter have?
Same amount as it always is. It's just Guts and other hybrid skills that makes it less likely to drain out completely. Also there's options to adjust the HUD lay out for preference. Which explains why most Frontier gameplay videos often have gigantic health bars displayed on screen. It's the same amount, just altered larger in size
@@newbiegamer2003 Normally it's not that high. But in shiten form, Dhisufiroa's rate of attack is designed high enough to always be a one shot regardless of your defense. The ice spikes on the other hand chips away like 15% of your health each time you move in them. No other monster is made to be like this, thankfully. Just for Shiten Dhisufiroa. Everything else just simply hits incredibly hard. Not to the point of it always killing you in one hit, contrary to popular belief

I play world but Frontier is OG because the gauntlets honestly the game is the bang for my buck.
There was so much work put into this game. Devastated they just killed it and never brought it out west. They should bring it back for a year or two, or even "offline frontier" with all the content that was added. Theres more interest now than probably ever before

Well frontier monsters are canon you know, the game doesn't violate any rules to being canon. Frontier even references loclac and yakumo which are in the main games. This is just set in mezeporta which is the frontier, and hunters here have to be mc level strong just to survive

In my humble opinion, this monster is awesome. Sadly by mainline standarts its just too much: Too many effects with too massive AOEs too quickly, and the dealbreaker are the particle- and sound effects. There is no second without something exploding or shattering and some kind of particle on the screen. Which is why we probably wont see it in any of the mainline games.
Dodging is better in Frontier, that's why.
And it is based on a really old MH game, so of course it's gonna be outdated. But you don't even think about how it could be transformed into something better and just say "nah" instead.
Those are the close-minded excuses the purists use, anyways.

Lore-Wise because Fatalis has an actual history, and Zenith White is still the only monster in the series capable of what is implied to disintegrate you in a single attack, even in the same game Disu is in, and so on. There's a lot more lore such as White Fatty being able to crack a continent with Lightning but I admit I can't recall if that is real or rumor.
The other issue is presence. Pretty much every wyvern in the series, EDs included, are implied to fear him - his armor is implied by lore to take over the Hunter wearing it and some has implied this can birth another Fatalis. Regen capabilities from a sword in Pokke Village made of Fatalis (parts used to make "Black" gear) basically implying his gear is alive. Fatalis was basically what ended the Ancient Civilization. Etc. etc.
Disu rivals Shantien. Fatalis rivals the world, especially the Hunter world. Basically NOTHING fights it other than Hunters and the only ED that had an encounter with one in lore was fleeing from it, causing catastrophe in the process (Lao Shan). He's the only one with a history, and proof backing it. All we have about Disu are ... statements.
I don't put claim into author statements - look at the history of Authors and Creators like Akira Toriyama, they will tend to just say what is popular or forget and have a history of contradicting their own writing. I am not saying that this is the case with the MH author you are referring to, but there's too much evidence to the contrary of his statement. We will see what happens if Fatalis is introduced into a game like World with monster fighting, whether or not he at least dominates that roster, which I assume he would, immediately starting with Nergigante. But maybe I will be proven wrong - I don't care if I'm debunked by the way. Has not happened though. Even "trusted" sources like BannedLagiacrus believe, despite that author statement, that Fatalis should be the strongest.

From the beginning of its development, Disufiroa's whole design and concept is meant to reflect "strength." Throughout Monster Hunter Frontier G, Disufiroa is called "G's Strongest" (Japanese Ｇ級最強), plus it's the second Conquest War monster introduced to Frontier. I know about fatalis's regeneration, to be honest it isnt really that impressed. Because come to think of it, fatalis can destroy a land if he wanted, while disu can destroy a land by his presence only. Fatalis doesnt rivaled the world because hes not even in the level of shantien. Bannedlagiacrus already posted the order of top 4 strongest monsters in the entire mh universe

Despite that ranking BL still stated he thinks Fatalis should be strongest, and I don't think unstable necessarily means strong. Xeno was unstable before becoming Safi, is Xeno stronger than his evolved form? This instability by the way is why he destroys things around him with his presence. I bet if you put all of his power into a Fatalis body, the Fatalis will stabalize it. There are also arguable Fatali kin like Dire Miralis who can destroy environments with their presence. Even Gore Megala does this by proxy of the Virus and same with Vaal Hazaak. ANY of them exerting their abilities is capable of this - lacking the ability to contain said control and thus having elements just lash out will destroy these environments - Fatalis does this when he wills it, not uncontrollably. Not to mention his durability. Besides, Fatalis still ended a civilization. Fatalis still scares Behemoths like Lao Shan out of their territory. Fatalis is still considered a legend and is still always the end-game DLC content (usually the last) in the main series.
On top of that, Zenith White Fatalis still has the undisputed strongest attack in the entire series regardless of Disu's moveset - Hunters can survive Disu's attacks. They cannot survive ZWF's strongest lightning strike (and Fatalis likes to melt and wear his fallen Hunters as well) - so how long would Disu's durability last vs Lightning spam, and how much damage can his elements really do to Fatalis?
These things, comparisons, and lore, actually matter. Not statements. Unfortunately we will never truly know either since Frontiers is now over anyway, sadly, unless they bring Disu over to World or something. Alatreon is coming to MHW - rumors state Fatalis might as well, and this is Black Fatalis which is the weakest one, which would be after Alatreon's release if it does happen. That alone implies Alatreon is below Fatalis (if he comes to World) but we will see. I have a hunch Alatreon will obviously > Nergigante, and then Fatalis will come > Alatreon.

@@enjoyer2227 Duremidira is actually only a 1st Class Elder Dragon so it actually has no ground against either of the multiple Black Dragons. Disufrioa is a different story since even though I hasnt been mentioned, itself is a Black Dragon and 2nd Most Powerful Montser(Most Powerful being Ultimate White Fatalis). So while Disufrioa can definitely defeat most of the Black Dragons, White Fatalis is definitely not the one since it is The God of Monsters(and I mean it's appearance also brings about a forced Solar Eclipse.)

Lol the Guild in Frontier have monsters like Rathian ranked as a 2 star and Rathalos a 3 star. Now lore wise these are monsters that usually give hunters some trouble because Rathian is normally 4 star and Rathalos a 5 star but are considered weaklings and a joke to the Guild in Frontier.

There is a catch though, if Disufiroa loses control of the elements at any moment, it will die.

I needed 11 trys to beat sans.
I needed 16 trys to beat Gogmazios
I needed 32 trys to beat World Alatreon Solo just barely
I needed around 40 to beat World Fatalis solo
After easily more than 100 trys, i have never beaten Shiten Dhisu solo.
I think this puts it in quite good perspective
