I just love the Jayda in Stitches tutorial videos. Jayda is such a great instructor. Thanks so much Jayda for your videos, I have learned so much from you.
I get so excited when I work on your projects! You are the BEST TEACHER!! When I learn something new or different from you I know without a doubt I will retain what you have taught. Not all teachers can do that. I love your entertaining introductions. When its time to teach you are spot on and get down to business. Thank you for all that you do!!!
I have made this blanket and absolutely love doing it, I am going to do another. I am finishing the 2019 one soon. Would love another blanket as the 2017 with different animals, hockey logos, motifs for boys and girls. Love all your videos! Thanks for helping me become a better crocheter!
I can't thank you enough for your wonderful tutorials. At age 70 I decided I needed to learn to crochet and am so happy with my results. So far I completed 2 baby blankets and am working on the calendar squares and an afghan done in big blocks. Still have trouble reading patterns and charts, but if I see it done I can do it. I really enjoy learning from you and now you can cross teaching an old dog a new trick off your bucket list. Thanks again.
Hi Pamela! That's great! :) Several of our tutorials have free patterns that go with them (our website link is in the description box) and if you pick one and follow along with the tutorial, it might help you get comfortable reading patterns :)
Hi Jayda....you never cease to amaze me....thank you so much for that close gap tip...makes a big difference in the appearance all the circles I've crocheted since you shared this tip......;-D
Thank you so much you said it coooming soon. So I listened and you where right I love it I'm making the calendar blanket for a craft show and when I sell it I'm going to say credits go to you. Thanks again
just wanted to take the time to let you know that I appreciate all of your videos! I think you're the best crochet teacher out there and very down to earth.
Hi thanks for sharing. So kind and sweet of you. I will be making all the calendar block blanket. They are so cute and gorgeous. I also love your bubbly positive nature. Thanks also for the tip for how to close the gap when reaching the end of row. 👏 👍💕 Kerry
Jayda, I love your tutorials! They are so easy to follow and the patterns are always adorable! I learned to chain stitch and single crochet from my grandmother when I was a little girl but she passed away before she could finish teaching me. Thanks to you, I have finally learned how to crochet after 37 years. My Grandma would be so proud! Thank you Miss Jayda!
haha omg love your tutorials you sound so joyful and you speak so clear I love how you sound in your tutorials your always sound like your hyped up on coffee lol I will definitely have to try this pattern out soon
ive only learned how to crochet about a year ago but since finding your channel the hook is never out of my hand. ive done so many cute toys for my daughter now im working on this blanket for her. i love your channel you explain everything so clearly and your videos are so clear for visual learners. thank you so much i cant wait to see what square you do for march. being Irish im hoping for something st patricks day related haha. again thank you for your wonderful channel.
Thank you so much Jayda for this month's motif.I was so Eagerly waiting for it that by the end of the day I had finished making it!Eagerly waiting to see what wonderful idea you will come up with in March. You are so full of life and such a good teacher. It's a pleasure to watch your tutorial.
Love, love, love! :) Since I've already made your Teddy Bear Drawstring Bag (which turned out completely adorable), this February square ought to be a piece of Valentine cake.
I've been looking at the afghan for the last couple years and I decided to make 2 for my girls for Christmas next year (yes I've already started for next year or it will never get done 😂)
it's March ,I can't wait to see what the March square is.I have 3 different size blocks started for 3 different size blankets. I really enjoy following you. I just started 2 weeks ago
I am waiting, I check everyday to see if you have surprised us yet.Its really fun following you on all your projects, I have checked out most of your videos and plan on doing most, thank you.
I think I'l make this next year, as I'm making a temperature blanket this year. I also might kind of swap around the order of the squares as i live in Australia, the cold months are June, July and August and the hot ones are December, January and February. Beautiful patterns Jayda!!!
Thank you Jayda! I was just worried it was somethi.g to do with the washing. So as long as everything is acrylic it will wash and stay the same even with 2 different sizes. I thank you so much for all the advice. I have only been crocheting for a year now and am trying to learn as much as I can I have a lot to learn but you have really helped. I just was worried that the two sizes would affect how it would do after washing.
OK sometimes I feel there's to much a bulk in the joining stitch. I decided to change it up a bit and when I come to the new row I put a single crochet on top of a single crochet so that gives me some bulk to right side of stich and when I join the stitches I use that double stacked single crochet!
Hi! If you want to base your sweater around a big square, we did a live stream a while back on how to do just that! You can find it here: ua-cam.com/video/0344PP_4870/v-deo.html
Jayda yes I know this project is a old one 2017 but I’m implementing it for this year I love you are consistentl in your ideas without you yep I’d be lost on ideas and how too do them love uou and mr for taping
I love your videos. I can really feel your passion flowing through. I love how energetic and quirky you are, it makes it that much more fun! ... My tutorial requests include mermaid tail blanket (with maybe a scale stitch), infant baby doll, and toy hedgehogs and giraffes :) P.s.... Did you ever decide what border to put around last year's calander blanket?
Hi Bryne, still working out the colours for the border on last year's Calendar blanket, but a full tutorial will follow once I have it sorted out! Thank you for the suggestions too :) We have a cute giraffe pattern for sale in our Etsy shop if you're interested in checking it out :) You'll find the link in the description box!
Awesome sauce! I'll definitely check it out. My oldest also spied the mario bomb and the cute little squid, so will probably grab those patterns too! Thanks! ♡
