Did it again Michael, swear I don’t know someone who could describe music in a more complexly simple way. Truly a master of the craft. Amazing as always
The only other person who can put complex theory into explanations that make sense to us mortals is Jacob Collier. The effort Michael takes to include those of us who don't play or play by ear is greatly appreciated.
Tyler is the greatest today. He and Jason Isbell are, in my opinion, the greatest song writers of this era. I realize what kind of statement that is. They changed my life really.

I absolutely love your little improv moments! They fit so perfectly. You can take any song and break it down and make it sound so simple. I am grateful for this Chanel and your pure genuine reactions to such amazing music/talent. Love to seeing you do more Tyler Childers in the future!
I've watched so many of your videos, but I'm not a musician. I have no idea what you're talking about most of the time but I can listen for hours. Great stuff man. Cheers from BC
good stuff. Like you I love coming across lines that stop me dead and they stick in my head for the rest of the day. Tyler has one in just about all of his songs.
My Fiancée and I will be having our first dance to this song in November. Can’t wait to share that moment with her. I love seeing people have the same visceral reaction to the song that we do. Love your stuff man. Keep bringing the goods.

The intro to this video is superb. The little fillers you add are bliss. The reaction, outstanding. It makes me “giddy” to see someone enjoy a Childers song as much as myself. I learn more from your videos than most “guitar apps.” I feel more in touch and comfortable knowing that someone enjoys the song just as much
I live in Lexington, Kentucky, which is where Tyler gigged around when he was just coming up. I’m not nearly hip enough to have known about him back then, but once he started to blow up, living here had huge advantages to being a fan of his. I got to meet him and get a couple of his albums on vinyl autographed, and I got to see him concert in October 2017 at a venue here called The Burl that has a capacity of only 300 people. It was just Tyler and his guitar and it was an amazing show.
IN 8:17 he says "fried morels and fine hotels" morels are a type of mushroom that we eat in Kentucky thats seasonal, me and tyler both live in the Appalachian region of KY, and are about an hour and a half from each other, we all call them hickory chickens, but tyler went with the the actual name of the mushroom for the sake of rhyming.
Did you mean to make me break down when you said "you need to go towards something and not away"? Your whole message at the end had me man. I needed that more than I'll accept.
I like how you can instantly get into Tyler’s frame of mind regarding the lyrics he’s writing and expressing with such meaning, you can understand his emotions. Would definitely like to see you react to “follow you to Virgie”. A soulful and emotional song for him personally if you know the story behind it.

I wish that I understood your guitar gibberish lol. However, I do share your excitement for hearing it for the first time. I now measure “living”, to how relatable this kind of music is to me.
I saw him on this same tour in Charleston, SC the week before COVID craziness blew up. So grateful I got to see him when I did! He had the entire house rocking with Country Squire, and swaying with All Your'n, he played us like a fiddle!

lyrics
Drivin' through the roadwork
Oh, the work they took forever on
The road cones blur like memories
Of the miles we shared between
The place you learned to say your prayers
The place I took to prayin'
Loadin' in and breakin' down
My road dog door deal dreams
Long before we ever met
I made up my direction
Long before I knew the half
Of half that I'm sure of now
And though I'd say it ain't the way
That you'd a-gone about it
You follow me, and lead me on
And never let me down
So I'll love you 'til my lungs give out
I ain't lyin'
I'm all your'n and you're all mine
There ain't two ways around it
There ain't no tryin' 'bout it
I'm all your'n and you're all mine
Fried morels and fine hotels
And all that in the middle
Every bite and curtain drawn, I wanna taste with you
The goddess in my days in pen
The muse I ain't refusin'
The part of me that ain't around
I'm always talkin' to
So I'll love you 'til my lungs give out
I ain't lyin'
I'm all your'n and you're all mine
There ain't two ways around it
There ain't no tryin' 'bout it
I'm all your'n and you're all mine
So I'll love you 'til my lungs give out
I ain't lyin'
I'm all your'n and you're all mine
There ain't two ways around it
There ain't no tryin' 'bout it
