Your genuine passion is adorable. I also literally burst out laughing at "pale bluish-green color, oh hell no!" I've been enjoying the game, myself. My only real gripe so far is pretty typicial of the genre: most characters feel a little 1-note. Not saying it's a bad thing, but take Adeline, for example. I don't know a single person who takes their job as seriously as she does, hahah. Almost every conversation with her is "statistics, budget, logistics, 'I gotta get back to work.'" It's a ton of fun to see the characters at the pub in Fridays to see other parts of their personalities shine through, I just wish it was more obvious in day to day conversation that, "yes, I have more than one character trait." Can't wait to see how the game progresses! It's up there with RF4, Sandrock, and Trio of Towns as one of my favorites in the genre, now.
Yeah, NPCs tend to be a tad one-dimentional and stereotypical in those games, as if the 2D game could only produce two-dimentional characters :D But this bunch is nicely written so I have hopes. I don't expect the depths of the ocean here, I even like that predictability to some extent, but I am curious to see where it all goes.
